Chase Claypool- I know you want to talk about him
thebandit27 replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
22 is a prime spot for a team that’s looking for that 5th OT. You can probably net a 3rd from a team like Seattle or Tennessee that is losing their RT in FA and needs a starter to make a SB run. -
Yeah, I’m going to have to tear up the Leake report and start over. Something doesn’t add up between the on-tape speed and the timed speed.
-
My word, this board has become obsessed with size.
-
My boy Darrynton Evans with a 4.42!!! now let’s see what Leake runs... Gah. Not good Javon Leake...4.65.
-
Agreed. Becton/Jedrick/Wirfs/Thomas are virtual locks. I bet Jones and Jackson sneak in too.
-
Like I said: if we believe that there’s 4/5 first round OTs, there will likely be 6.

How do Bills' past moves foretell the WR pick?
thebandit27 replied to GG's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
An average WR that lead the best offense in football in receiving yards in the playoffs? An average WR that managed over 1,000 yards on less than 100 targets with Tyrod Taylor at QB? He may not be worth his $21M cap hit, but an average WR3 he’s not. -

Nope. I promise that teams think about stopping him. Because when they don’t, things happen like what happened against Richard Sherman in the Super Bowl. -
I can promise you that teams are putting out bad press about CeeDee hoping he’ll drop.

Can the Bills land a good Edge in FA?
thebandit27 replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Addison is a very productive player that they could definitely land. Familiarity with McDermott and cap space are factors in our favor. -

Chiefs have Hill, Kelce, Watkins, and Williams in addition to Mahomes. You can say the same for teams like New Orleans, Minnesota, Seattle, LA Rams, Dallas, even Baltimore with Ingram and their 3-headed TE attack. All of them have multiple weapons that defenses need to account for aside from their QB. -
I think you always see at least 1 more OT in the first than “should” go; OTs are always in demand. Side note: rewatching these WR drills; I’m amazed at how skilled these kids are. Just incredible. CeeDee Lamb is amazing.

Think of it this way... On Buffalo’s offense, who do you look at and say “boy, if I don’t commit a significant portion of my game plan to stopping [ ], he’s going to kill me”? The only answer is Allen. Good offenses have multiple guys that you say that about. The Bills don’t need a size guy, speed guy, etc; they need multiple players that opponents have to make specific, concerted efforts to stop every time they’re in the field.- 38 replies

My boy Aiyuk is a first round pick all day. He’s on my list to get to next week. Along with several other corners line Arnette, Gladney, and Igby

Did Mims really break off a 6.66 3-come???

$15M sounds like a lot. Juwuan James got $13M last year as a RT, so Conklin is probably $13.5. I know Trent Brown got $16, but he was coming off of a year at LT for the SB champs. -
Jags unlikely to allow Yannick Ngakoue to test FA
thebandit27 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Correct. This is a case of overcomplicating a simple matter. He costs $22.5M in kept under his current contract and $2.5M if he’s not. -
Something about that sets off alarm bells with regard to Tua.

Whether he agrees with you or not, the cap reduction is $20M. First line of the article: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28779947/jaguars-decline-2020-option-defensive-tackle-marcell-dareus%3fplatform=amp -
When Mrs. Bandit texted me the “there’s 2 babies” message, I went from 1 under at the turn to hitting my next tee shot completely sideways ?
-
His 2nd attempt was 4.48...faster than I expected
-
I feel like you’ve got Lamb/Jeudy/Ruggs top-15. Then Jefferson/Aiyuk/Reagor late round 1. After that probably Hamler/Higgins/Laviska/Mims early-mid 2nd. Claypool is with a whole mess of guys that could round out day 2.
-
Agreed. I think he has value as a move/flex guy, but I’m thinking I’d rather have Mims if I’m going for a size/speed guy at WR.
-
Bad enough to fall?
-
My dude right there Reagor ran 4.47?
