  1. Well I’ve been talking about him before it was en vogue, and he’s still a big sleeper outside this board, so still a sleeper in my book I think the 3rd is a possibility too as I think after what BTJ did last year, with his size and speed, is only going to help increase his interest in this copy cat league. He’s not the same level of prospect, but teams are going to be very intrigued by his combo of size and speed I would think. That being said, seems low probability we will draft him as I haven’t seen or been able to find any links or confirmed meetings/calls with him and the Bills. Doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened, just hard to see Beane based on past drafts using a 4th on him if we haven’t met or spoken with him. So until I see we have, I’m unfortunately not expecting to hear his name called
  2. WR - Donte Thornton 6'5, 4.3 speed, and good hands. His tape shows untapped ability IMHO above just being a vertical threat...but even if he ends up just being mostly that, its what we lack in our WR room right now. I think he could be quite the weapon in Buffalo. I would be fine taking him with one of our 4ths, assuming we didn't take a WR earlier and he is still there. He is projected more as a 5th...but you can't coach size and speed, so I have a feeling he doesn't make it out of the 4th round.
  3. I dont think there is much chance we will actually draft Harris in this spot in the real drat, and I am not really sure why Harris is leading the vote here...he isn't exactly the type of WR we even need.
  4. Didn’t you say to stay put and take Revel and if he’s gone then trade down? &nbsp And he was there….so more you preferred trade down over Grant, not that trading down was your preferred choice, that would have been Revel correct?
  5. Yeah I tried moving up too as I was worried someone was gonna leap frog me for him. If saints come away with Mason at 9 and Dart at 40, that will be quite the value at both spots
  6. With the 40th pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints select: Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss We already had interest in Dart and considered making a move for him to come in and learn from Carr if he got into range. But with the unfortunate news about Carrs shoulder putting his season in jeopardy, we increased our efforts to unsuccessfully trade up near the top of the round. But once the board kept falling our way we decided to stand pat and trust our instincts and are thrilled to see him on the board. We love the combination of size and athletic ability that really makes him a modern dual threat type QB. Dart is coming off a college career full of eye popping performances, and we have admired his evolution from raw talent freshman to polished senior where he maintained his aggressive play style while reducing mistakes and turnover-worthy plays. We believe having someone like Carr to show him how to be a pro is only going to increase his potential and ability to reach it, and we look forward to getting him in here. We are thrilled to come out of these first 2 rounds landing great value at both the 9th pick, getting a top 5 prospect in DT Mason Graham, and now landing Dart at 40 without having to trade up. @gonzo1105 and the Bears are now on the clock... HIGHLIGHTS - Fun watch
  7. Can we throw you in then while we are at it? 😂
  8. I don’t think there is anyone on the board here worth that much and that’s a big over pay by the Bills too at the equivalent of a 4th round pick. Can’t see how this would make any sense for the Bills personally. Just my 2 cents Ha, all good…just yeah, that’s a big over pay by the Bills so just not personally a fan of us making that move and the not picking again until the 4th round.
  9. @frostbitmic I sent you a trade offer for this pick at 35
  10. Have to admit...I came in ready to insta-click Grant...but the option to trade back 4 spots to 34 is really appealing given who is still on this board. I think I still have to go Grant, but I woudln't hate a trade back either. Your Jets trade is incorrect...has us trading 109 to get back pick 109
  11. Oh yeah I get that, I was more just commenting about how you said you were surprised the trade up didn't get more interest...where I think the reason was likely the options in the poll were too expensive and lacked more appealing options using day 3 pick(s) to make a smaller move up. All good, these are fun regardless
  12. As I mentioned before, IMHO it was overwhelmingly no because the options were costly trade up’s and left off the more likely trade up possibilities where Beane makes a small trade up using something like a 4th, like he has done multiple times. I voted no for these reasons and I think you would have had more interest if there had been some of those options where we use one or even two day 3 picks to make a move up while holding onto both our 2nds. Big move ups are less appealing this draft and have less value as the draft is light on the top end, but deep in those later first through the 2nd round type players with a lot of people with similar grades. So value isn’t there for a big move (unless someone surprising falls) and a small move up or staying out is both more likely and more appealing.
