Not only was the defensive line massively improved I would also say at corner there was significant investment. -

The Eagles were 3rd in EPA defense Overall, 2nd vs the Rush last year. Baltimore was one sport worse vs the the run and 11th overall. Eagles dropped 37 on us the year prior with a less productive offense and a better Bills defense. They had the 4th worst defense in football that year. We have shown no history of playing up in weight class in the postseason. I don't think it would be close. -

Could they be right? Sure. If Bosa goes down early and often and has no impact on the team and the defensive rookies don't make much of an impact this season, the defense could absolutely look similar to what we have seen in the past few years. If Palmer is a bust of a FA signing and Moore doesn't live up to the expectations I, and a few other people have put on him, then the offense likely stays where it was as well. So, could the Bills be the definition of insanity? If things go wrong, absolutely. However, if Bosa does find a way to stay healthy, I believe he has plenty of gas left in the tank to make an impact. And I am actually pretty high on the defensive rookies. While I don't see them dominating early in the season, or maybe at any point this season, I do think they will get better as the year goes along, especially the guys on the defensive line. The fact is, we don't need them to be an absolutely dominant defense. We need them to make 2 or 3 more stops a game, especially in the Playoffs. Just don't give up 30 points to teams that haven't scored 30 all season in the Playoffs. Find a way to hold these teams to 24 or less and then take your chances with the offense you have. The line is so thin for us when it comes to winning and losing. We literally could be 3 or 4 plays away from having a couple of Super Bowl championships already, but we didn't get it done in key moments and key plays. Find a way to flip that script this season. Make those 3 or 4 game changing plays instead of giving them up. Hopefully this new influx of talent can be the difference and flip those bad plays to good ones because that can be the difference between winning the whole thing or going out early once again. -

Is there anything funnier than when a supercool tough guy needs to show everybody how independent he is by declaring himself above such weak concepts as virtue and morality, but can only do so by parroting somebody else's little political buzzwords? -
We bought field clubs, 3 rows up right at mid field. The price stings but we can’t take the $$ to the grave so wtf. I’m guessing in around 15 years we’ll be selling - based on location if any seats in the section hold their value, these should.

Eagles run defense wasn't better than the Chiefs. Eagles, Chiefs, and Ravens all would have given us similar problems. Enough defense to make it hard to break it open and a run game that would keep our pass rush in check leaving our secondary that couldn't cover. We had enough offense and just enough defense to beat Lamar. We had almost enough offense and not enough defense in a winnable game vs the Mahommes. If I had to guess we would have been in another close game where we would need to pull something out to win if we had ended up playing the Eagles. I certainly think the offense is ready to win a championship. The defense has to find some playoff swagger somewhere. Even the years with pretty decent talent when the game is on the line we don't make the stops we need in the playoffs. They certainly are trying to infuse the defense with difference makers so I can't say they're not trying. -

FEMA cuts, MAGA cries: the hypocrisy hits home

Omg you’re arguing with AI on a situation that just happened. Separately, while DOGE cuts impaired NOAA broadly, NWS warnings for this flood were timely per experts (CNN, WIRED). No direct link to deaths; the event's rapidity was key. Facts evolve with sources. It still knew that tho. You’re a freaking loser. -

I just want to say that I definitely experienced the squickiness of the language pertaining to his actions. That said... I think it's an unpleasant but genuine reality. Statistically, a huge chunk of men commit at least one sexual assault in their lives and will admit to behaviors that qualify as sexual assault as long as you don't refer to it as sexual assault. The statistical range is roughly 1/5 to 1/3 of college males. Paradoxically, young men that have lots of consensual sex are actually more likely to commit sexual assault because they are more likely to find themselves in scenarios where they expect/anticipate sex based on prior experiences, which leads to them either not noticing or ignoring cues of uncertainty or non-consent from someone they want to have sex with. It's very likely that a large number of current Bills have committed acts that could be accurately described as sexual assault from the perspective of the other party, and most of those dudes are likely not even aware of it. While it's at lower rates than men, women do it, too. I am far from god's gift to sex appeal, and I had two different situations in college where women tried to take advantage of the fact that I was inebriated. They didn't mean harm, they were just trying to get laid, but if I were not a 6' dude that felt comfortable just waiting for a moment to physically get away it could have been a very unpleasant situation. At least two of my male friends that I know of also had close calls, including one where a girl was very clearly deliberately taking advantage of his inebriation and inexperience to try to keep him from leaving, and he ultimately had to be bailed out by friends who realized something was wrong. At least one male friend that I know of was successfully assaulted by a woman in college. It's an unfortunate element of human behavior that is very prevalent. We have a daughter, a son, and another daughter on the way. They're young, and we're doing our best to help them understand consent and boundaries both for themselves and others from the get-go. Honestly, it's rough going, and we're going to have to work our butts off to get it to stick. Not everybody innately understands the potential harm in what they want, even when it's harmful, which is why it's so important to consistently hammer this stuff home. Things that seem like they should be obvious aren't always obvious to otherwise decent, well-intentioned people, and sometimes otherwise decent, well-intentioned people commit sexual assault to get their perceived needs met. It's why it's such a tough problem to solve, and why people struggle with it so much. We want to believe that only monstrous people are capable of committing sexual assault, but sometimes it's normal, everyday folks, including the sweet, empathetic elementary education grad student that has always wanted to work with kids, posted a ton about her own genuine experiences during the height of #metoo... and also tried to prevent a drunk dude with a girlfriend from leaving her hotel room at the end of a group get-together when she was feeling lonely and horny as a college undergrad. -
