How is Rivera still an NFL head coach?

i just don’t understand the logic here. The goal of this team is to win a super bowl THIS year, not to get more picks next year or create cap space. Tre makes us better this year. Thats all that matters. if you want to trade him next year so be it, but why are you feeling “bad”. You should be ecstatic. Come on man!

Josh Allen is arguably the greatest threat in the NFL. Why are we so focused on getting a really good, premier RB? So he can rush the ball 8-10x/game? Does anyone here really want to see a RB take the ball away from Allen and have him rush the ball 25x/game? Allen and this passing game can score a TD from any point on the field at any moment - regardless of down or distance. Its beautiful to watch. Its unprecedented for Bills fans. Relish in it. Our franchise focus needs to be, above all, protecting Allen with a premier OL and continue giving him passing weapons. I never want to see what happened to Rodgers in GB happen to Allen where he’s throwing to a bunch of scrubs for far too long. We have more than serviceable RB’s. We need to upgrade at OL and we need to improve at running the ball in short yardage. 1. Protect Allen 2. provide him weapons in the pass game 3. running game just needs to be situationally functional. Wasting draft picks on a RB before the first two priorities are addressed every year would be criminal w Allen at QB.

All i care about was I hit on Allen. I did not like Rosen at all. And yes, im glad Allen surpassed Wentz in like his second season in the league. Lol. Hahah. Fun times.

i agree with most of this. X-factor is coaching. I absolutely love McD and wouldn’t replace him for anyone. That being said, Andy Reid and Mahomes have been doing this longer and have an undeniable chemistry/mojo between them and within their offense. McD and the coaching staff need to get over that hurdle. These teams are fairly equal w personnel. Coaching and player execution will win the game ultimately.

Who cares about the Jets and Breece Hall. We dont have to figure anything out. They need to figure us out. And good luck at that.

You can make a trip shorter however the body difference remains its 1pm in LA and your internal clock is at 9pm London time. Vice/versa but I get your point.

Another thing too is the very name of the league. Would it still be the NATIONAL football league? Or do we change it to International Football League (IFL) or Major League Football (MLF). i know that to many it may be semantics, but words matter and with teams overseas its no longer a national league. Does the brand change? Is that a good thing? I dont want that. in short, I simply feel the NFL is trying to squeeze a square peg in a round hole. Yeh i get that but the game continues.

In a perfect world for me the NFL wouldn’t expand to Europe. We invest the $$$ into the product we have here already. Make it better. Expand within the US if there is a market for it. Milwaukee? Portland? St Louis? Oklahoma? Hawaii? Etc. Logistically, it would make more sense to expand into Mexico and Canada than it would Europe. But I get it - money talks and there’s more $$$ in Germany/England than Mexico.

My family is from Spain and i grew up watching the other kind of football as well. the commercials are the one thing in the NFL that drives me bonkers. If they can play a 90 minute match in soccer without commercials other than the halftime break, we can play 60 minutes and do the same. A soccer match takes roughly 2 hrs for 90 minutes of play + halftime and aggregate time. NFL game takes 3-3.5 hrs for 60 minutes of play. It’s asinine. Granted, I get the clock stoppage in NFL vs no clock stoppage in soccer, but its the commercials that are a time suck. That’s why I hate watching games in person as opposed to on tv - seeing players just standing around waiting for the commercial break to end while im freezing my butt off is painful. I wish the nfl would introduce more of the split screen advertisements inbetween plays or flash Budweiser or Chevrolet at the bottom of the screen or a variation thereof. But lets keep it moving. I remember when soccer first started being televised in the US on public tv and they would cut to commercial in the middle of the game and a goal would be scored and you’d miss the goal. Lmao. That didn’t last very long. Eventually they got it right.

We had one of the worst first half’s under McD. Amazing comeback vs a good team on the ROAD. I think this team was just in a funk from the fins in the first half. Looking forward to a home game.

The medical community has stated CTE is not yet fully understood. In that most comprehensive study in 2017, 110 of 111 brains showed signs of CTE. Clearly not all 110 of those individuals went rogue. So at what point do we say any outlier behaviors are statistically significant. Its hard to prove. Correlation and causation are two completely different things. How many people in the general population have CTE. We dont know for sure. How many NFL players have CTE currently. We dont know. Theres a lot we don’t know. In July 2017, a new study showed that 110 of 111 brains examined showed signs of CTE. Based on that study we can almost assume the very large majority of NFL players have some form of CTE.
