To me the underlying story is that the bias against Josh that came up in the draft lingers even now. Add to that, Buffalo is a small market team that seems to get much of its attention for the stupid act of slamming oneself through cheap tables. At least there has been some attention given to the phenomenal generosity of the Bill’s fan base.

Yet, purely by the numbers JA is not as good this year as compared to last year. In a weird way, this is a very good thing. The Bill’s fate does not hang entirely on Josh’s howitzer of an arm or his ability to scramble. Josh can play human like and not super human like and this D will take care of the rest. Additionally the Bills ground game is showing signs of life. Keep on enjoying the ride.

Costco’s (Kirkland’s) chicken noodle soup is very good stuff. Forget about tomato soup.

I almost hate all of this hype. You have to hope the players ignore it. Getting to the SB much less winning it is such a rarity. There is a ton of season left.

I agree with you mostly, the only nuance is that Josh is not a 2 second release QB. Some QB’s stay out of sack trouble because the ball is out of their hand very quickly on nearly every passing play.

Isn’t it sweet that the story this year is not about Josh Allen and the offense? Seriously, JA and the offense are worthy of the attention but this D - they’re simply lights out so far this season. Let’s hope they keep it up.
