  1. Past hour
  2. I agree, but was making a statement to the part where they said this needs to have a trial. Which i disagree.
  3. The issues from what I saw were: - The city of Cleveland rejected numerous proposals by Haslams and offered little beyond a refurb. - The existing stadium is built on the foundations of the old one (it was a rush job) and it’s all on a landfill (insert trash joke here). The Haslams want their big “Jerry World” style complex and that isn’t happening in Cleveland. They also want a roofed stadium, which isn’t possible with the current stadium due to weight/land.
  4. The school can be sued if they do not take appropriate action. And the DA has zero reason not to prosecute.
  5. That is the typical lazy maga take. I dont agree. Dems historically do better with the budget. Not that any of you would consider that reality. https://www.jec.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/democrats/2024/10/the-u-s-economy-performs-better-under-democratic-presidents
  6. You nailed it. They love to demonize groups and get off on their suffering. Who the ***** isn't into deporting criminals. This is not that. Dems botched immigration no argument there. This is even worse policy. MAGA is driven by fear. Fear leads to cruelty.
  7. Are they going to overpay to extend overrated and often injured TJ Watt too, so he can continue to get meaningless sacks and jump around the field so he can pretent that he is actually doing something to help win games? No player in the league gets more stats that mean less to their team's outcome then this guy. I don't think he has ever set the edge on a run play to his side of the field. I think even Chris Kelsay was better at setting the edge.. There's a name we don't hear too much of on this message board. LOL
  8. The burden of proof is different for civil lawsuits as opposed to a criminal trial. If it is a criminal trial a conviction should only be made if a crime is proved beyond a reasonable doubt. If it is a civil trial, a decision is made based on a preponderance of evidence. In other words, if it seems more likely that he did it than not, the judge will find for the plaintiff. Roger Goodell will do whatever he feels like.
  9. If by that you mean that a first round pick was thoroughly vetted and cleared of the charges they were fully aware of before the draft, and the 6th round pick with whom it unfortunately came as a surprise (not a great look there, for sure) and there was no time to resolve things before it became a camp distraction…….then yes. That is a difference. A first round pick will get more slack in camp, etc (see Elam), but this is not that, imo. .
  10. Haven’t we been over the need for some self-awareness? Good lord.
  11. What a flaming pile of sh*t the democrats must be to lose to this guy TWICE! Right?
  12. So how much more of our tax revenue should the top 10% of earners be paying, if 75% isn't enough?
  13. I’m sure the Bills investigated this to the hilt considering he was a potential first round pick and especially after what happened with Araiza.
  14. And richer if he has a retirement account.
  15. Saw them at Patrick Henry's (Main and Transit) later became Stage One when Harvey Weinstein bought it. Yes, that Harvey Weinstein (Harvey and Corky, the concert promoters).
  16. Beane must’ve felt comfortable knowing this was a possibility and drafting Hairston in the first round anyway
  17. Conflicting reports. Or maybe she spoke with campus police o the Fayette County Sheriff’s office.
  18. It’s not mismanagement. It’s careful management. If they take a big swing at QB and they are wrong, everyone is gone. The longer they pretend they are biding their time at QB, the longer they remain employed. The drought era Bills LOVED this tactic. You trade up multiple firsts for a QB, and you miss, you are fired. You take a late first QB here and a day 2 QB there, sign a mid tier guy or a reclamation project, and you convince ownership you just haven’t found the right guy yet, and ownership is happy with playoffs almost every year and a full stadium for a divisional game in December, and you have a job for a really long time in the NFL. Not only that, but they committed to the Rodgers experience this season. So there’s really no reason to not go for it now. Really they’ve wasted 5 year committing to the heir of Big Ben already. What’s another year?
  19. Today
  20. Right in that very article: A spokeswoman for the Lexington police said the department did not have a report matching a sexual assault allegation against Hairston. A spokesperson for the Fayette County Sheriff's Office did not immediately respond to requests for comment Wednesday.
  21. In LA thats just pacing traffic to survive. Either that or you are stopped in 8 lanes of traffic. going one way
