  1. Don’t kill our pastime…. In what other way are we to have fun?
  2. Jags seem like they are going to put themselves in salary cap hell.
  3. @mrags has stayed? happy birthday 🎊🎂
  4. Bates Played well enough for the Bills to want to retain him - good move.
  5. Well, you let me walk and I said I did not need a penny over $3,999,999.
  6. No, he has no say whatsoever.
  7. Good to hear there are nuggets of positive developments in the midst of a very difficult situation.
  8. This ^^^^ the Bills have limited cap space. (Setting aside restructuring opportunities). To me, FA is about finding value for need, not making a splash. The draft is more critical to the Bills because it is the best way to manage the cap and to build for the future.
  9. The 4.39 was supposedly in H.S. - not measured by any source considered NFL worthy. Borghi graded as “bottom of roster worthy”
  10. Love the title …
  11. He must really like football to do this.
  12. Yes, there are restructuring options and possible cuts but; one, Beane is not splashy in the FA period; two, the Bills have no cap space; three, the Pegula’s do not appear to be meddling owners worried about ticket sales. These factors make it highly unlikely that the Bills make a big FA splash. The only way they land somebody “big” is if that person gives the Bills a sweetheart contract because they want a chance to win the Lombardi.
  13. Limeaid, so sorry to hear this, it sounds like a nightmare come suddenly true. Prayers are offered and hopefully he pulls through.
  14. When you are wrong - you’re wrong when you are right - you’re wrong as a matter of fact, when you are right, you’re more wrong than if you had just been wrong in the first place
  15. Linky not worky So, how do we know that Pooj did not do this?
  16. Yeah, the Watkins deal was one of the most headshaking moments in Bills lore. Beane and crew have been much smarter in their moves. However, they are not 100% either.
  17. To your points, it’s really hard to say. We may all be surprised. I did not see them picking Groot last year and certainly did not see Basham as rd #2 pick on top of that. The Bills may get lucky with the BPA at #25. While I hardly doubt it will happen, it would also not shock me if they went interior o line at #25.
  18. Really deep class so I think Bills go CB rd 1 and WR Rd 2 - I am not sold that Williams is a lock for the Bills. He is not likely to strongly contribute this year given he is coming off of injury. It’s also telling that He could not break through at Ohio. Finally, he is known to take plays off which does not fit well with the type of player Buffalo is after. Yes, the locker room atmosphere may help with the latter issue but the Bills look for talent and work ethic.
  19. Sadly, it was a shamrock shake that confirmed for me that I am lactose intolerant. I loved those things. If I an unexpectedly in a situation where I get a last meal before frying in the electric chair, I will have a shamrock shake as one of my beverage choices (assuming the authorities give me more than one, I will mull over single barrel bourbon choices in my cell before settling on a final selection).
  20. At this point in the voting I stand alone in this thought but I think there is a 50/50 chance for a trade and Willis goes first. Hard to imagine the overall #1 pick being used on a position other than QB these days. I do agree with the second most popular choice that if the pick is not a QB then logically DE makes the most sense in terms of positions selected at the top of the draft.
  21. The problem with you position is that WR’s rarely make a big contribution year #1. The Bills also have very strong need for another QB and an OG. They could draft two WR’s though I doubt they will.
