  1. I’m not seeing it with Laviska either Agreed
  2. And it ain’t close: https://mobile.twitter.com/BuffaloBills/status/1200184494793342981
  3. Indeed...but $50M is an awful lot to commit to 2 players that can hold out with zero repercussions.
  4. If he runs a 4.5 or less, Mims will find himself in the top 50 IMO
  5. Well, I hope that they swing for the fences at WR in FA, but if they don’t get their guy, and they can’t pull off a trade, then the “value” option I look at would be Demarcus Robinson from KC.
  6. That there is our Taysom Hill Jeudy may have just cemented himself as my WR1 with that nugget ? Meh, he’s 6’7”.
  7. Unless they get Dak signed before the franchise tag deadline, Cooper will hit the market. And if they do get Dak signed, then they have to choose between Cooper and Byron Jones; it’s not exactly a lock.
  8. Like I said: I’m not stumping for Cooper; he had a 2019 that was nearly identical to John Brown’s statistical output. I just happen to think that criticism should be accurate. Like if you want to say that you don’t want him here because we face NE twice per year and Gilmore takes his lunch money every time they play, then yeah, that’s valid.
  9. No. Not even close. He had the most targets on the team and the fewest drops; that means something. He also had fewer drops than guys like John Brown, OBJ, Edelman, DK, Davante Adams, Mike Evans, Michael Thomas, Kenny Golladay, Stefon Diggs...should I keep going?
  10. You spent 3 days trying to convince everyone that they were wrong about Marcell Dareus‘ cap savings if released. I think it’s okay for folks to speculate about looming FAs.
  11. He had fewer drops than 3 of his teammates last year.
  12. I think Reagor ends up 4.37ish. The guy I want to see is Hamler—I wonder if he comes in sub 4.35
  13. Wow. How many threads does this make?
  14. I have several thoughts here, but let’s start with the idea that being good is more important than having cap space...because sometimes I wonder if some fans don’t understand that (not you specifically). Anyway, the cap and lack of first round picks have almost nothing to do with those 2 teams having down years; both saw their QBs have a setback more than anything else. The cap hasn’t really held them back at all. And yes, both teams are contenders. The Rams are one season removed from a Super Bowl appearance; the Bears a year from a division title.
  15. So in your opinion having a pro bowler, a QB that improved substantially from year 1 to 2, and a DT that had 5 sacks playing in a rotation qualifies as being a GM that hasn’t nailed a 1st round pick yet? Gotcha.
  16. I know you jest, but... If it’s a DT that looks like he can be an elite pass rusher, then yes, absolutely. I mean, I’d happily spend a 1st on the next Aaron Donald—and I’m hopeful that that’s what they did last year.
  17. Not that I’m stumping for Cooper here, but this just isn’t correct. In his last 2 playoff games, Cooper has 13 receptions for 170 yards and a TD. Also, what does the draft have to do with FA? If the GM is smart, he’s not drafting to fill needs. Fill needs in FA so that you can draft elite talent at difference-making positions.
  18. I think I might have football feelings for Darrynton Evans.
  19. No doubt. I do think Buffalo’s OL has what it needs for the upcoming season, though I admit I’m hugely in favor of putting Ford at LG; I’ve always been in the Ford-at-guard camp since before draft day. A line of Dawkins-Ford-Morse-Mongo-Nsekhe looks solid to me. Long is a capable interior backup, so snag a swing OT like George Fant, bring back Bates and Waddle and I think you’re basically there. I really feel like 2 top targets added prior to the draft would be the big step this team needs. Don’t care how you get it done; just get a WR1 and another dynamic playmaker (RB/WR/TE—doesn’t matter) to fill needs. You’re definitely going to draft a WR early, and very likely adding a speed back too. An influx like that can’t help but make the offense more dangerous.
  20. Nah. Multiple teams have fixed almost everything and become championship contenders in a single offseason. The Rams had Goff, who was horrendous as a rookie, so they hired McVay and added Whitworth, Blythe, Sullivan, Woods, Watkins, Kupp, Reynolds, Higbee, and Everett to their offense in a single offseason and became Super Bowl contenders. The Bears more or less did the same in Nagy’s first year. Yes, the OL is important, but it isn’t like they have to be a dominating group; they need to be competent. Add a boatload of excellent playmakers and you’ll keep opposing coaches awake at night.
  21. Close enough...I still think there’s a small chance he ends up shocking everyone as the first WR taken.
  22. DJ’s conference call: https://nflcommunications.com/Pages/NFL-Network-Analyst-Daniel-Jeremiah-2020-NFL-Scouting-Combine-Conference-Call----Transcript-and-Audio.aspx Also, my boy Aiyuk looking solid measurement-wise!
  23. If Ruggs cracks 6’0” he’s a guaranteed top-15 pick.
  24. I suspect that they’d move Campbell before they cut Bouye. They have zero corners without AJ, and they’d still have Taven Bryan to play Campbell’s spot.
