The perennially scared Bills fan in me can't help but he nervous by how good Denver looks
-
Made it look like it, but it wasn't. Matters where the ball was when it was thrown, not the player. The ball was thrown slightly backwards, so unfortunately a legal pass and hence a good no call from the ref

So, how is everyone feeling about this defense going into the playoffs?

Agreed. We need to have a creative game plan on defence against KC, BAL and CIN (if they get in). Can't keep relying on what we know hasn't been good enough in the playoffs. -

Unfortunately someone else will claim him before we do -

Not good. We aren't very good defensively on 3rd and long and that directly impacts our offense because we can't get the opposing teams offense off the field and put Josh Allen back on the field. Turns over help of course, but tend to be streaky and come in bunches as they say. If the D gets hot in January we can go tie to toe with any offense. We will need a very good plan to limit the Ravens. That game could easily be a ToP nightmare of we can't get time off the field and then fall behind. -
It was a lateral, not a forward pass. Camera angle wasn't exactly straight on and made it look like a forward pass. That said.... ...I 100% agree that we had a great chance to win it all that year. Warner and the Rams would have been tough, but I think we would have done better than TN because our defense was so good. We should have been ready for the lateral. History could have been different for us!

This was cool, thanks for sharing OP. On a side note, did any of you notice how $hitty our old locker room was? It had low ceilings (looks like a drop ceiling with fluorescent panel lights, a small TV, bad lighting, etc? Seems like it's one long room with no breathing space, jammed packed with lockers not much nicer than a public country club. At the very least we have a better locker room now!

Bengals, Dolphins, Broncos -Who do you want to see as the 7th seed?

When we played the Colts earlier this year. Did Taylor play? I'm too lazy to look it up -

Help me understand. The trade deadline is in October, but always, towards the end of every season, we see trades like this...? -
Name a player who is comparable to Josh Allen.....
saundena replied to Special K's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly, how heavy do we think Josh is now? I'd bet my house that he's no longer 237 (as listed) or 240 as you suggest. If you just look at his face, he's filled out quite a bit. I'm not saying he's fat, he's just fully an adult now and no longer a kid coming out of college. Coupled with a legit NFL strength and conditioning training program and maybe a bit of the delish blue-collar food Buffalo offers; I bet he's close to 250 - 255. A natural, world class athlete like Josh, with a large frame like he has. Could easily gain 20 - 25 lbs and if you saw him on a beach or something, it would be very hot to notice the weight gain. Whatever he's doing, it works. As long as he doesn't lose quickness, the weight likely affords him some protection. To answer your question, I said a cross between Elway and Favre, but this season, much less Favre. Cunningham / Elway is spot on I think- maybe with some of Kelly's on the field presence and leadership -
McDermott victory speech after Lions win

Thanks. I don't live in the area any more. I guess the snow was so bad that players couldn't get to the facility then? -

Maybe I missed something, but why did we only have one day of practice this past week? Isn't it usually ~3 days in a normal week, something like this....? Monday- Recovery & medical checks & classroom game review Tuesday - classroom game review Wednesday - Game concept install and practice Thursday - practice Friday - practice Saturday - final walk through and travel if needed Sunday - Game -
Fire McD and Hire Belichek after we lose AGAIN in the playoffs
saundena replied to JPL7's topic in The Stadium Wall
I absolutely would NOT want BB to be our head coach. McDermott isn't perfect but we can do far worse than him (People said the same things that are being said about McDermott now, about Andy Reid during his time in Philly). Some people it just takes time and as long as we have Josh, we need to continue with McDermott. That said, I would absolutely love the idea of Belichek coming to Buffalo as an interim special teams coach. Smiley is garbage and should be fired. This would be an interesting move and a lesson in accountability. I wonder if BB would think such a move would be beneath him- a temporary job and a chance to add another SB to his resume? Special teams have been a nightmare for us this year and I think BB would be an improvement and add accountability to that part of the locker room. -
Truth. Our D Line disappears at the worst possible moments (or in today's case. The entire game).
-
The blocked punt and 2 McDermott decisions cost us the game. Also, a very bad defense They are all equally responsible for the loss
-
I thought the same thing. He looks ill.

Have kickers forgotten how to kick?

Does anybody have a video link of this. I can't find one

The 5 picks are bad, but take away the hail Mary INT and the Lions were only -2 in turnovers... Not so bad. I think the biggest difference maker was the 4 sacks that the Lions got on Stroud for 40 yards. Each of those are most as bad as an INT. Very odd and entertaining game!
-
My take is the opposite, I think they gave it all they had and still came up short. I think that will break the Dolphins and their soft coach. He's a creative guy. But not a leader

That was painful. I feel sorry for the guy.

What is wrong with the online too? -
If Hopkins becomes available, would you want Beane to trade for him?

Yup. We need help -
We sucked, but at least the noon games meant the entire Sunday wasn't wasted! I hate primetime games
