  1. I would argue that going off of what we know, Cutler and that WR corps is worlds better than EJ (specifically) and our WR corps. Schwartz's Lions defenses weren't exactly great vs. the pass. Gilmore has a lot to prove at CB. + Bears at home - look for an aerial dismantling of our defense. EJ will complete 3-5 yard passes while cutler carves us up for 15-20yds at a time. Only way I see this game being close is if Cutler decides to have one of his clunker games, which is possible, but probably unlikely. The Bears' O-line during the preseason appeared to pass protect OK but had some issues run blocking. We'll see how that translates to a real game. I don't think we match up well vs. the Bears. Hoping for the best, but fully prepared for a potential blowout in what amounts to a very tough away game.
  2. It's hard to respect a coach who preaches the nonsense he does to the players, but then keeps his buddy and abomination of a coach Crossman as coach. Even harder to respect a coach who has never achieved anything as a HC in college or the pros, and most likely never will. At the end of the day, if I'm a player, I look around at my coaching staff and wonder to myself: "why am I playing for Syracuse University?"
  3. Negatives: Losing Pettine was big, imo (regardless of getting Schwartz). Marrone/Hackett have proven nothing in college or the NFL. EJ is a huge question mark and being 100% objective after watching him this preseason in year 2, his arrow is pointing down so far. We have an elite talent in CJ spiller and it appears (so far) that we will continue to waste his talent by simply running him up the middle with him. Positives: Our WR corps looks much improved. Neutral: We added OL depth but not much in terms of actual talent to the OL. I still see this OL struggling to push people around and dominate. Hypothetically speaking, our run D should be better but make no mistake I fully expect our pass rush to suffer this season with the loss of Pettine and his schemes. That being said, it will all fall on EJ's shoulders. No surprise there.
  4. I'd venture to guess that 4 gallons of anything isn't good for you. ever.
  5. though things change so much from week to week in the NFL forecasting in august is hard, but still fun nonetheless: @Bears - Loss Dolphins - Win Chargers - Loss @Texans - Win @Lions - Loss Patriots - Loss Vikings - Win @Jets - Loss bye (3-5 at bye) Chiefs - Win @Dolphins - Win Jets - Win Browns - Win @Denver - Loss Packers - Loss @Raiders - Win Patriots - Loss Final record: 8-8. Improved, but not quite there yet.
  6. LMFAO. wow. This guy gets paid 6 figures to do one thing and one thing only: know more about the NFL than the average person. What a joke.
  7. What a great week of news for the Bills - start LT has possible illness and now star DT continues to be his own worst enemy. Rough off season when you add in Kiko too.
  8. I personally don't. Maybe Joe somehow knows or has a inkling through sources. Or maybe he's just talking to talk.
  9. Joe B suggests Glenn could be dealing with a similar issue as Hairston last year. http://www.rotoworld...482/cordy-glenn This would be a back breaker. A complete disaster.
  10. Man this hurts. It's not that we can't move on from this - we can. It's the fact that we always have to take 1 step back after taking two forward. What a kick in the nuts.
  11. I'd drop a hundy on it and take the girl out one less time a year to make up for it.
  12. Typical nonsensical football article in May. Why not just say EJ Manuel could be bound for solid season. No, he has to be bound for pro bowl. I'd take him being able to play 5 consecutive games without blowing out a knee.
  13. Ebron wins OROY Clowney wins DROY
  14. From A+ to F Id have to objectively give them an A. We snagged the best WR in the draft without having to give anything up this year. We lacked true playmakers at WR. We improved the OL, which was also a weakness. We added some depth at ILB which is also key having older veterans play that spot right now. Great draft.
  15. This is the perfect spot for Amaro - TE or Yankey - OG
  16. Best of luck Stevie. He was a great success story with the Bills. He was a good player with the Bills, but never reached a higher level than that. Unfortunately, he also came up pretty small in huge moments. The time to move on is now.
  17. Probably agree. Also, these charts are only used as a guide - it's not exact.
  18. dude, this is awesome. only on TSW do we argue about these things. furthermore, most people on here always crying about not having playmakers - cry cry cry cry; then we land a playmaker and they cry b/c we gave up too much. cry cry cry cry.
  19. So in your opinion, in May 2014 we should be concerned about which QB we can take in 2015? Awesome. Im glad we root for the same team. Glad to have you as a fellow fan.
  20. What a freaking AWESOMMMME day 1 for the bills. Considered by many as the best player in the draft, and we GOT HIM. And we got him without giving up another pick this season. OUTSTAAAAAAANDINGGGGG. Ill gladly give up our 1st next year after we make the playoffs this year. On a sidenote, negativity on this board by a few is pathetic. There are times to b*tch and moan and be critical and there are times to celebrate. I expected a different reaction on here.
