Does losing to an NFC opponent still help us? Or did they remove that in the last CBA?
-
I want to see us purposefully not score any points and win.
-
That doesn’t matter as much any more. They changed the tie breakers.
-
Yeah, if it was against an AFC team, I'd say no way; but against teh NFC, you have to think about it.
-
I mean no they shouldn't try based on what the OP suggests. That being said it's not the craziest thought in the world with how analytical based sports are getting. Like that Jets game last week I mean yeah in the moment you aren't going to dump out at the 3 yard line after blocking a field goal kick and returning it for a touchdown with under 2 minutes left. That being said that would have been what the Jets kinda should have done in retrospect
-
Let's then see if we can win a game without scoring any points on offense. That's the logical next step, I think.
-
I feel like we should lose this game because we are almost certainly going to lose at least 2 games, and we would rather have an NFC loss
-
Go rewatch the games in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 and you'll have your answer. It appears not.

Why don't you respond in an intelligent manner? Why the illiterate response? -
It’s much worse than that. “In practice, ticket brokers connect their proxies—either bought from a third party or rolled by themselves—to other bespoke ticketing-buying software that helps them actually manage tons of Ticketmaster accounts and tons of phone numbers at once. There are a host of ticket broker-specific internet browsers that allow brokers to open hundreds or thousands of browser tabs, which each have a browsing session tied to either a specific SIM card or to an IP proxy which can also be bought from third-party services. This allows brokers to power through Ticketmaster’s “Virtual Waiting Rooms” because a broker can have hundreds or thousands of independent browser sessions waiting as separate “people.” The SIM box (or a SIM proxy service) can then be set up in these bespoke browsers to automatically forward and submit Ticketmaster’s SMS two-factor authentication, which is supposedly designed to prevent scalpers from getting tickets.” https://www.404media.co/the-sim-farm-hardware-seized-by-the-secret-service-is-also-popular-with-ticket-scalpers/

Exactly. It’s cool we have this long streak but it leaves it unclear if we NEED to win the turnover battle,. Also, each week the odds increase that we lose it. If we are way ahead, we might as well get those odds back in our favor.
-
Probably what the Vikings were saying in 2018!
-
There is no supporting argument in favor other than the one you made up in your mind that literally makes zero logical sense to anyone who ever played sports at any level.
-
The premise of the initial thought that created the thread, outside of that its totally rational, 🤣
-
I think I would prefer your system at this point since a jury is such a crap shoot and often comes down to stupid things.
-
I’m sensing this is a thread to have fun with during a LONG week in which there hasn’t been a lot to talk about. I laughed. if I’m wrong and this is serious, you might be on to something 🤣

Crack is whack
-
I asked for opinions and gave supporting arguments for each side. What’s so dumb about that? Maybe you refer people just being know it alls and getting in arguments? Personally I think that’s dumb.
