  1. Two wildcard teams interested in DeSean Jackson: #Redskins and #Bills. Can see both fits. Toss those in with #Chiefs, #Raiders and the rest.
  2. Nobody trades up to # 1 to draft a left tackle when they already have a PROVEN LT on the roster. WR?? Doubtful. Are either watkins or evans worth giving up an entire draft? No way. My head would explode. Mack? Maybe. But i could have possibly seen that more of a possibility under pettines D than schwarz. Clowney? This is the only real viable trade up IMO. DE is a bit of a need across from Mario and clowney is a monster. Could be worth a trade up. QB? Doubtful. But trading up to #1 from 9 a year after drafting EJ would pretty much seal EJ's fate. I just dont see it playing out that way. Its one thing to take a QB if one drops to 9 (though that would be controversial too) but its a completely different animal to say "we're going all in on this new QB". Very doubtful. In the end, all scenarios would be very unlikely for BLO. Based on our needs, we're sitting pretty at 9. Maybe jumping up a few spots if we REALLY want watkins or mack but not all the way to 1.
  3. Cowboys impressed: http://www.dallascow...b1-5b009a509db7 Texans impressed: http://msn.foxsports...mpressed-032714 Jaworski impressed (no link needed) Lebron, Vick and Bush impressed (lol): http://nfl.si.com/20...ck-george-bush/
  4. lol! I feel like I replied to the same post a while ago. is this the same guy again?
  5. Why are we taking away from Manziels success bc of the talent around him? He succeded with what he had. Praise him. Winston did with FSU what Ej couldnt. Should we rip on EJ? Using the same logic, yes.
  6. Ugh. I brought up EJ's draft status prior to draft bc yoloinohio is the one who mentioned how Manziel is not rated in many peoples top 10. Geeze man, follow along.
  7. There is a time to criticize and there is a time to be respectful. Guess what time it is now. Learn the difference.
  8. You assume we dont need a QB. Therefore its pointless to have this discussion bc of that fundamental disagreement. The majority of people didnt think EJ was a 1st round QB, but here we are. Should we argue about that? =)
  9. What an A-hole. Then again, his mayor smokes crack and he probably voted for him. Par for the course
  10. Id rather have pryor over any of our backups
  11. At 9 you take him in a heartbeat. Anything less would be uncivilized.
  12. Correct. But how long ago was that? I mean we're talking over a decade ago.
  13. You make it seem like this happens all the time in Buffalo. How many QB's have the bills actually drafted in the first 2 rounds in the last 10 years? 15 years? 2003: JP Losman 2013: EJ Manuel Heck, you have to go back to Tod freaking Collins in the 1995 NFL Draft to find another QB we took in the first 2 rounds. And NONE of those 3 QB's were top 10 picks. When was the last time we drafted a QB in the top 10? Lord knows we've had plenty of picks in the top 10 over the last 20 years (probably the leader). The Bills consistently REFUSE to address the QB position in its entirety, maybe THAT is our problem.
  14. The guy already comes from a ton of money and already has had a ton of attention - if you ask me, he's better prepared than most 20-21 yr olds to handle those specific factors. In fact, you could easily make the argument that he'll get LESS attention if he ends up somewhere in Buffalo or Jax, compared to the circus that was Texas A&M/college football.
  15. Actions? You mean winning the Heisman? Or are you referring to a 19-20yr old acting like a 19-20 yr old?
  16. This is why drugs become illegal. Some people just can't handle it.
  17. Rest in peace.
  18. I just read it on my phone like an hour ago, that's what the headline said.
  19. as per Tweet from Tim Graham, Hairston is STILL not healthy. Unreal. Sign me up for OL!
  20. It's hard to disagree with Rotoworld. OT IS a need; FS IS a need; and the fact that we really know nothing of EJ after one season, QB is still a need. Some may have a coronary if we take a QB in the 1st round. I'd welcome it. Are you trying to count the number of knee injuries EJ had in one season with those Dings?
  21. Another way of looking at it: there have been what? 48 super bowls? 48 different ways to win it. Theres no super formula to win one. Next year we'll demonstrate everyone how to win it a 49th different way.
  22. You give me one elite pass rusher and one elite corner and you have the infredients needed for a good defense. Theyre the two ingredients on D that have the capability to sinlgle-handedly affect the opposing offense - the CB locking down the O's #1 threat and the pass rusher disrupting the QB which by correlation, affects the other WR/passing game. I dont even mention run d bc no single player on D can stop the run by himself. Run D is a scheme/group effort. So yeah, IMO - corner and pass rusher (whether de or LB i dont care)
  23. If a CB performs at a top level in your system, pay him. Other than QB's, all positions are prone to bounce around the league.. Thats what happens when u have a cap.
