  2. Bc there is nothing more unreliable than a random board member or a Twitter user saying they have sources - inside a building that is notoriously tight lipped on everything. This is a team that even the biggest sources have a hard time getting a beat on. As Adam Schefter once put it "if the Bills are involved, they'll just be known as a "mystery team" until it goes down". All posters with "reliable sources" from this board have been given info that has been proven wrong. And if this info is something they had, why are they only mentioning it now when Coleman is benched? Everything about that looks sus.
  3. I guess I take offense because I want the information to continue being shared. There are a bunch of people here that have sources and info. Because of the naysayers, that info doesnt hit the board. It’s exchanged in PMs and texts. If we don’t want info, I guess we can keep questioning it. I’m defending Cover 1 because it makes sense. They can’t be wrong. Their business is covering the Bills. If you want to question me, or other posters, okay. I share less now than I ever did for that reason. It’s not worth the headache. Those guys though feed their families talking Bills. If they weren’t positive that this was happening, they would have to remain quiet or hurt their credibility. It just wouldn’t make sense. Logic and common sense says that they know. They do. It’ll come out tomorrow and hopefully next time we trust reliable insiders so that they continue to share.
  4. This is a fair and good point. That being said, of all the people “in the know” around the Bills including local media and other more credentialed writers, it is surprising to me they were the first to report this as they aren’t typically the outlet who is making headlines. Has this been sourced by anyone else yet btw? We live in a sports society that is all about fast takes. When you’re wrong; it’s often forgetting and we’re into the next story. I don’t think it would really damage their credibility with bills fans at all.
  5. Great to see some agreement and a great discussion! I haven’t tried to pick through the email cache, but what I've seen has just blown me away. https://www.politico.eu/article/jeffrey-epstein-emails-reveal-contact-between-pedophile-and-former-council-of-europe-chief-thorbjorn-jagland/ “I think you might suggest to putin that lavrov can get insight on talking to me,” Epstein wrote to Thorbjørn Jagland, who was the human rights organization’s secretary-general at the time, in a June 24, 2018 email. How freaking insane is this???? I think this is far, far, bigger than Trump. I think Epstein was far more of a worldwide influence and power broker than just the underage girl component. At this point,I really don't think Trump was part of the underage thing, and Epstein might have different dirt on him. But really I think this is too massive a worldwide scandal and someone or some group's pulling the strings on Trump to avoid this coming out. I'm not a conspiracy guy, but would totally believe either someone killed Epstein of Epstein knew it would be coming and went on his own terms. This will be our generation's Watergate and we may never know the half of it.
  6. In fairness to the guys we’ve swung and missed badly on…these are guys the Bills tried to force into positions outside of their strengths. They set them up for failure and once here that frustration likely spiraled. Elam as it turns out was just bad. Suppose Coleman may have a similar fate. So perhaps drafting and coaching failures.
  7. watching him, I really can’t tell if it’s a true effort problem. Sometimes when someone can’t compete, it looks like they aren’t trying when they actually are (but just are bad).
  8. Like I’m gonna burn who told me this. I don’t blame you for asking, but give me a break. The thought is that Coleman is immature and can’t handle failure/disappointment. They don’t think it’s going to work for him here. So they’re done. Maybe he gets a jersey again, maybe he has to go back in and it’s a 180. And he probably will be here for the rest of the year out of necessity. But again, I was told they’re done.
  9. Unless Coleman isn’t putting in the effort, then I’m not going to put it all on him. He’s one of many issues with our passing game but far from the biggest one. Coleman was never gonna be a burner at WR and while he isn’t panning out, the criticism should lie with Beane, McDermott and Brady! Unfortunately, it’s looking like another big swing and miss by Beane and his scouting team. It’s compounded even more by the miss on Carter. That hurts when you traded down with KC and came away with NOTHING. Factor in Elam, Boogie, Landon Jackson and it has rippling effects on the entire roster. McDermott and Brady have created a passing offense that is a grind and far too horizontal which minimizes your best weapon in Josh Allen. Beane has surrounded Josh with low tier WR’s and a TE that can’t stay healthy. Lastly, they believe continuing to add assets and resources to the D, when McDermott’s scheme has proven over and over it doesn’t translate in the playoffs. Even worse, with all the resources we lack any difference makers.
  10. Ah, got it. I was talking about Section C3. 👍
  11. Well first, some people younger than 65 qualify for Medicare benefits if they have a disability. If your health is more compromised and you have a Medicare Advantage plan.... you are largely at their mercy for medical authorizations for something like say skilled nursing vs traditional Medicare. If per se the nursing home would even be in network with the Medicare Advantage plan. It's insurance.....they are in it to make money before anything else including patient care.
  12. The Kincaid pick is frustrating. I personally think he's an excellent talent. But the health issue is getting ridiculous
  13. Exactly. The only other reason would be that he's seen the error of his ways... which does sometimes happen with people.
  14. I wish I knew why we seem to miss on so many high round picks. Bad scouting? Are we just guessing wrong? It's frustrating. Especially when the cap is becoming a real issue, we have to get more hits than misses.
  15. Exactly. If he’s no longer read 1 the new 1st, 2nd and maybe 3rd options become better ones.
  16. If they weren’t sure that the source was right, they wouldn’t say anything. That’s the point. Their business is predicated on credibility with Bills fans. They can’t risk that. Again, lots of people have sources. Lots of people here do. They aren’t all the same. You may hear something from someone in personnel, a player, a coach, training staff, medical staff, a family member, a media person, etc… There are lots of people in the know but to varying degrees. If these guys weren’t positive, they wouldn’t say anything. They have too much to lose. I’m talking about Cover 1. They have way too much to lose to be wrong.
  17. Not just an effort problem. He's shown up late for meetings, can't get separation, and hasn't been producing. Given all his shortcomings, it's not surprising to learn - if true - he's going to be a healthy scratch.
  18. KIrby, exactly zero people are attacking the messenger but they are asking a fair question to someone who claims to have heard that the Bills have given up on their top pick from just 18 months ago. Do you think it's unfair to ask @SectionC3 to elaborate? Is it your opinion that people should just unquestionably accept these kind of statements without further question?
  19. If Baker Mayfield had this defense there'd be another National championship banner hanging in Norman
  20. Sucks the weather is gonna be crap tomorrow. Probably not the best way to judge an almost completely new wr group
  21. My whole thing is that the other WRs are not tremendous. But by removing Keon you are eliminating what has clearly been a problem for Allen. Here’s a guy that disrupts Allen’s progressions because he’s not open most of the time, or he’s loafing around and not making himself an option. Keon is not playing to the standard whatsoever. and that’s bringing the offense down. The WR unit will likely be better and more cohesive without him.
  22. We'll we what happens tomorrow. Wouldn't break my heart if Coleman didn't play. How do you know they're not just hot takes? If you want to believe what you read on twitter, go for it. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens tomorrow.
  23. I dont know them. Also, sources are wrong at the time including those who are being relied upon for the ppl that post stuff here.
  24. If that's true...and I don't really doubt that it is...damn, what a colossal F up by Beane. Not just missing on the pick, but not hedging his bets in the draft this year after Coleman's play in the 2nd half of the year.
  25. We have a habit of questioning the messenger when we don’t like the message. Cover 1’s entire business is built upon gaining credibility with Bills fans so that they subscribe. Do you think those guys would throw out BS info if they weren’t sure? Lol, that literally would take money out of their bank account. That’s not how it works. Info gets shared all of the time that goes far and wide. There are a whole bunch of people on this message board that hear things before it ever comes out. It’s not really that rare or uncommon.
