  1. The browns could be a Superbowl team. Terrific defense, strong offense... They look good since Flacco took over. This team is starting to worry me... I certainly wouldn't want to play them in CLE on January.
  2. I hope your right and more importantly I hope your dream track record as it relates to football is infallible! Assuming we make the playoffs, I don't think it would be a huge surprise to many people if the Bills made the SB, but the Lions.... That would be a shock especially because the general consensus is the 49ers are the team to beat... Rightfully so! Would love to see the 49ers be a one and done team
  3. What a thing that would be! Did you really dream about this game too?
  4. I more or less agree. I didn't pay for to read all of the articles, but if they are inline with the free "introduction" then it's not McD's character that is under attack, but rather his approach and personality. Maybe a fine line, but perhaps fair- Again- I haven't read the stuff behind the paywall. I think even his biggest critic would agree that fundementally, McDermott is a good and honorable man, with good intentions. Unfortunately this is how it goes for head coaches sometimes- who are public figures. Of course, if any of Tyler's fact's are embellished and made up, then that would be despicable.
  5. Even if we run the table, it's hard to see the Dolphins losing 3 more games this year. Even if the drop one to us and say a game against the Ravens or cowboys, they still end with a better record. Even if they lose 2 + the finale against us- we have to run the board against a tough group of opponents.
  6. Well stated. I'd like to add that the injuries (particularly on defense) compound their consistency issues.
  7. I said yes because the question was phrased "trade places right now / today". I think it is hard to project either team too far out. Bills clearly have issues- but could very well get everything sorted out over the remainder of this season and offseason- and get back to being a perennial Superbowl contender. We also have Josh Allen who at his best, was performing consistently at or better than Mahomes. He didn't suddenly forget how to play quarterback. The Texans on the other hand are likely to have a better season than we will this year and Stroud looks great. Still, lets see how they look at the end of the year and after defensive coordinators start doing a better job game planning for Stroud. Overall, I think the Bills have a slightly better future over the medium and long term simply based on Allen. Having said that right now, I'd rather be a Texans fan- at least for the remainder of this season- their fans have a much more enjoyable season to look forward to I think.
  8. I think it's time that Bills Mafia hire out every billboard in Buffalo, simply with this message! Shows as a fanbase that we support our Unicorn QB, and recognizes that we can't waste his prime years.
  9. I believe continuity is essential for long term success, and while I've been on board with getting rid of our coordinators (Frasier, Dorsey 🙏), I've been patient with McDermott because I think he's a good coach. But the more I read things like this; the more comfortable I'm getting sacking him at the end of the season. I believe his skill set might be better suited to turning around dumpster fire teams and not for bringing a team from good to great. Of course who do we replace him with? It might take him a while, but maybe he's the next Andy Reid, Sean Peyton or Tony Dungy... All good coaches that it took many years to to win a SB. If it is time for a change, then I hope we can find the right person to bring us to the promise land. I also like Beane, but don't know how it would play out if Sean were to get canned. Technically, they both report to TP and presumably McD could be fired while BB retained.
  10. I wish you were right, but I don't think so. I think we're stuck with Dorsey until the end of the year, or at least until we're mathematically eliminated.
  11. I don't know if Dorsey is 100% of the problem, I think Josh deserves his fair share of criticism, but i think it's time to make a change for the sake of next season- this year is lost. If we get rid of Dorsey we have half a season to see if we are able to get better results on O. Better to change one piece and assess the results rather than change everything and see what the outcome is. One variable at a time.
  12. I would fire Dorsey tomorrow because we are definitely regressing under his stewardship on O. McDermott's seat needs to start getting warm. If we collapse down the stretch I then I'd say bye bye. If we look competent down the stretch then give him another season. Something is rotting this team from the inside out and it started in the 2nd half of the GB game last year.
  13. It took 10 days to come up with this game plan?
  14. Rando question... Are any of you having buffering issues with the Peacock stream? Been watching streaming all day and only having problems with the pregame stream
  15. Bengals 42 Bills 21 Injuries are too much and the wheels come off.
  16. This hit me hard. I'm 41 and Matthew Perry to me feels like the first Ultra Celeb of my generation to pass away. His character Chandler was my favorite of the friends. Sounds like it could have been a heart attack in the hot tub. Surprisingly, a lot of people have heart attacks in hot tubs. RIP, you will be missed
  17. Keep your well stated, rational responses to yourself- this is TBD after all You are right that any coach could have won with our D when healthy. McD will be tested with the parts we have left and it's on him to adjust and make us successful
  18. One week is an overreaction. 3 weeks is a trend and represents over 17% of the season.
  19. Many things went wrong in this game. Some issues were self inflicted, some weren't- but once the bad stuff started rolling downhill the issues compounded which is what you saw during the 1st half. I think if this game was in Buffalo and we didn't have a huge time zone disadvantage we would have won an ugly game (much like the Chiefs did vs the Jets)- so I don't think we need to blow up the team. That said, Dorsey needs to find rhythm and flow to his calls, and so a better job of removing the things that don't work. Our TE's are collectively underwhelming- Knox especially. We need to find better balance with our RBs. Cook didn't seem to have it today, so why not lean on the other guys? Unfortunate circumstances compounded by injuries and self inflicted wounds were too much fo us to overcome. If we can get healthy I still think we are a formidable team.... so hopefully, by some maricle we don't lose Jones and Milano for the entire season.
  20. No, his track record speaks for itself. There are things he needs to work on, but we were in the dark ages before he got here. Our defense is (was) much better since getting rid of Frasier. If (insert name of successful HC) didn't have (insert name of top notch QB), said coach would also mimic Belichick sans TB. We have a very good HC and QB. We just need some good news on the injury front (and stop stop having them)
  21. Yes when we beat one of the worst teams, all of our injury problems will suddenly vanish
  22. Geez what's your problem. I never said I wasn't going to continue supporting my team. I'm simply saying that is very gut wrenching for me as a fan to watch as our season stands on the brink- a result of an awful degree of bad injury luck that nobody can do anything about.
  23. Luck is the single most important factor for any team. If the Chiefs are unlucky last year and Mahomes got injured, they don't win (or make it to) the Superbowl.
