9/7/25 GAMEDAY Thread Home Opener Bills vs Ravens SNF
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly I think there's odds he is a healthy scratch. I was listening to the Cover One preview and right now the Ravens biggest D weakness is boundary corner. I can see attacking a lot with Moore because he has that vert speed -

It appears Large Scale Doom might have been too generous a prediction for the Dolphins -

All caveats apply with Week 1 being a liar. But if Miami is having problems with Indy we might be looking at Large Scale Doom in South Beach -

I'm pretty high on the young players in general but I think Walker might be something special. -

Honestly I'm with you. I'm very high on the Bills young players but they definitely didn't seem ready in preseason. Baltimore is a good team and their playstyle is a natural counter to ours. This is what I'm telling myself: KC just lost and will likely be without their best receivers while the play Philly, Baltimore and Detroit. Baltimore is notorious for being their own worst enemy and are in the most competitive division in the conference. I want the Bills to win. I think they *can* win. But if they don't tonight they have until November until the next time they face a team that has a winning record in 2024 to road test a young roster, and bring back people from suspension and injury. It's giving me a surprising amount of calm that I am sure will vanish the moment the refs hose us on a call -
I'd argue it's a quintessential Elam performance: impressive athleticism and playmaking ability interspersed with giving up huge plays

Illegal Streaming Site Streameast Taken Down
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. But you can listen to the live streams and time it with RedZone, then once the game is over I can replay it. If I am missing it it's because I'm taking care of the kids and I can watch the full thing when I want that night. -
Illegal Streaming Site Streameast Taken Down
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
To this point, one of the things that has come out of released NFL documents is that the league has had several opportunities to move to host their own affordable and legal streaming service. Hell, they operate NFL+ and stream Redzone. We know they have the capacity. They don't want to do it. They want their product to be a premium subscription like HBO and conveniently seem to miss how that's going right now Honestly, I've made my peace with it for now. I know I evangelize NFL+ Premium, but I legitimately enjoy the radio stream more than some of the TV announcers and matched with RedZone I sometimes actually feel like I know what's happening better. I'm looking at less than a third of games at the 1 pm slot, and the Bills are a major draw at the 4 pm time not to mention all the primetime. I don't *need* to pirate right now But I'm not going to say boo to anyone who does -
Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Guys it's football week! -
Honestly that would explain why he was getting turfed so much in preseason. It's a shame but TJ and Walker seem more than capable to fill in

Maybe I'm crazy but I actually think they look cool. Scratch that. I'm DEFINITELY crazy because I'm on here but I still think they look cool.

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to GASabresIUFan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly my biggest surprise is both Shavers and Moore. I know they have very different skill set but I thought it would be one or the other -
I'm a little surprised that they kept both Shavers and Moore. I know theyre very different players

Do we have any word at all on the final roster?

Chargers release safety Tony Jefferson
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know most people here would blanch at safety in the first round but I really think we need an elevation there. -
For me the biggest surprise that Gore is still there. I mean hells yeah, let's have a stable but RB4 seems like an easy one. Maybe they are going to try to stash him with the extra spots and then waive him when guys return because rosters are set
-
Honestly he earned it

Cook signed👀 - 4 / 48 / 30 mil guaranteed
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I also wouldn't rule out something like a Curtis Samuel trade for cap dump. If I read the math right trading him would free up $7 million and be the roster spot that we use to keep Shavers and we swap late round picks -
Joe Marino’s All 22 from Bucs preseason game
WhitewalkerInPhilly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
Look if we are going to get nitpicky, how is Walker looking at taking over a spot compared to every other rookie? Hairston was duking it out with Tre before he got hurt. Sanders is the closest and is still well behind Oliver for the spot. He's spent a lot of time on the turf Landon Jackson had some tough early preseason moments. Everyone else is depth right now. This isn't to be Debbie Downer on our rookies. I think you are going to see upgrades on a roster that was already very good by the end of the year. But for all the very real flaws I think Walker is the closest to breaking out -

Good section on Walker. He seems to do better on Man rush concept than zone but he was able to quasi 2 gap. It reminds me a bit of Fletcher Cox -

His ceiling was always enormous. He walked talked up as a 1st round pick in 2023 before his injury. I don't think he'll ever be a run stuffer but if he can draw doubles that would be fantastic. I think there's very good chance that those two will be out starting interior by 2027 -

I'd say so. Don't get me wrong, I like Sander's potential and he's filling the shoes of Ed Oliver instead of DaQuan (who I like but is a journeyman at the end of his career for a reason) but at this point I think Walker is more starter ready. -

I fully expect Walker to slowly get phased in, but with Larry O on suspension to start the year I think Walker has earned a shot as the second rotation and I think we are looking at DaQuan's replacement/upgrade. Even being a solid starter in year 2 would be a massive steal for a 4th rounder, and I think he has the potential to be even more. -
Honestly in the spring time I thought he was a lock. Not necessarily to crack a starting role but we were so short at WR, especially one who could play vertical. Early signs were incredibly positive at OTAs. There was absolutely a lane. And then Moore washed out in training camp and Coleman has had, by multiple accounts, one of the best camps out of anyone. So yeah I think there's a real possibility
