Should we look to trade Keon after this season?
OldTimer1960 replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall
Agreed. Going into the Bills pick, he was the one player I didn’t want - and we didn’t even know that his work ethic sucks. His only path to success is to use his size and strength, but he isn’t good at contested catches. -

In regard to the DD, I’ve always thought it would be so cool to live in one of the houses by the stadium. I had family that lived on Sheldon Rd. and it was a 10 minute walk to the stadium. -
I think having Davis back was important. I hope he can help show the other WRs how to get open on the scramble drill. To me, one of the biggest frustrations this season has been watching Josh extend plays & still unable to find an open receiver. Before I read the “Josh isn’t seeing the open receiver “ response, I have watched replay after replay where no one is separating from their defender in any meaningful way.

According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

How do they miss the fact he can't separate outside? I never got the Coleman pick. Personality or play style he was never a fit for what we needed. -
My Dad's family always named their female dogs they named either Queenie or Ginger. Investigating the family history, I came across a photo and a couple of letters from my youngest aunt to my Dad when he was overseas in WW II that referenced a small white dog named Queenie who apparently replaced "old Ginger". Growing up, we had a string of Queenies and Gingers although we also had other dog names.

I'll take 40 points and weird every week but I agree it was strange, the 3 turnovers as well, we had the turnover streak at 20 something going into this year

With all the scouting and background checks they do, how did they miss the kind of behavior that he is exhibiting? -

This Broncos defense is fun to watch. Big, fast and physical. -
Is he going to play defense

Agree completely on Dawkins. He gets a false start every game it seems. But I give him leeway because he’s so good. He does have his lackluster moments though for sure. -
We should sign Gabe Davis to the 53

Pretty sure where we drafted him, he has some guaranteed money. -
The offense was great today. The rest is semantics

My friend's brother was "that drunk" on New Year's Eve that he blew his semester's college tuition money on anime. I checked with him if he REALLY had enough money to blow before he chucked out in Amazon and he said "Yup." but I didn't know what or where it came from.

My theory is that Allen’s so good, and has been for so long, that a bad play gives internet warriors the chance to demonstrate what informed, unbiased, observers they are. In other words, Allen’s unique excellence gives some the chance to astutely grasp the obvious in self aggrandizing way. It’s a claim against an argument nobody makes. ”Allen makes mistakes and I am creating straw men who say he doesn't make mistakes in order to show how smart i am.” -

Releasing Coleman over Moore is a knee jerk, emotions based move a fan would make. Not a smart GM. Moore is providing us nothing. He's the first WR made inactive if everyone is healthy. After this year, he's gone. We get nothing for him anyways. Coleman is only a year and a half into his career. You've yet to try him inside (which is something we could try with Gabe and Palmer on the Outside), where he may be better suited. And again, at the very least, there's a good chance you could get a return on him after this season. Even if it's a minimal one, it's better than nothing. -
It'll be interesting to see how we use the WRs going forward. Coleman didn't seem to add anything; we might be better with Gabe starting and Shavers backing him up. And deploying Hardman as an occasional speed guy could add a new wrinkle. Our normal starters (Coleman, Palmer, Shakir) only accounted for 14 yards in a game we scored 44 points. 2nd teamers (Gabe, Shavers) totaled 130 yards. I wonder how Brady and McD will process all this.

I’d like to see Keon get a chance to turn his career around- who knows maybe he’s the guy who has the game just turn on for him in year 3. But at this point you’ve just gotta table him for the year.
