  1. Move up? Maybe but the Bills have 10 picks and nowhere near that many roster spots truly open to contention so who cares if you get the guys
  2. While not thrilled at the time the biggest knocks I hear are non-issues for me: He can only play outside? Well it's a good thing we are loaded with nickel and dime DBs He's bad at run defense? I don't want my outside CBs tackling Derrick Henry. Something else has gone wrong in that case. He isn't the best tackler because he's so light, he just hurls himself at the ball carrier? Ok, bit of a problem but that can get coached up and again I don't want him on big bodied guys The only hurdle I see is height, which is an issue but is mitigated by an elite vertical jump. Other than that you have someone with 99th percentile speed, led the SEC in INTs in 2024, who can play zone and man, and is excited to be here
  3. It's the standard I want so I better live up to it Besides *Shakes bottle of pills* The docs say they'll lock me up if I don't stay on the meds. I don't know what for, I just told them I was a drought era Bills fan
  4. I could if the player was a true 3 down pocket disruptor like a prime Fletcher Cox and that's what I hoped we'd get in Grant But you're right that if what we want is a 2 gapping run stuffed so Oliver, Groot and Bosa can tee off then there are still options to be had
  5. I will be irrationally upset to make the board normal again! *Ahem* I'm not in love with it. I don't think CB was the dire need people have painted it, and I would have much preferred someone in the trenches. That said, DL was pretty picked over and Golden & Starks were gone. With a major drop on CBs, Hairston is probably darn close to BPA and *does* fill *a* need, even if it's not as critical as I think some believe it to be. That said, a three way battle of Hairston-Tre-Dane for the CB2-4 rankings seems to make is one of the deepest CB groups in the league
  6. RB? Ok 2 running backs in the 1st?
  7. Golden, Harmon and Starks I saw as likely 15-20 picks and still no CB. Someone good is going to be close to 30
  8. Has a single dedicated DB gone yet? There's some opportunity if the trend holds for a bit
  9. Nooooo were going to get into the pick count debate again! Run you fools run!
  10. I mean it just begs to have "funny that's what I had to say to (target's loved one) last night"
  11. If I wanted an aging CB with a recent injury history I would sign Tre White *checks board* Oh welcome back Tre!
  12. I think the Bills take a CB with one of their first 3 picks and Beane is a wizard at late round finds. But there is a CB depth problem through the entire NFL. Levi Wallace and Dane Jackson at CB2 is the norm not the exception. Why not kick the tires
  13. Completely agree. I have come to grudgingly respect that he has some brilliant play designs. He gets the most out of players there and he has some brilliant offensive players. But managing a team? Vic Fangio got the boot only to one year later but on a dominating defensive outing against the Chiefs in the Superbowl. Managing a roster? The team is incredibly top heavy on aging vets and players with injury concerns. They are bottom five on cap for 2025 at the moment. But damningly the man has Andy Reid syndrome when it comes to playcalling. I keep going back to the regular season finale in 2023 with the division on the line. He had Mostert and Achane line up in the backfield and had Tua effectively run a read option to do a pop handoff. With the Bills playing back to limit Hill and Waddle the Bills were gashed on the ground. It was exploiting an inherent weakness to our lighter middle and deep safeties . And then he stopped calling it. He kept Tua slinging it even as the game was never out of hand. And Tua kept forcing it and got picked off to deal the game
  14. I truly and honestly think Sanders is only getting this amount of buzz bevause of his dad. Otherwise likely a day 2 pick
  15. Yeah that's where I am. Do I think Milton is going to set the league on fire? Lol no Do I think he's an entertaining project who has an outside chance of sticking around? Maybe. And for the low low cost he's locked in for, what are you getting better for in 5th rounder?
  16. Look if he wants to come back on the cheap I will happily have him back to compete with a rookie, Jackson and Ingram
  17. Why would he do that he already owns them
  18. As much as I wanted a big free agency splash, tying up 4/5 of the draft picks we hit on and locking them in under market rate is a strong long term move. We will see about Cook. If anything, there is the franchise tag
  19. I'm not going to make grand promises about the guy but he looks like the kind of player McDermott has made look good. I try to remember that Hyde and Porter weren't some superstar acquisitions. They were solid journeymen who shone paired together in the scheme.
  20. They already had paid out a signing bonus so I think that amount will still be applied
