  1. Past hour
  2. What do you all think of getting Olave from the Saints? Still a very cheap rookie deal and spotrac has his fifth year option next year at $15 million. Seems like it could be doable
  3. Mahomes has overthrown a bunch of deep targets this year. That one wasn't even remotely close
  4. I regret switching over from the Elicast when that horsetoothed Chiefs fan dingbat was introduced as their guest. That would have been a tasty reaction.
  5. The AFC is all kinds of crazy this year. Jags, Colts, Broncos - all look strong, while teams like the Chiefs, Ravens & Bengals are struggling.
  6. I haven’t been a Bill Simmons guy got a long time, but he used to be a great writer, and this is some of his best work, this column is about the passing of his Dog, (Daisy) Dooze. https://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/090122 Im sorry for your loss, and hope reading that helps a little
  7. I think it makes sense for both teams. The Saints have him for the rest of this year, and all of next on the 5th year option. They are already 14 million over the cap for next season. They get cap space and draft picks. We get a borderline #1 WR. Thay said, its likely just a pipe dream.
  8. The Pats were 3/9 in converting 3rd downs. We looked bad against the pass this weekend. But for most of the season we've been very good, actually. We were #1 in the league against the pass after week four. That's a bit deceptive, but it does make the point. But yeah, Poyer and Hyde were even more valuable than they seemed at the time. We're trying to switch from mostly zone to being able to do both this year. It was always likely to have hiccups. Couldn't agree more about hemming in Maye. The Bills are usually really good at this. They were awful yesterday. The defense allowed 23 points. In a game where the Pats started one drive at the Buffalo 11 yard line. More, the first half defense was really good. But they were bad in the 2nd. But the defense was certainly not the main problem. Might feel that way, but it's not true. They were great (though not against the Chiefs) all the way up to probably 2023. Poyer and Hyde aging out hurt desperately.
  9. That pick six was basically crack for me. Inject that stuff right into my veins. Anytime the Chiefs screw up an angel gets its wings
  10. Kick return: If there's one thing better than making Chiefs fans very mad, it's making them mad right after they were very happy.
  11. Sorry for your loss, losing your best companion is really tough
  12. I mean I got a bit winded just watching them Not if you’re on the chiefs
  13. So did I - then the defender just melted lol
  14. Mahomes is all tough hitting defenders along the sideline, until he has to make a real tackle
  15. The man never saw a hand he wouldn't shake. True Southern gentleman. No idea what this guy would have against him or on colleagues honoring him. He was a centrist, pragmatic D and a fine man.
  16. Mother Goose! (A minced oath my father used to say when he was excited) 😊
  17. Isn't it against the rules for Thornton to run on the white sideline for like 70 of those 100 yards chasing Devin Lloyd?
  18. I thought for sure that was getting punched out at the goalline
  19. I am going to go to bed in a good mood after that pick six. I know I will wake up and it will be a last second field goal by the Chiefs to win it.
  20. Question - why wasn't a flag thrown on #80 who ran out of bounds for about 30 yards and almost caught the interceptor at the 10?
