  1. My view on Evans is jaded bc i wtched a bunch of his games in 2012 and only about 2 games last season. When i watched him in '12 he was still extremely young and raw - talented but certainly not overly impressive. I think he greatly improved this season with his route running. His hands to me are still a bit of a question mark - if hes going to be our "elite" #1 he has to have elite hands. At 9, i would not be upset if we went w evans due to his combo of size and speed. Unless the bills really screw us this season, i feel ill be satisfied w our first pick. I see either Ebron, Evans or a trade down to get a RT and an extra 2nd rounder.
  2. No offense taken, but I don't agree with you. QB Johnny Manziel and CB Darqueze Dennard may be rated higher than Mike Evans or Ebron or any OT on the Bills board. You think we're taking either a QB or CB at 9? I don't. You can't simply throw position away and draft BPA at #9. If a RB was the BPA available at 9 would you draft a RB with Fred Jackson and CJ Spiller on the team already? You draft BPA while also looking at the starters currently on your team and you try to come as close as you can to matching both slots - BPA and BPA that also happens to be a position you may need a starter/upgrade at. Of course, there are always exceptions. Also, don't think for a second that a team's needs aren't taken into account when a team ranks the prospects. So a team may naturally be more inclince to rank Manziel higher than Ebron just b/c they need a QB bad; doesn't necessarily mean that Manziel is really a better prospect than Ebron though. It's all relative. For example, do you think the Falcons would draft Watkins at #6, or do you think they'll go with a defensive player or an OT? Watkins will probably be there when the Falcons draft and he's probably one of the top 3 players in the draft in terms of talent/potential, but the Falcons don't need another WR. We took BPA with CJ Spiller a few years ago, and look what that has done for us. I'm not saying I'm right and you're wrong, there's no sure fire way of drafting (which is clear by all the 1st round busts in the NFL). If I was drafting at #9, I'd look at my team and figure out 2-3 positions that I really needed to improve and target BPA at one of those positions at #9. At #9 you'll be bound to have a top player at one of your positions of need. Pick your favorite and pray it works out.
  3. You forgot the trade down option! Lol
  4. There have only been a handful of TE's ever drafted in the top 10. The elite TE's in the game today have all been drafted in late first round through 4th round, for the most part. I like Ebron, and if we take him with our 1st pick I certainly won't be crying. But fact is there are other solid TE's in this draft that can become very good NFL TE's. IMO, it's not Ebron or bust at the TE position.
  5. According to my sig, CHRICHTON IT IS.
  6. Jimmy Graham was drafted in the 3rd round. I understand what you're saying, but playmakers can be, and are obtained in any round.
  7. Maybe an upgrade at DL opposite Mario too..
  8. This is how I'm viewing things now: CB is set LB is set TE - from everything that has come out of the Bills appears to be set RB is set OL - paying Williams that much money you bet your butt that he's starting at LG, which only leaves RT up in the air still. Hairston? Draft? Pears? WR - could add an elite player via draft DL is set S is not set unless they think Duke Williams is ready to go (which he may be) So to me we're gonna have to address Safety, RT and possibly WR in the first 3 rounds and not in that order.
  9. I dont see bills going TE w first pick. Im gonna have to edit my draft bc w FA ad what ive heard from OBD i dont see us addressing either OG or TE in first 3 rounds
  10. Whether stevie is an NFL #1 is semantics and irrelevant. When healthy hes our best WR and a proven solid WR. Letting him go leaves us with a gaping hole at the position. You want graham to be your #2? You think a rookie WR is going to come in here and put up 1000+ yds? Youre delusional. And stevie smith 35 and SJ is 27. Maybe u should put down the pipe.
  11. Let me get this staight: You want to trade our "#1" bc they dont have a "#1" (although to you stevie is clearly not a #1)so we can draft a "true" "#1" I feel like smacking myself.
  12. Yes, an entire OL will suffer if there is one really bad OL. The chris williams signing was one of the worst signings in a while. Talk about overpaying for GARBAGE.
  13. Looks good. I'm getting too psyched now for this to not be true.
  14. Kiko//Spikes//Lawson SOLID. that would be a bummer if it ends up being a false alarm.
  15. WOOT SCHEFTY is asleep at the twitter Though I think Spikes is a huge SCUMbag, he's awesome vs. the run and putting him at MLB would be the best signing of the season for us.
  16. And let me edit what I said: Not everyone ripped the idea of moving Kiko to the outside, but quite a few thought it was blasphemy.
  17. LMAO. Sure, but no lower than 2nd!
  18. Maybe we can merge the thread I created months ago stating that Kiko should be at OLB and that MLB was thus probably our biggest need now, only to get ripped apart by all the geniuses on this board.
  19. Lovely sarcasm, but with all of your loveable underachievers, we finished 6-10 last year. The year before. And the year prior. Last in our division every single season. The end.
  20. Who cares when they were drafted. We can bring in jamarcus russell too and form an all-star team of underachievers and we'll continue to be just that - underachievers.
  21. Solid signing. You can never have enough corners!
  22. We just gave 2yr/5m to a backup/special teams LB who i dont know if hes ever played a full nfl season yet in 5 seasons. Whos nuts now?
  23. Lmao. $5m for keith rivers. I need a drink.
