  1. Really? By far WR1. Hope that Minnesota—who’s after a SB championship—trades a guy that they have repeatedly said they have no desire to trade isn’t a plan IMO.
  2. So you have a plan for everything except the team’s biggest need?
  3. I don’t know that it’s an attention stunt, but it’s definitely an ego move, and yes, I feel darn near certain he stays put.
  4. Wow! Tell your buddy that Des should come to Buffalo if he wants to become the best version of himself ?
  5. Yep... I think it’ll be Mack and Neal.
  6. They can sign at least 2 elite FAs—I’m talking $15M/year, plus another $10M/year player, and still have $50M left to sign draft picks, sign Tre White to a record-breaking deal, and pay Dion Dawkins and Matt Milano without cutting anyone.
  7. If Ruggs is there at 22 you try to beat his 40 time to the podium
  8. I don’t mean this as anything other than a question: why are you so offended by the FA market?
  9. PSA*** Mockdraftable comparables are up for WRs Some interesting ones... Jerry Jeudy to Adam Thielen Brandon Aiyuk to Nate Burleson Justin Jefferson to DeVante Parker Not sure I agree with that...I think that the majority of great running games in today’s league have at least one blazer. Ooh...Devin Duvernay draws a very strong comparison to Golden Tate and semi-strong to Lee Evans.
  10. Winning > cap space Ask the Chiefs how upset they are that they paid a combined $36M/year for Frank Clark and Sammy Watkins in FA and didn’t have a first round pick last year.
  11. It is? Didn't the 49ers prove that speed at RB kills? Moster ran a 4.34 Breida ran a 4.38 Coleman ran a 4.40 And you can look at many of the other top RBs in the NFL and notice the speed trend: McCaffrey - 4.48 Zeke - 4.47 Saquon - 4.40 Gurley (pre injury) - 4.40 Cook - 4.49 Sure, it’s not a hard and fast rule, but yes, speed absolutely matters in an era where LBs are running 4.5 flat.
  12. Well, I suppose if you’re looking for a good enough reason from an investment standpoint, you could argue that getting the 5th year option that’s incumbent upon first round contracts would be a reason. That said, I think this is a good year for the Bills to trade back, of which I’m typically not a fan. I usually like staying put, but assuming that the Bills are able to fill needs at WR, EDGE, and LB prior to the draft, moving down from 22 makes a ton of sense. Why? Because (a) they can stock up on picks that can be used to move back up from rounds 4-6 for more day 2 prospects, and (b) they’re in a very good draft slot to have leverage. I believe there will end up being between 18 and 21 first-round grades this season. Now I’m sure that some teams will have more and some will have less, and that those players with round 1 grades will differ among teams, but in general that’s what I expect. Picking at 22, the odds are very good that a team behind you will see the last 1-2 of their first-round-graded players on the board and want to move up. Assuming you’re comfortable with 4/5 guys there, you can slide back several spots, grab a 3rd, and take from your list. Then you’re in a position where you have 3 day-2 picks plus 5 picks in rounds 5/6 that you can use to move up. You could end up getting 6 players from the first 4 rounds if you play it right. Why? We have plenty of cap space to pay FAs.
  13. RB1, RB2, doesn’t matter. Point is that this team needs another legitimate backfield threat. I’ve been using the term a RB1b for what they need. Motor can take 15-20 carries per game; we need a guy that can take another 12-16 and be a threat to score on each of them. JMO
  14. I’ve got him in the 28-40 range at the moment. I think he’s got some scheme flexibility and that probably buys him a few draft slots.
  15. That’s an absolute abomination...but the Texans will do it because Bill O’Brien the GM wants to give Bill O’Brien the HC what Bill O’Brien the OC wants.
  16. I think Tre’s number is probably affixed at 16-16.5 unless something stupid occurs 3 weeks from now
  17. No...quoting one’s self is a tad more narcissistic.
  18. Henry Ruggs had a 1.47 10-yard split ?
  19. plenty of money to do both my friend!
  20. Appalachain State. He’s the Juiciest. I am disappointed that nobody has the 10 yard splits for RB/WR/TE. I want to see what guys like Mims, Claypool, Lamb, Jeudy, and Dillon did over the first 10.
  21. Agree on Taylor as RB1. I might be drinking the kool aid too much, so I have to give myself some time away from his video, but right now I want to make Darrynton Evans my RB3.
  22. Right. The purpose of moving back would be to position yourself so that you can trade up the board later.
  23. Darrynton Evans: 5’10” 203 lbs 40-yard dash: 4.41 VJ: 37”
  24. I wouldn’t go that far, but I do think that folks look at Singletary and think “he’s small, so we need a big guy”. Whereas I look at him and think “he can grind out tough yards and be a consistent workhorse, so we need a guy with some juice that is a threat to go the distance in every play”.
