  1. Past hour
  2. They could have saved a bunch and just made every single seat in the stadium the pool seats like they have in that upper deck part. Everyone comes to the games in shorts with a towel. By the end of the 2nd Q all the water will be bright yellow.
  3. Transcript from Speech: "For the ladies present today, congratulations on an amazing accomplishment. You should be proud of all that you have achieved to this point in your young lives. I want to speak directly to you briefly because I think it is you, the women, who have had the most diabolical lies told to you. How many of you are sitting here now about to cross this stage and are thinking about all the promotions and titles you are going to get in your career? Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world. I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say that her life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and as a mother. I'm on the stage today and able to be the man I am because I have a wife who leans into her vocation. I'm beyond blessed with the many talents God has given me, but it cannot be overstated that all of my success is made possible because a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker. [Applause lasting 18 seconds] She is a primary educator to our children. She is the one who ensures I never let football or my business become a distraction from that of a husband and father. She is the person that knows me best at my core, and it is through our marriage that, Lord willing, we will both attain salvation. I say all of this to you because I have seen it firsthand how much happier someone can be when they disregard the outside noise and move closer and closer to God's will in their life. Isabelle's dream of having a career might not have come true, but if you asked her today if she has any regrets on her decision, she would laugh out loud, without hesitation, and say, “Heck, No.” As a man who gets a lot of praise and has been given a platform to speak to audiences like this one today, I pray that I always use my voice for God and not for myself. Everything I am saying to you is not from a place of wisdom, but rather a place of experience. I am hopeful that these words will be seen as those from a man, not much older than you, who feels it is imperative that this class, this generation, and this time in our society must stop pretending that the things we see around us are normal." 4. Lol…unfortunately I will never know what white privilege feels like… But, careful, your racism is starting to show…😉
  5. He talks about speed every January. Then drafts chain movers when it gets to April. Odd.
  6. You are correct.....the answers merged and now it's sending it to you and not the other poster.
  7. Everyone is taking what I said out of context. All I said is that we should go back to a better time, like the 50s and 60s. When men were men, and women had more babies than thoughts. When the only 'Me too' movement was one woman saying she was ready for her 4th child, and another woman agreeing." This is Butker’s clarification. He had time to put this together, time to reflect and what he came up with is women should have babies and not thoughts. That is indefensible, I’m sorry.
  8. I didn't see him say anything about women being in the kitchen cooking. Who the hell would want that? Everybody knows that today's modern day woman can't cook.
  9. The reason I don't think Beane will trade for a top WR is because he's consistently dropped the ball with adding pass catchers. After the AFCCG loss in 2020 he cited the Bills lack of speed at the position as a key reason why.............then subsequently signed the slow Manny Sanders as his only WR move. Each offseason since has just been another compromise at the position as they've gotten consistently worse there.
  10. If I was going to "fix" social security I would run off the current program to zero and transition contributions of younger workers to individual 401k type accounts managed by a group of investment fund groups like Vanguard and Fidelity which could choose a mix of income and growth options to balance risk and reward for the account holder. When they retire I would expect they'd have a decent size balance which could provide a much larger income stream in retirement than the current system. I would also make withdrawals tax-free. Let's not forget employers also pay into the fund. I'd also eliminate SSI and other programs which draw money from Social Security for reasons other than retirement and transfer those types of payments and needs to another fund specifically for that use. A major issue is what to do about people that don't work and don't contribute. Should workers be required to foot the bill for them? Or is there another safety net that might be better applied? But "privatizing" SS has been proposed before and rejected mainly because the government uses the SS fund deposits for general government budget purposes in exchange for treasury bond IOU's. I believe the SS fund is the largest holder of US government debt.
  11. I think this proves if you are going to have crummy WR’s you better have a top 2 TE in NFL history and a top 2 QB in NFL history and a top 2 coach in NFL history. probably not a strategy I’d try to replicate.
  12. But haven't you heard? Wide receivers are ten a penny and some sort of money ball gumpf about "yard accumulators" means this is actually the Bills out-smarting the league. If only the other teams were smart enough to go with a wing, a prayer, and an alligator armed slot receiver!!
  13. Josh and Diggs fell out over a year before he played is last game here. There was definitely a point of "gone as far as this relationship can." But the point @Beck Water made is still true. Trading Diggs was not, primarily, a cap move. It was a culture / relationship re-set.
  14. Poor baby... your white privilege is showing Not a myth, and we don't believe in the myth of you being a person who deals in facts.
  15. Weird take considering red states take more welfare than blue ones “Saving it” by gimping it so it’s functionally useless. Just remove the income cap!
  16. Right? The worst things anyone of us have done we may just be lucky. Every morning I run, including this morning. There is a back road i take and someone doing 70+ in a 35mph. Every day I flip them off. Every day they keep speeding by. It'd be nothing for them to take me out or shoot me. It's stupid that I react but here I am.
  17. The Bills haven't started a season without a WR that had accumulated at least 900 yards(a low bar) in any NFL season since 1987. Right now, that's the case unless they trade for someone who's proven they can be a WR1 or a good WR2. It's just another unnecessary leap of faith at the position.........same as the past 2 offseasons(which ultimately failed the team) but a considerably larger leap this time.
  18. You should have jumped at their deal they offered last November, on Black Friday. I pay only $2.66 a month for it!
  19. He wasn't "advised" to make those comments--this is what this guy believes is true. HE was there to condemn all sorts of people and behavior. And to tell the ladies to just stay home---why go to college?
  20. This is a purposedly misleading click-bait title. The original article states Mike North said the NFL had to adjust the schedule so that there were no conflicts with Taylor Swift concerts that were already scheduled in the various stadia. This is obvious. You can't have a Taylor Swift concert and a NFL game in the same arena on the same day or likely on adjacent days. The duplicitous statement that Taylor Swift can attend 14 out of 17 Chiefs games is simply because those are the days she is not actually scheduled to have concerts. In fact, what Mike North said was that the NFL had to have those teams out of town during because Swift concerts were scheduled in the same arena. Whether you believed him or not, North denied allegations that the NFL scheduled games so that Swift could attend them. In particular, he specifically denied that they schedule the Bills game to be at the same time Swift's tour is in Toronto. You can 100% call BS on the NFL, but North definitely denies what the clickbait headline seems to imply that the NFL admitted to. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/why-nfl-took-taylor-swift-into-consideration-when-making-2024-schedule/ I detest this kind of purposedly misleading reporting.
  21. https://www.ncregister.com/news/harrison-butker-speech-at-benedictine Here is the text of the speech. Perhaps you can highlight where he “tells them to stay at home”. If you can’t (you can’t so don’t put too much time into it), you are just another moron. I know, I’m not breaking news with that.
