  1. That would be one of the most Cleveland moves ever. Accountant-turned-GM trades into the first round to draft an athletic TE New GM and HC proceed to alienate said TE Said GM and HC are fired; accountant-turned-GM reassumes power Accountant-turned-GM hires creative, offensive-minded HC New HC proceeds to trade young, athletic TE (the one that the organization traded into the first round to draft) away for a day 3 pick
  2. I just don’t see why a new, offensive-minded HC would want to give up on a young, athletic TE that’s on a cheap contract for a day 3 pick. That doesn’t make sense.
  3. Why would Cleveland make that trade?
  4. Rudolph was pretty adamant about not saying it. I don’t know if I’d say angry, but he’s clearly bothered by it: https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2864123-mason-rudolph-denies-myles-garretts-racial-slur-allegation-totally-untrue.amp.html
  5. What if Rudolph was asked to let it go so as not to dissuade players from coming forward when someone does utter a slur in the future? Not saying that’s the case, but one could certainly understand if it were.
  6. Maybe, but I’d really like a speed back. My current favorite is Javon Leake
  7. Yes, it will. How will Olsen’s long-term health be affected by a return to the field? That’s what I’m assuming he’s mulling.
  8. I think he’s going to the booth. If the money is even close it’s a no-brainer.
  9. Yep. In fact it didn’t come out until a week later: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-finds-no-evidence-to-support-myles-garretts-appeals-claim-that-mason-rudolph-used-racial-slur/amp/ and apparently Rudolph’s teammates were pissed about the accusation: https://www.post-gazette.com/sports/steelers/2019/11/21/mason-rudolph-racial-slur-allegations-myles-garrett-appeal-browns-steelers-fight/stories/201911210165
  10. And also the Little Bandit Twins’ birthdays as well. Oh, and Drew Bledsoe ?
  11. Perhaps, but maybe I’m old fashioned or something—to me it reeks of justifying an unjustifiable act. Maybe Rudolph said that; maybe he didn’t. I’d like to believe someone would’ve corroborated it, though nobody had denied it either. For me, contrition is the way to gain forgiveness. A simple “I lost my mind out there and have no excuse. I hope in time everyone will forgive me” would’ve been sufficient.
  12. What were you expecting from a 6th round WR? Seriously. And no, not drafting WRs doesn’t mean they aren’t good at drafting WRs; it means that they haven’t drafted them at all. If you want to argue that not doing so has been to their detriment, then I’d agree with that all day.
  13. Nope. Zero evidence to suggest he’s not good at it. There is ample evidence to suggest that he hasn’t prioritized WR in the draft. And no, a 6th round WR that is still in the league isn’t a bust. Nothing to get excited about, but calling any 6th round pick a bust is crazy.
  14. Beane was hired after the 2017 draft. Give him credit for that if you want, but I would say that there’s absolutely no reason to believe that he’s bad at drafting WRs.
  15. Yeah probably.
  16. We should “ Gillislee” a guy like Breida or Ekeler.
  17. That he does...but if he’s only a so-so run stopper using that size, then I’m not as concerned. If we want a big body to plug in there, I’m just as content signing a Michael Pierce or DJ Reader.
  18. Yeah, Edmunds and Drake were outstanding for them.
  19. You can have your wish this year; Isaiah Hodgins is the new Geronimo Allison.
  20. Why is it a fact that the Bills are “very bad” at drafting WRs?
  21. Furthermore, I fail to see why a HC and GM that are likely on their final chance to field a competent team would want to move their best offensive player.
  22. Not sure. Staff makes unbelievably stupid plays at critical times, but his playmaking ability definitely exceeds Brady’s at this stage. Now, would Staff be able to be as productive with NE’a group of targets and not KG, MLJ, and Hockenson? No idea.
