Blizzard Brew, made with snow from Highmark Stadium?
WotAGuy replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Would love to have sat in on the discussion about this PR campaign. “How about we use stadium snow to make the beer?” ”Are you ***** stupid or something? No!!” ”It’ll work I tell ya. People are snapping up $600 plastic chairs - and it’s BEER for God’s sake. Those animals will lap this ***** up, I’m telling ya!” -
For one I never said anything about the blitz For two thank you keywords zero touchdowns.. he didn't throw four touchdowns He threw zero... And we have a lot more film on the Patriots offense over the last 7 8 weeks Dude you can't anoint a quarterback Year two lol he's going to have plenty of games where he struggles over the next couple of years And I'm betting one of them is this Sunday

We are trending the right way on the injury front, I would keep Bernard inactive, not wanting to mess with what seems to be working. This year it really has been a week to week league, i respect the Broncos, Pats and Jags and what they have done so far. We have got to embrace the struggle and rise to the challenge. We are going to be a tough out for anyone in the playoffs whether we are the 1 or the 7. KC, Baltimore and Cincinnati would be over the moon to be in our position as of now. We got to keep working and clawing to get to where we want to be.

Full credit to Cooks, but when that DB looked back and saw Allen running full speed his direction like a runaway racehorse, well, let's just say he didn't fight too hard to get unblocked.

After watching Burrow’s press conference today, I’m again so glad Josh Allen is our QB!

What are you, his agent?

Watch out where the huskies go… -
Maye went about 22 for 30, for 273 yards no picks and a QB rating of like 101 (if I read that right) again i ask. You thinking all it's gonna take to frustrate him is to blitz him...and that was like his 5th game in a hostile environment such as buffalo. Edit his QBR was 73.

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
Alphadawg7 replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
I will add his effort has looked like this in non-snow games too. It wasn't unique to this game, albeit, this game it stood out a lot more. But the scramble drill thing should be where he excels with Allen and you can see on the tape the effort just isn't there. He looks like he is just watching to see what happens and doesn't seem to really react unless he sees Josh look at him or something but then its too late. The moment he sees Josh scrambling he needs to be working his way back into his vision and find a soft spot in the defense to get the ball. But he kind of stands there or slows from a run to a trot at end or top of his route while just seeing what happens. Its unacceptable effort and I think its a big part of what got him benched. -
Maybe he saw this thread.

If I were that dude… I’d just retire now so it would speed my induction into the Hall of Fame. Heck with how awesome he is, they may not even make him wait 5yrs.

Did you all see this video clip of his media today? Guy sounds so low energy and there’s stuff going on in his head about his future.

Josh Allen AFC Offensive POW Again (Week 14)!
The Wiz replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
I asked about it in the GDT but was curious if anyone heard about why Josh was wearing a red tinted visor for the game? I thought you weren't allowed to wear colored/tinted visors unless it was for a medical reason? Nevermind, just found my answer. Because money, that's why. -
Only in a perfect world...

The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse

And that is certainly the risk with him. What happens if CeeDee dominates the touches, I am not convinced he will be the merry player he is trying to present himself to be right now either. -

I hope it was just the snow. He also appeared unwilling or unaware to make any effort to get away from his defender on Josh scramble/rollouts. I don’t understand any receiver not doing anything possible to get open on a Josh Allen scramble play. I thought every receiver wants the ball thrown to them. -

Its funny watching all these people rant about Keon being a bust when most of them were on their soap boxes on draft night screaming to draft someone else who is also a bust so far between Worthy, Legette, Adonai, Franklin, etc. Very few people were saying we should take Ladd, I know because I had him as WR5 behind BTJ and people kept arguing with me that it was one of those other guys. But, I never thought we would take Ladd with his natural position being the slot and that literally being the only WR position we had filled up. I was terrified Ladd was going to go to the Chiefs at end of the round, and pretty much expected it to be honest. But they moved up for Worthy and I was relieved it wasn't Ladd as I thought it was going to be Ladd when the trade was announced. Looking at the draft, the guy I thought they might take over a WR when we were on the clock, Cooper DeJean, is who we should have taken. I loved Cooper, and I figured our FO and Coaches would love Cooper with his versatility, so I legit thought he could be the pick at the top of the 2nd then go WR after. But I still figured WR was slightly more likely given the loss of our top 2 WR's in one offseason. And honestly, I would have gone WR too just given the need and having Allen. But man, Cooper looked so tempting sitting there and I have a redo, that is my pick, not Ladd. -
We slide our line a lot and sometimes leave one open rusher on 6 man rushes instead of blocking a running back Because they don't have a good chance of getting Josh to the ground.. he gives them a pump they leave their feet he skirts them Happens every single week.. or on the long touchdown run he just did your classic quarterback drill of stepping up strong in the pocket didn't even pump That's why they do those drills where they step up in the pocket while getting whacked by pads and stuff... It's muscle memory and you're not beating that rusher by backing up in the pocket.. you hit your back step and step up strong

I think Josh and Edmunds are different. First, the last sure-fire #1 overall QB in the draft was Peyton Manning. There are essentially no QBs in college who have anything close to showing everything they need to be star NFL QBs, so that means every QB pick is a bet. You have to suck it up and bet on someone. Beane and McDermott understood that Josh was less of a bet than some teams thoughts, but they knew it still was a bet. Edmunds was definitely a bet, but he was a bet of different kind. First, he didn't have much downside. It was pretty clear that guy was going to play linebacker on some team, either in the middle or on the outside. He was just too talented and had too much size to have much bust potential. So, the bet was sort of risk free - at worst, you're going to get a linebacker who can play, at best you're going to get a Hall of Fame player, a physical freak who had the potential to be talked about with the greatest linebackers of all time. Elam and Coleman and Kincaid have never been considered to have that kind of upside. I agree with pretty much all the stuff I didn't quote, by the way. I just think Allen and Edmunds were different.

Josh Allen AFC Offensive POW Again (Week 14)!
BillytheKid replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
Benford isn’t going to get it no matter how good he was when the defense gives up 34 points as a whole most of the time.
