  1. And Bradberry. They definitely want to have two excellent corners.
  2. No. Never know...the NFL loves safeties that can cover. That’s how a guy like Darnell Savage or Damarious Randall ends up in round 1. Plus, if a team can draft Jonathan Abram in round 1, anybody can go that high ?
  3. This...he’s a day 2 guy. Side note: James Bradberry is a name to watch in early FA.
  4. Remember the classic “who wants to apologize” threads? We need one of those for the group of us that have been calling PFF grades totally subjective for years now ?
  5. A speed back isn’t a reality? Tell that to the 49ers and their track-speed backfield with Coleman-Breida-Mostert
  6. Young, Chaisson, Baun, and Greenard
  7. I think the issue is that a power back doesn’t really bring a new dimension to the offense, whereas speed does. JMO of course...
  8. Devin ran a 4.66; that’s the opposite of a speed back. He averaged a solid 2.4 YPC post-contact, which ranked 13th among RBs. He also averaged a broken tackle every 7.6 rushing attempts; good for 5th in the league. He’s a banger with some elusiveness and great instincts; we need a home run threat to complement him.
  9. No, we need a speed back. Singletary can get the tough yards when he needs to; we need a guy that’s a threat to score whenever he touches the ball. Paging Javon Leake...
  10. Bowden is a guy that could be a better Taysom Hill than Taysom Hill IMO.
  11. As I said in the CF WR thread: Omar is the player that all of Bills Mafia wishes Duke Williams would be. Hodgins is, to me, another Geronimo Allison type. Not a bad thing at all.
  12. Done with pre-combine grades, and I currently have 19 first-round grades. Breakdown is: 3 QBs 1 RB 3 WRs 0 TEs 3 OTs 4 EDGE 2 IDL 1 CB 2 S
  13. I’m similar. Right now the top-3 are Lamb/JJ/Ruggs. Then a gap followed by: Jefferson Aiyuk Hamler Reagor another gap: Higgins Laviska another gap: Ty Johnson Pittman Van Jefferson Quartney Davis Isaiah Hodgins

  15. Agreed. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he has a very DK-like slide to the 50-65 area.
  16. Hah. I don’t normally get amped up from hype videos, but that one’s good.
  17. 2 thoughts here: 1) what 1st round pick hasn’t Beane gotten right in your opinion? 2) if Beane has a track record of not getting it right, doesn’t it make more sense to trade said pick for a known commodity?
  18. I may have a problem—I’ve watched this like 6 times.
  19. Not a chance of this. The Bears would have to want to trade Mack so badly that they actually absorb an additional $4M cap hit over and above Mack’s $26M hit just to trade him—and that’s AFTER trading 2 first round picks for him and giving him $132M. Just no.
  20. I suppose if you’re confident that you can get an immediate contributor in round 1, then yes, I would consider that leverage. Personally, no matter how confident I am in my abilities to evaluate prospects, I’m always going for the known quantity when I’m a team looking to compete for a title.
  21. The Brown NE throw was shown at the very beginning, and the Beasley/Dallas throw was shown from the EZ angle. But yes, watch again because awesome.
  22. Agreed. That they didn’t have the NE throw to Knox or the Houston throw to Devin was a surprise.
