  1. NFL.com profiles just went up: http://www.nfl.com/combine/participants#
  2. Those last 5 picks combined equal a late 4th per the old chart. On Rich Hill’s updated version, they equal a late 3rd. I suspect you’ll see them do something like a 4th plus two 6ths to move back into the 3rd. That would leave them with 1,2,3,3,5,5,6.
  3. Meh, I really don’t worry about that stuff. You can’t control who gets drafted in your division. If you do a good enough job of improving your team you’ll stay ahead of the competition.
  4. Happened in 2018 with the Jets, and they suck. Nothing to see until he proves something
  5. I wish DPJ were just a step faster, because I could see him becoming an Anquan Boldin type. As it stands, he’s probably a WR3, but I’d pound the table for him late on day 2.
  6. Disappointing slot corners fetch late firsts these days. ? A potential franchise QB that is a proven dual-threat that can score TDs from anywhere on the field probably nets a top 15 pick...I mean, Rosen brought a late 2nd in return and he showed absolutely nothing.
  7. High...but not so high that I wouldn’t pay it FWIW, I’ll back Kirby on that info being legit
  8. And Ford. In fact, I’ll go as far as saying that if Nsekhe didn’t re-injure his leg, he’s probably the RT on that play and we go to Baltimore.
  9. I really think he scores if Ford or Knox fit on Cunningham. Morse would’ve eaten the safety for lunch.
  10. A number of EDGE players could get traded, including any of: Chandler Jones Calais Campbell Von Miller Everson Griffen I also think there’s a better than fair chance that a RB or two move among Malcolm Brown and Gio Bernard.
  11. I can’t see Mike Brown doing anything that helps another team. That’s not him. We’re talking about the guy that nixed a trade that would’ve sent AJ Green out of town simply because he didn’t want Green to play for anyone else.
  12. Sign me up for Ruggs. Like right now.
  13. Last year was about stocking the roster with NFL-level talent; this year is about adding 3-4 legit superstars imo. Go big. Get Clowney. Get AJ Green. Get Byron Jones or Cory Littleton. Try to be so talented on offense that your QB has literally no excuse to fail.
  14. My real time reaction: “this is total horse ?. It’s a touchback. End of story. If they ruled a TD against the Bills in this scenario I’d be livid. They can’t really give us a TD for this, can they? Oh, ok, right. That would’ve been nuts.”
  15. Ah, the Mayfield Effect at work? Could be...haven’t had a chance to grind the video on Burrow yet. Just haven’t made QB the priority the last 2 offseasons.
  16. What are you talking about? To start, the article is from Cover 1, not the Bills, so I hardly see how it’s a damage control shot across the bow. Secondly, the team added nine—Nine!—new opening-day starters on offense in FA last offseason. What, precisely, are you tired of at this point?
  17. Pretty common for HCs to think this way. Belichick and Saban are famous for it. Also very common for a GM and HC to push each other on the “yeah-buts”...that’s how you grow in your thinking. And if there’s one thing that I love about this group, it’s that they aren’t afraid to change their approach.
  18. If I’m wanting a McKenzie replacement, I’ll wait for a guy like Quartney Davis in the 3rd—I really want a dynamic WR1 in rounds 1-2.
  19. I watched it several times. There are about 10 different critical plays that the Bills easily could’ve made, and didn’t, that resulted in that loss. Just off the top of my head: - Smoke drags his foot on a 3rd down sideline pass and we’ve got 1st and goal at the 3 instead of a FG attempt to go up 10 - Duke drops a TD pass that hit both hands, so instead of 17-0 it’s 13-0 - Ford whiffs badly on Watt and gets Allen sacked before he can hit the inside target (think it was Beasley—EDIT: it was Knox coming open at the 5 for a 1st down, not a TD), so it’s 16-0 instead of (possibly) 20-0 - Josh fumbles away the ball giving Houston their best field position of the day - Siran Neal drops an easy pick-6 that probably ices the game - Ford/Morse/Knox miss the easy block on Cunningham that probably leads Josh inside the 30 (at least) for a GW FG - Ford takes a PF penalty negating a chance for a GW 54-yard FG - Brutal execution on the 3rd and 18 in OT - Two defenders can’t tackle Watson on 2nd and 6, which leads to Taiwan Jones’ GW RAC
  20. He’ll probably be a good coach eventually; he carved out a career with the Chargers despite being an UDFA with a slight build. The try-hard types often make the best coaches.
  21. Yeah, that fumble he forced on Hopkins was brutal ?
  22. He was 10th in the NFL amongst WRs in YAC/reception.
  23. There’s no need to do that. They currently have $120M in space for 2021 without considering a cap rise. They can easily dole out $70M in FA contracts and another $10M for draft picks and still have $40-$50M available in 2021 for extensions and draft picks. And that’s without cutting anyone.
  24. Speaking of the combine, I predict that Denzel Mims will get the DK Metcalf “look at this freak” treatment
