He is a very tough call for the Bills because his play has ranged from outstanding to fair. He looked to play unmotivated this year which is very concerning. He could easily join a loing and growing list of guys who hit a big payday in FA and then never play up to their potential again. I really think the Bills let him walk.

Cowher has been very open in his comments about balance in life. It seems to me that a HC job is a meat grinder. Great pay but you are owned by your job if that is what you do for a living.

If the Bills can do this at least they get something out of the Taylor exit.

The analysis also sets aside the impact of having to play NE twice a year. Face it - with a healthy Brady the Cheats have essentially owned the Bills for two games each year. It's hard to climb out of the 7-9 or 8-8 jail when you know there is a 0-2 climb up in the other 14 games.

I continue to marvel at how people hold this statistic out as a way to suggest that there are not serious problems with the Bill's offense. This offense could not impose its will on any defense at times when they could have won the game. It's that simple. Many of the points they scored were in garbage time. This offense and Tyrod consistently fail to win games when they are behind and have the ball in their hands and can do so. Look at the W-L record, look at how the team plays from behind, look what they can do when the running game is taken away.

How about the fact that this offense did not score at the end of games when they needed to do so to win? Sorry but those of you hanging on to the idea that somehow this offense is a real threat to opponents need to wake up. Take away the running game and this offense falls down like a house of cards because Tyrod is inaccurate and he has severe limitations in what parts of the field he can reliably throw to. Tyrod and this offense are not the answer.