  13. If the Giants were offering pick 34 for Cook, he would already be a Giant as Beane would fly him to NY himself for that. So I cant see that rumor as having any substance to it.
  14. It should have been death with 30 years ago.
  15. That has nothing to do with the fact his name is still hung on a wall where names are memorialized and celebrated for greatness. No he isn't, he is on the wall still for all to see. That doesn't mean having him on the wall for over 30 years since the murders wasn't a mistake. He murdered them over 30 years ago, not 15. He was a real monster who had a record of beating his wife before he also brutally murdered her and others. What he did on the football is now irrelevant. If Hitler was a soccer star before a monster, you wouldn't still have his name enshrined on stadiums. Another irrelevant comment...just because the degree of how they celebrate him vs other guys is different does not excuse the fact they are still allowing some sort of celebration of his legacy. My father was murdered when I was 18 years old. If some football stadium still had his killers name on the wall I would be disgusted and outraged. Leaving his name memorialized on the wall IS still celebrating and honoring him as a player when he no longer is worth of such an honor. If that was your daughter he killed, how would you feel about his name still being immortalized on the stadium for the past 30 years?
  16. Winner winner chicken dinner...you sir win the internet today. Nicely done, I laughed out loud
  17. Yeah I can see how this would make sense for the Giants, especially if they land Carter. And I can see how this could appeal to the Bears too if this trade went down given who is on the board, although we don't often see teams move that far back either, so would come down to how they value Thibs internally.
  18. This is one of the trade offers I turned down at 9 because I didn't feel I could pass on Graham when he fell to 9. Main thing for me is that I am not as high on Thibodeaux as some, so his value isn't a 2nd rounder for me personally as I think he is a bit over rated. And that led to the value just not being enough there for me to pass on Graham and then drop to 34. But it was a solid offer from Kirby, just Graham was too much value at 9 to move out of the pick when he fell in the Saints lap.
  19. With the 9th pick in the 2025 NFL draft, the New Orleans Saints select: Mason Graham, DT, Michigan CLICK HERE FOR HIGHLIGHTS We didn't expect Mason to be here for us, but we met with him anyway on the off chance the board fell in a way where he had a chance to grab him. While we considered 2 trade back offers, the value just wasn't quite there for us to pass up the opportunity to take what we feel is a top 5 player in this draft and a guy we can plug in next to Bresee to form a menacing duo for years to come on our DL. We just love his athletic ability, he is a guy that just wins in the trenches with an elite first step and high motor. We thank the teams for their valid and worthy offers, but the chance to take him was too strong and we couldn't be more thrilled with how this board fell. @gonzo1105 and the Bears are now on the clock.
  20. The Saints have some plans at pick 9, but depending on how the board continues to fall, we could be open to considering a trade back...so we are putting that out there ahead of our pick that will likely be later today. DM to discuss.
  21. You would have to trade the equivalent of "Josh Allen" to get him...in other words, the kind of draft package that would be for a major QB move. To get what? A WR for a team that runs an offense that isn't going to feature a feed the ball Alpha receiver? Or a CB in a draft where there will be very good DB prospects gettable at or near our pick without giving up a bounty? No disrespect bud, but there isn't anything about this that makes sense. In fact, if the Bills were going to gut their draft capital this year and next at the very least, Abdul Carter would be a more logical target, and even then it would cost so much that its still not realistic. So I would mark this down as essentially impossible.
  22. I think the biggest issue, at least it was for me, is you only presented costly trade up options and left off what Beane has done multiple times before such as a 1st and a 4th for a smaller move up. I think that is a lot more likely than us using a first and a 2nd. We don't have a 3rd, I would be surprised a bit if Beane used one of our 2nd's to move up while we don't have a 3rd. I think if we trade up it will more likely be a smaller move up using our depth of picks on day 3.
  23. Bears please...if not, I guess Saints or Chargers
  24. With the 101st pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, the Los Angeles Rams select: Quincy Riley, DB, Louisville CLICK HERE FOR HIGHLIGHTS We are thrilled to see Quincy still here after we considered him earlier this round. He brings elite ball skills and was the best DB on the field at the Sr. Bowl. We love his potential at nickel to help bolster our 26th ranked pass D, but we also think, despite his size, he can play some outside as well. @TOboy and the he Lions are now on the clock.
