  1. can't believe i missed this thread. DOOOOOOOOOOOOM
  2. I seriously doubt we win this game in "convincing" fashion. The only way we do that is if Fitz has one of his clunker games. Fitz is just as likely to throw for 250yds and 3TD's against us as he is 3INT's. The Texans lost to a Giants team who essentially was playing for their entire season in Week 3. Giants stepped up. I had this game as a "W" prior to the season but we'll see what Fitz shows up and we'll see how we run the ball vs. the Texans. It should be a fun game.
  3. If we want to make the playoffs this year or at least finish 9-7 we have to win this game. We have to beat the average teams (or at least teams with an average/below average QB) and hopefully go around .500 vs the good teams.
  4. Sammy has been playing with a banged up rib. I'm sure some of you have had banged up ribs and know just how hard it is to even breathe sometimes.
  5. I'm on board with this. Prior to the season I had us at 1-2 with a win vs Miami and losses vs. Bears/SD. Being 2-1 and seeing the Pats struggle the way they have and Miami/Jets not looking very impressive at all is a big bonus. If we're going to lose a game guys, losing to a non division team is the way to go. Lets face it, SD looks like a top 3-5 team in the NFL right now. Things that we need to improve however: EJ needs to complete on the deep passes. He had multiple WR open on deep routes and he completely overthrew them. You need to hit those. Also, we need more consistent pass rush. Our pass rush kinda sucked vs. the Bears but Cutler still found a way to blow it. Our pass rush showed up big time vs. Miami but then disappeared again (for the most part) yesterday vs SD. Unlike Cutler, Rivers will destroy you if he has 6 seconds to throw the ball. Prior to the season I had us beating Houston. We need to win that game. Losing vs a superior team like SD doesn't kill me, but we need to beat the average teams if we want a shot at 9-7 or the wild card.
  6. I just did it, hahaha. awesome.
  7. Fact remains, there is no rule against calling a TO right before a kicker kicks. What you want would require a rule to be created specifically to address this matter. And why would such a rule be created? If a team has TO's remaining, they're allowed to take them right up until the second before the ball snaps, like in every other down/play of the game.
  8. Weather.com is horrible. about 75% of the time the app on my phone will say "currently sunny" as I'm standing outside in the rain.
  9. is Toni in healthcare? http://www.healthgrades.com/provider/toni-ventrilla-y9vkrxz
  10. Or we can finish 4th in the AFC East in 2014.
  11. lmfao. Yes, the though has crossed my mind.
  12. I don't believe in numerology.
  13. I would say we need to consistently get the TD and occasionally get the 3. At least that's what teams with a winning record tend to do more often than not.
  14. Seriously man.
  15. I'd rather not look ahead. We have our hands full with the Chargers.
  16. I HATE that little 4'2" midget.
  17. We're going to have to do to them, what they did to Seattle this past Sunday: dominate time of possession. We can't go toe to toe with Rivers and hope to win a shootout. 1. Win time of possession. 2. Score TD when in the red zone. 3. Win turnover battle.
  18. If Gilmore could ever become even 80% of the player he was supposed to be when we drafted, our DB's will be awesome.
  19. haha that was an awesome visual last year. A couple more weeks and it'll be true this season again at this rate.
