  1. I have to think it's for a trade. There is zero reason to do so otherwise.
  2. you're not wrong but if you told us that we'd get two Super Bowl wins within a decade we'd take that trade and throw in a kidney for good measure Well not *my* kidney. I see plenty of good kidneys every day (cow in case you think I'm that crazy)
  3. At this point it's happened enough times that I can't dismiss it as "player is being nice looking at his next contract" Amari Cooper is notorious for being reserved and he still cracked smiles and made some jokes. If you're a journeyman vet who isn't getting the kinds of offers you expect, the Bills are an attractive offer to take a short term deal for your resume. This would have been inconceivable during the Drought
  4. I've been thinking about this a lot. Obviously, I want the Bills to be the #1 Seed and comfortably win every game including the Super Bowl. Every game counts. Buuuuuut if you told me before the season that if there was an offer for fluky BS that would result in the Bills taking a Wild Card slot but the Ravens and Patriots missing the playoffs I would do it in a heartbeat. With due respect to the Patriots, Broncos, Colts and Chargers who are playing excellent football right now, I know who I want as my QB and none of them have anyone like Josh never mind Mahomes or Lamar. I have a hard time imagining Daniel Jones of all people playing mistake free football in January. Come on I didn't need to know that about Kelce
  5. I have to say: I can't fully express the relied I feel at finally getting a bunch of the younger players going. While there are some disappointments (c'mon Keon) this finally feels like the Kincaid and Bishop we were supposed to get when we drafted them. Hairston has immediately contributed and when you factor in the lottery hits that are Walker and Hawes the team is getting a young core again.
  6. this is exactly what I envisioned doing to him. this is the most consistent formula I've seen for making him mortal
  7. I know we have to take care of our own business but, um, I'm looking at the Chiefs remaining schedule: Broncos x2 Chargers rematch Colts Texans I see a lot of chances for these guys to beat up on each other
  8. Bishop. I saw someone say that the first half was the best safety play we've had in years and I have to agree. Hairston is great too pretty much shutting down Worthy and that great INT
  9. I'm looking for the Cole Bishop apology form
  10. got away with one there and damn it Hoecht!
  11. oh no they have us right where they want us
  12. I don't think that's an exaggeration. I know we got spoiled by Hyde and Poyer coming in as journeymen and being very good but that was play that took me back to those days
  13. I'd be thrilled. I've been getting worried about him but this would be a great moment to break out
  14. I'll be honest I've been hard on Bishop but the last two weeks have shown the potential that had him called the best Pure safety in his draft class pure, not pyrex ducking autocorrect
  15. well that +1000 Ty Johnson TD prop is rarely one I regret
  16. I cannot take these refs seriously if that's how they call holding
  17. well he's buried in Canton. COINCIDENCE?!??! Well yes but it won't hurt
