  1. Past hour
  2. George Pickens had the most flukish 1,000 yard season I’ve ever seen. Had only 5 100 yard games including one at 195 but also had 7 games under 50 yards. It was very boom or bust with him
  3. I'd never heard of Williams before about 10 minutes ago. Does anyone have an info on him other than that he played with Denver a few seasons and then one with Carolina (surprise, surprise)? Has anyone seen him play and make an impact on a game? He looks to me like a camp body that could make the team as a rotational player or could just as easily be beaten out by a rookie and cut during camp.
  4. I think that is fair. I too think that is where most of the attrition will come from as a lot of them are long term people. I think your numbers are fair too. With 10 years to finance them, those will get snatched up in no time. We are hearing from the vocal minority now. If you have seats, in the lower level, at like the goal line, and they tell you it’s $7500 PSL, what percentage is REALLY walking away? It’s less than 15%. They can easily replace that. We aren’t hearing from the 85% that are buying them immediately. (Those are conservative guesses by the way. It could easily be north of 90%).
  5. Ironic considering Florida is much worse. In Panama and Costa Rica you get the beautiful locale and low cost of living without the oppression and nonsense in Florida.
  6. 2022: 2nd rd picks GEORGE PICKENS (1941 yards in 2 seasons including 1140 last year); plus Christian Watson (an emerging star if he can stay healthy) and Alec Pierce, plus Romeo Dobbs in the 4th and Shakir in the 5th 2021: the 2nd rd was not great but Elijah Moore is a solid player from the 2nd, Josh Palmer is good from the 3rd, Nico Collins from the 3rd is an emerging star and Amon St Brown from the 4th is a huge star already. 2020: Did you forget Michael Pittman in the 2nd rd? Davis and Mooney were good later round picks. 2019: Deebo Samuel, AJ Brown & DK Metcalf were all 2nd rd picks. Diontae Johnson and Terry McLaurin went in the 3rd

  8. But that 1 person is the only person that it matters to. In regards to the decisions being made.
  9. Asking that question means that you are just another one of the lemmings who think that maybe, just maybe, Beane and McDermott actually might know what they're doing. Watching Russ Brandon trade away All Pro LT Jason Peters and replacing him with waiver-wire refugees in 2009 convinced me of the importance of having a solid OL. I think it was 2 or 3 years before the Bills got around to even drafting an actual LT. Prioritizing need over talent sets up a team for failure. A team like the Bills has to make its high draft picks count because the draft is the best place to find the difference makers they need. If there's a WR and/or DE as well as a C on the board that the Bills have graded as first round talents, they should take the one they think is likely to become a stud. If there's a first round C on the board but none of the WRs or DEs left are close to his quality, it's a no-brainer to take the C. Maurkise Pouncey went to the Stillers at #18 in 2010. Nine times Pro Bowler, 2 time All Pro. He retired after the 2020 season. The only season he failed to make the Pro Bowl was the season he suffered a season-ending injury in the opening game of the season. He came back the next season to be selected All Pro a second time.
  10. I just hope that Williams has close to zero guaranteed money (like Toohill, unlike Morrow), so he can be easily cut when we keep 5-6th round rookie.

  12. Hahaha I still enjoyed the ride of reading your “logic” 😂
  13. I've never really put too much weight into the changes that will be going on with the club seats but to me the biggest concern would have to be the changing demographics in the 100 level seats. I know those seats won't have $50K PSL's but I'm anticipating them to be anywhere from $5K-$10K depending on where in the 100 level and that will be enough to steer a decent amount of people away. I'm not just pulling that out of thin air. There are tons of Bills fan groups and pages and accounts on Facebook and Twitter filled with long-time season ticket holders in that area that say they are ready to walk away if the PSL's are going to be that much. Sure some of them may end up buying tickets in the nosebleeds and end zones(which I don't think the PSL's will be too bad there) but it is going to create a logjam of fans fighting over those seats that won't be able to keep their current seating area in the new stadium. Am I wrong to expect this to be the case?
  14. Yeah when I say muddled I mean different skill sets and styles. Outside the top 4 the next 6-7 guys vary greatly by the eye of the beholder and by what traits people like more and all have cases for where they should rank amongst them.
  15. I actually will look that up, because I DO like Greg Cosell, and I currently DON'T like AD Mitchell.
  16. How many posts have you shat out with literally not 1 constructive thing to say? Just grumpy old man bitching is all you are capable of. It's humorous to think you see yourself as a constructive poster that you can critique others.
  17. Not everyone likes him, but I would not pass on Mitchell at #28. Don't know if you have an opinion on Greg Cosell, but I think he is an excellent analyst. You should look up his take on Mitchell.
  18. They have Tastycake products here in Florida. They're great!
  19. Definitely at least as good as LY, on paper. I'd expect we get better output than Phillips/Settle/Ford. But the bar is low, those 3 guys didn't do much. I still expect a DT to be drafted. We've ignored that for years now, and at least someone to push for the backup 3T. Beane doing his thing, get gaps filled prior to the draft. Now he can focus on BPA. WR & pass rusher, still our biggest areas that we can improve/biggest impact. Going to be interesting how things play out at 28. Depends if Latu is still sitting around mid- 20s, I think they have alot of names at X-receiver that will be value at 28. Problem is what type of run on WRs will happen in early R2. If we go DE in first, I'd certainly expect a trade up into the 40s for a WR
  20. Yeah I do agree and agreed with Gunners post. As I mentioned to him, my example was just meant to be simple to illustrate the point, but definitely feel this logic goes into the decision making as well and Beane has said so too multiple times
  21. Lets go O's! (winning 11-1 in the 7th today)
  22. Well, in Syracuse, the county (and maybe/probably NYS) paid to build the Lakeside Amphitheater. We pay Ticketmaster a fee to be able to buy tickets, and then buy the tickets to the show.
  23. I’m not sure what we think is changing? Yeah, there will be some changes in the seats with the $50k PSLs. That’s probably 1,000 seats total and 70% will be people currently there. The stadium will be filled with the same people that are filling it now. The PSLs will all be sold. In a decade, after Josh, maybe some people start selling some of their seats but it’ll be full. That’s just what happens in the NFL now (and into the future). The Bills are hot and get big numbers on the resale market. This era of Bills football has created a new generation(s) of fans. People that are 35 and under were not around for the glory years. People 25 and under never saw the Bills competent until this era. Now, both of those groups are “in.” I’m 42 and my weekly group is anywhere from 10-55(ish). I’m on the older side of the group. Most everyone is in their 30’s. These people aren’t going away. The stadium will remain packed for many, many, many years.
