That looked like the same UGA defense that got beat against Bama in the SEC championship game last year. They weren’t able to get pressure for most of the game from their Dline. OSU looked very prepared and focused.

Not so sure I agree totally. I think the Jets probably have a more complete D due to their boundary corners. Bengals D is legit.

Did you read the article in the Athletic about Cincy’s D Cord? The article starts w a quote from Anarumo about Josh’s last pass against the Jets in the first game. Made me think they are studying what the Jets did, since the Jets statistically had the best success against the Bills. I do agree that the Bills and Josh made some mistakes they wish they could have back.

The more I listen to Bengal beat reporters talk about Cincinnati’s D, I think we are going to need a big game from Davis and hopefully Diggs. I say Davis because to this point his play has been erratic and think he will be left one on one. Diggs will be bracketed a lot if I had to bet. The Bengal’s D is built from inside out. Dline is stout with Reader and Hill, linebackers of Wilson & Davis-Gaither are like our two LB’s, and then the safety duo of Bell and Bates is very good. Hilton is a phenomenal slot corner. The weakness is Eli Apple (yes that Eli Apple)and Taylor-Britt (rookie). Need to find ways to get outside on this D. Sounds like the DC for Cinci is looking hard at what the Jets D did to Allen and the Bills.

The only team that beats Buffalo is Buffalo. Like Josh says, “make no mistake, it’s about us”. If they prepare and are locked in, I don’t see them losing to anyone. Bills “A” game verse any other teams “A” game is a Bills victory.

It can’t hurt to have Crowder healthy. One injury away from needing him big time. My hope or thought is that the Bills know what Beasley can do and have already flashed it. The 2-15 catch against Chicago for 9 yards was vintage Bease. I am waiting for the game against a zone coverage team where Cole goes for like 8 catches 75 yards and a TD.

I have to push back on you saying it is ironic how posters here are critical of the way Miami has been handling Tua’s concussions. In fact, go use your timeline of how Morse’s concussions have been handled. He never played in the next game or later in the same game. A person’s health is first and foremost the most important thing. Miami seems to take a “don’t ask/don’t tell approach” when it comes to concussions and their starting QB.

Agree on Hyde. I think Crowder could be a great addition as well though. I think Crowder and Allen were just about to get some chemistry going when the injury occurred. Either way it’s nice to see guys working to get back to contribute, another injury to another player is always possible.

The fact those two players are working at all is very telling. Players who have shut it down for the season aren’t doing what Crowder and Hyde are doing. Both are Vets and realize how special this opportunity is to win it all. Hyde and Crowder could be big additions to this team. It’s about time we get a player back for a big game and it gives us a boost. Thinking about the Houston playoff game in 2019 when Watt came back. His presence mattered as much as his play. I think he had one sack during the Texans comeback in the second half.
