  1. Past hour
  2. If they want to repeal the 14th Amendment, come right out and say it. Otherwise just STFU.
  3. Thanks, Shaw. I DO think, as you say in your last paragraph, that he has a good chance to succeed. And maybe I should have more faith in the coaches to help ensure that he does. I think what I fear is that -- given his young age and how raw he is, generally speaking -- that it might take him a while to succeed. That he might be a premiere receiver in this league by year three, but the Bills very much need him in year one. Now, if the Bills had made moves to NOT need him so much in year one, then it would be a different story. But they didn't. If Coleman isn't being counted on to be a big factor until, say, week 6, then it currently means that Mack Hollins or Justin Shorter or Tyrell Shavers is being counted on during that time instead, and you'll have to forgive me for being not at all confident in that being a good thing. I already mentioned strongly hoping that Beane keeps adding to the WR room, and you mentioned that you think he's likely not done adding there. I really hope this is the case. Right now, for the Bills to succeed optimally on offense, they're going to NEED Coleman to hit the ground running. If they put themselves in less of a position to NEED that by adding a capable veteran, I'll feel a lot better about things.
  4. Project twenty five was created by a dem funded PAC. The rest is pure fear mongering and explains the irrational posting of the op. Fear consumes and breaks logical thoughts processes
  5. That's because there's good reason to believe that Ray Epps egged him on.
  6. Good question…one, I don’t think we need anyone to draw double coverage because every guy on the field can win their matchup now between Coleman, Shakir, Samuel, Kincaid, Knox, Cook, and Davis. We can put pressure anywhere we want really. But, I do think Coleman is going to start drawing double coverage if he comes in and finds early success because with his size there really isn’t any other way to cover him. There is a lot of people down on our offensive group as a whole right now, but I’m honestly very excited about it and think we will be better than last year, especially with Brady getting to finally install his full offense.
  7. i agree with the first paragraph although I think you're describing fringe modern liberals rather than mainstream Most all of my liberal friends share my view or something similar.. Re the second paragraph, there will never be equal outcomes because of the womb lottery. Although it wouldn't surprise me if trump advocated for eugenics...
  8. The main difference is Terry fancied himself a "hockey guy" who knew a lot of hockey people and proactively bought the Sabres so he could spend his retirement being an active/meddling owner. Whereas with the Bills and the NFL, they were kinda pushed into the purchase and quickly realized how in over their heads they were, and were willing to delegate GM and HC searches to outside consultants, and then take a hands-off approach to running the team's football operations. Not sure that's even an issue at this point. It certainly wouldnt fix the brain damage she sustained. And she may not be strong enough to handle it.
  9. I've watched the majority of Sabres games since ~2004. While it's true the Sabres don't lack talent, you don't get the longest playoff drought of all time (not longest active drought, the longest for any franchise ALL TIME) by having bad luck. I think it's fair to say he's an incompetent NHL owner. By the way, the next closest playoff drought all time is 10 years, while ours is sitting at 13 years. So we're padding an already significant lead.
  10. Wait. So the guy called in a threat and had explosive devices and he was released till his court date?
  11. I wonder if Kim Pegula could be a candidate for a heart transplant. She's certainly young enough, and if she's that debilitated, it sounds as if it would be warranted. I know heart transplants are still rarer that most other organ transplants.
  12. Actually, what I care about is who's right come December. In September, Harmon might be right. After all, after the Jets game last year, the Bills came out absolutely smokin', and I don't expect that kind of start again. I think in December, you'll be right, because the young talent will be making an impact then.
  13. Terry's favorite sport may be hockey but look at it from a business standpoint. The Bills are a cash cow. The Sabres not so much. NFL teams live in a financial world that NHL teams can only dream about. If anything, he would sell the Sabres and keep his cash cow.
  14. Are you sure that Lord Seth Phoenix of Corfu isn't an illegal from Greece? A time-traveler from the 15th century? A Game of Thrones extra?
  15. Spencer brown is not a pro bowler, but he's played pretty well here. I do think savings from diggs can be put into a contract for a RT - Brown or someone else. Either way i don't know that we draft this player either necessarily. So... I'd see it as LT: Dawkins (He is 29, so i don't see him dropping off a cliff anytime soon and his contract is super adjustable with large 26, and 27 base salaries) LG: Probably not here yet -- I think this is something you can fill in the draft without spending a 1st. C : Long name guy, i give him a year probably unless you need something different at the position RG: Cyrus RT: Brown or FA
  16. tony romo isn't a choirboy either. serial dater who wasn't kind to all of the women in his life and generally regarded as a prick by those who have been around him.
  17. Frankly, I think you need to have a little faith in Beane and McDermott. I hear all of what you say, and I saw Bado's language that you quoted. I think your fears are unfounded. McDermott doesn't put guys on the field for extended plays if they can't do what they're expected to do. They will move Coleman along at the pace that is appropriate for him. I don't know Xs and Os, but I think you're overly concerned about him getting off the line of scrimmage. First, in his first snaps in the regular season, the coaches are going to put him in position to get easy releases, however they do it. They're going to put him in positions where he can succeed. In other words, I am confident they understand the "path to success" idea, and they will be mindful of that. In other words, I don't think Bado's correct (surprise, surprise) that the Bills will throw him out there because they need a #1 receiver. He'll play as he's ready to play. I'm not ready to assume that Coleman will not have a major role early in the season. He may grow into that role faster than we think. But on the assumption that he simply isn't ready to carry a big load, then I can't tell you who the starting group will be. I think Beane's not done working on the receiver room, but if he is, it's because they're confident they can get it done in the front half of the season while they're waiting for Coleman to get up to speed. Personally, I think we'll be seeing a lot of Coleman by game six, if not earlier. I think they'll find enough ways for him to succeed that he'll start seeing the field regularly, and once that happens, he'll start making plays that get the attention of the defenses. I was just looking at his college stats. Maybe he benefitted from step down in competition at Florida State, but 11 receiving touchdowns in 50 catches is eye-opening, as is #3 nationally in punt returns. In his early snaps, I think the Bills are going to be looking for opportunities where he can get open with some room to run after the catch. I'm not worried. Sure, he could flop, but I don't think so.
  18. Now that he has owned the Bills and been involved in the NFL for 10 years, I’d be willing to bet the Sabres aren’t his first love anymore.
  19. Back in the early 90s, I delivered the Buffalo News and USA Today. The major issue with USA Today? UB students were stealing the boxes, removing the doors, and fitting TVs inside the box for the ultimate TV stand.
