    I have a hard time separating my feelings about Steve as a player and Steve as a broadcaster. You had to live through it to understand how good he was on coverage special teams. It was ridiculous.

    The most you can hope for is that they will emerge as a reliable backup. Take test run starter 2nd rounder Todd Collins of the Bills. After the Bills cut ties he became the long term backup in Washington and sat on the bench. Then a decade later he was called upon to start and miraculously led the team on a great late season run.

    That’s right. If the trade up cost to get Rosen or the high risk Allen would be too high why not just draft Rudolph late in the first or early in the second. In many ways we was a more proven prospect than Allen anyway.

    I hate to say it but this really tarnishes Brees’s legacy. He let them mortgage their future for one more shot and yet he knew he was incapable of throwing 15 yards downfield. He should restructure and work for the league minimum as their backup/bridge for a few years.

    add to that Kenneth Davis who was a #1 quality back if he ever needed to carry the load, but would “only” chip in 8-12 carries and a few important receptions a game.

    I’m more comfortable putting every play in Josh’s hands like last week. He does not need a running game, only the wind slowed him down but he won again and played error free.

    Yeah, I really liked obsessing over next years draft by late November, but there is a price for everything. Deal with it.

    With devilish winds and no running game, they put their full trust in the arm of their young superstar every play and he delivered the victory. Incredible.

    I’m tuning in just to hear “The winner here faces Buffalo next week in the AFC Championship” over and over. It never gets old.

    The Loch Ness monster, Big Foot, Aliens land from another planet, Bills in AFC championship. All seem to be about the same to me, and I am having a tough time processing that the last one is actually true.

    Loved Josh’s interview regarding that game saying that he did not do enough earlier in the season to show that the organization should put the game in his hands when they had the lead. It was up to him to do more so that the organization would trust him more. This year he’s going deep down field with a 14 point lead with 5 minutes left. So they took it a little too far...

    Johnson has been a ball hawk since he cracked the lineup. He’s not supposed to be fast per his combine time but he sure looked fast on that play

    Josh’s arm should give him an advantage in a wind game at orchard park but not with passing game featuring long shots down field. He will figure it out over the years.
