The amount of whiners on here is breathtaking. WE PUT UP 250 RUSH YARDS IN 3 RIVERS! I mean come on people, you don’t get to see that kind of domination very often so ENJOY IT. Will this offensive philosophy beat other teams, NOPE. Did it crush the Steelers? YES. Hey here’s a thought - maybe, just maybe, Brady schemed against a teams weaknesses for once? Maybe missing 2 starting offensive lineman, your starting TE, a starting WR and a WR 4 in Samuel had something to do with the game plan. I think this was a turning point for these guys. I saw NASTY, I saw ANGRY, I saw EFFORT. I saw 3 RBs contributing for the first time this season. I don’t care that it took a cheap shot to get Josh fired up. We should be running QB power in the first series of every game from here on out. It’s been that way since Josh has been our QB. Get our tackles back, get Glass Kincaid out there, Cooks is going to be a factor going forward. Cooks, Plamer, Shakir is not a horrific combo. Our identity is running the ball though, it sets the tone and opens things up. Brady has to stick with it even when it’s not going great early. Let’s see what he comes up with against Cinci whose defense has been playing better. I still expect a run heavy approach but I want to see him integrate more play action and intermediate throws against a defense that has been ass most of the year.

That IS tough - especially when I look at our losses. The Pats & Falcons games were so winnable. But that's the NFL. Nothing is given to anyone. We're bummed because it's finally a year when the other teams that have given us a hard time in the AFC look to be struggling and possibly might all miss the playoffs - but imagine being a Ravens or Bengals fan. Chiefs fans are probably not happy, but they have some titles under their belt at least. Maybe this is the way it has to go for us. We might look back & conclude that the adversity we had to face either as a WC on the road through the playoffs, or as a higher seed that had to really fight to re-take the division, gave us the mettle to finally win the elusive title that seemed more attainable in other years.

We've moved up to 30th ranked rushing defense, so yes.

Obviously, this ranking is due to teams running all over us, but it's nice to be first in something..... And I am willing to be our ranking on 3rd and long (10+) is not #1.......

I'm surprised you can't answer this. If you think the US gov and military is aware of your actions, and going to interdict, resulting in certain death, you might exercise your free right decision is a different direction.

Fun fact Caleb Williams is often described as "wild" or having "houdini" tendencies due to his unconventional, improvisational playing style which tends to get him in trouble. In a short period of time “Benny” has been able to what other coaches have not!!!! I’d love to see what a real offensive “mind” would do for Josh. McC had been around the block in Buffalo, how far have we gotten? IMO this thread didn’t age all that well.

I don't think you can start this by breaking fans down into "apologists" and everyone else. I appreciate what the man has done, but I do believe he needs to adapt and innovate. If I'm the owner and I feel a better coach is available for my franchise, I'm considering it. McDermott isn't a bum, but I don't see a leader that's learning from his own failures. It's tough to look in the mirror for all of us. He's paid handsomely to know what's looking back at him and improve if necessary. Innovate or stagnate. I don't care what the process was yesterday or last year. Improve it or let the next guy try. He could help his cause by surrounding himself with coordinators that aren't yes men. Great leaders know the importance of new ideas and relinquishing control in areas where they're not strong. I doubt McDermott has that in him. That my vote.

The Bills are a far better team and it is not even close. The Bengals defense is awful. Perhaps the worst the Bills will face all year. On offense, their OL is mediocre at best, no running game. They have Burrow, who has been sitting on his sofa most of the year and was awful against the Ravens, Chase (who is great) and Higgins who is hurt. Is Mike Gisecki really scaring anyone? And by the way, their coach absolutely sucks. Yes, anything can happen, the Bills have screwed up against weak opponents, blah, blah, blah. This is NFL crunch time where the cream rises to the top. If this game is close, it’s an upset.

Josh Norris is back in the lineup tonight. Let’s hope he’s actually able to stay in 5e lineup this time. Third time’s a charm, right? lol

I also like how Allen has responded this year when facing the top quarterbacks - he definitely seems more dialed in. Jackson, Mahomes, Mayfield seem to bring out the best in him.

What is the goal of the bombing? What is a measurable endpoint? What percent decrease would you feel would justify the killing and expense?

I agree with Sal Capaccio on the hit being the turning point but not due to a lack of effort. Instead he posed it as the team feeling uneasy and overly cautious not to make mistakes. Once the hit happens they stopped thinking about that and instead focused on kicking Steeler’s ass.

Do you believe the WH will walk the statement back? I don't. We'll see. If either the senate or the house committees find the actions illegal,, they'll likely send it to the military courts. As we've illustrated, there are many military legal experts that disagree with you. It's not as cut and dried as you make it appear. At the very least, it's a complex issue.
