Week 14, Bungles v. Bills, PREDICT THE SCORE!
The Firebaugh Kid replied to Freddie's Dead's topic in The Stadium Wall
This has the makings of a fun one. Bills 34 Bengals 27 Probably my last game at Highmark -
It’s going to get even better when an afc team claims Ingram. Especially when it’s NE 🤣 this really sucks

Superbowl and playoff’s thoughts
dollars 2 donuts replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Gregg, the only thing I disagree with you on is the Texans. They have a great defense and they have the opportunity to do some damage, but I am still not even sure they are going to make the playoffs. Its not like they are a great team who stumbled and is now getting their feet under them. They are just an average team with a great D who can sometimes do things on offense. -
Seat Prices for Old Highmark Tear Down
DaVinci replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are crazy, 500 bucks for garbage. And a 25.00 removal fee. ALSO keep an eye out for Pegula to petition the state to somehow pay for cost overruns. -
I must be the only Bills fan that doesn't care if it's New England who wins it. If it isn't us, makes no difference to me. I don't think New England is talented enough to win it all but if they do so be it. If nothing else it would shine a light on some of the issues that have gone on in our organization and maybe increase the pressure.

Darius Slay claimed on waivers by Buffalo
SoonerBillsFan replied to TD716's topic in The Stadium Wall
It doesnt shock many of us. -
Not really, the guy is 35 and probably in his last year. Why would he want to move to a new city he's never been to before for two months before retiring? I am shocked the bills put in a claim to be honest.

Sen. Mark Kelly Is A Great American

If went on record about enforcing immigration laws and keeping boys out of girls sports, he'd probably win in a landslide. -
I agree. For most teams it’s meaningless, being such an easily achievable thing. I think on average, roughly 20-25 teams finish at/above .500 in a given season (last year it was 23). But for the Sabres, even hitting .500, let alone actually maintaining it and finishing a season at/above .500 is so rare that we tend to talk about it when it happens. They've had 2 seasons in the last 13 years where they finished at or above .500. and outside of those 2 seasons they rarely ever even reach .500 or better at any point during the season. for ex., last year they were at/above .500 for a total of 7 games. This year, so far it’s been 5 games at/above .500.

Big Ben on Mike Tomlin's Future in Pittsburgh
DapperCam replied to ryguy101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Half the reason the Steelers are in their current predicament is that Big Ben hung on for way too long and didn’t let the Steelers draft his replacement and retool/rebuild. Pretty rich for him to be giving an opinion at this point. -

Seat Prices for Old Highmark Tear Down
RkFast replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
My buddy got a pair of tickets from Shea Stadium when they tore that thing down. They cleaned them up repainted the metal parts and they basically looked brand new and came on a nice wood base. They have to pull the seats out of the stadium and instead of just chucking them in the dumpster they need to store them sort them clean them up paint them mount them get them ready for shipping so on and so forth. Things cost money. If you don’t want them, don’t buy them. -

but our process!

He wanted the Eagles. Pretty obvious

I always wondered about waivers when it comes to veterans close to retirement. I assumed teams talk to the player first before putting in a claim, both out of respect for a player at the end of their career, and because there is no point in putting in a claim for a player that can just decide to retire if they don't want to come. I guess that's not how it works, the Bills clearly put in a claim without any buy in from Slay.

I think the Rams are the team to beat despite them losing to a poor Carolina team this past weekend. There is no dominant team in the NFL right now. I think the AFC is wide open.

IIRC, last year Kincaid had a concussion and a shoulder injury, among other. I consider those contact injuries. -
Superbowl and playoff’s thoughts
Kelly to Allen replied to Italian Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the eagles are the best team in the NFL Rams are very close at 2nd I still think Buffalo and KC are the most dangerous teams in the playoffs if they get in. Houston has a good team and great defense, QB is pretty good idk if he can be great. Dallas is interesting Denver is better than the pats imo Ravens are the most overrated team in the NFL for a few years now imo Cincinnati can still get in even if they lose to Buffalo but win out lol. Another dangerous team if they get in -
Why is everyone about Lane Kiffin?
extrahammer replied to SoonerBillsFan's topic in College Football
As someone who grew up in MS I will say this, Ole Miss has recruited well and gotten top national classes long before Lane Kiffin arrived and I think that will continue without Lane. I'm more of an Mississippi State fan (I got to watch Eric Moulds there as a kid), but that LSU job isn't the same as it was a decade ago. And even tho I don't care for Brian Kelly, LSU tried to screw him over on his contract, plus the Louisiana governor is trying to run the program now, never has a school fallen so far after a Natty 5-6 years ago. You have a melodramatic narcissistic diva of a coach who has burned bridges everywhere he's gone and a dysfunctional University in LSU, I totally expect Lane's exit from LSU to be the most dramatic exit of a college football coach in history. This is false. Ole Miss has money and they matched LSU's offer. That's why they consistently had top 10 recruiting classes over the last 15 years. All that said, I think he took it bc LSU has more National Championships and is more iconic in college football. I don't think he handled his exit professionally, but I don't blame him for taking it. Sure he could have won a Natty at Ole Miss this year, it will be funny if they do without him too, but I think he's looking at it from that perspective, even if he is unprofessional about it. -
