  1. I donated, but I feel bad that I haven't done the same for food banks in Niagara Falls (my home town) or Buffalo. I guess those are next on my list.
  2. Reminds me of the self-serving bozo who suggested in 2010 that fans invest in bonds to help a future owner finance the purchase of the team. Back then, when everyone was totally convinced that the team would be moved to God-knows-where, this knucklehead suggested that fans basically give their money to a prospective buyer. From the Buffalo News: "Under ... the plan, fans would loan money to the next owner of the Buffalo Bills by purchasing low-interest bonds -- called Bills Bonds -- that would reduce a new owner's often-choking interest payments."
  3. Save as much as you can. Spend as little as you can. Vanguard or Fidelity are good places to start stashing your money.
  4. I have no issues with getting WGR audio on my computer. Well, actually, I do have issues with Schopp and the Bulldog. But that's programming and not reception.
  5. Good lord, you're so freaking smart.
  6. I'm sure he loves his mother.
  7. It does. You just don't understand it.
  8. Well it offends me MoFo.
  9. Can you point us to a document that supports your claim? How about if we call them the Dumb Polacks
  10. I'm with you. I thought she was more than acceptable.
  11. There are two high school classmates (class of 1968) I still maintain regular contact with. Several more are FB friends. There are about a dozen college classmates who still get together on a semi-regular basis.
  12. I'm not sure the Belichick vs. Brady argument will ever die a natural death, but here's an interesting look at the Belichick-Brady dynamic. There is an undercurrent of thought that the pair were ideally suited to creating a dynasty. The two created an insurmountable opponent, they managed to dominate the NFL for two decades. However, that's about to change: "Brady’s pewter-clad arrival at Gillette Stadium, the place where he won 20 playoff games and raised six Super Bowl banners, will provide a visceral reminder of the biggest decision Belichick got wrong." Ultimately, the author assumes Brady will win Sunday's game, and pins the blame on Belichick for letting Brady go too early and for placing his need for "legacy" and "hierarchy" over the continued success of the team (i.e. Brady's ability to attract high-profile free agents). https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/09/30/bill-belichick-legacy-tom-brady/
  13. During the drought I would record the games and work in the yard. At 4 p.m., I'd check the score. If they won, I'd sit down and watch the recording. If they lost, I'd simply delete the recording and move on the late afternoon game. In 2019 I started watching more of the games live. Last year, I watched all of them live. I plan to watch 'em all live this year, too.
  14. No such problems here in the Virginia suburbs of Washington, DC. I'm a DirecTV customer.
  15. Why don't you float that idea to Atlanta's Terry Fontenot? And while you're at it, ask him if he's got two $20s for a $10.
  16. Maybe eight years ago!
  17. I have a birthday party to attend, so I'll record the game and watch it later tonight.
  18. Sorry, dude. We're always in English class. English is our language. Learn it.
  19. That's the sad truth. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us.
  20. You do know that Jimmy Dore is a comedian? He's not a reputable news source? Oh, you don't. Sorry. You have no credibility.
  21. Why is it that the audio and video don's sync? Could it be that Dinesh Douchebag is a trumpaholic who doctors videos for the simple-minded?
  22. Living in Northern Virginia, the most logical options would be the Washington Football Team or the Ravens. I have no interest in either team. So I'll satisfy myself by watching CFL on TV ... assuming they have a season.
  23. I think the Washington Post is an excellent newspaper.
