Los Angeles under military attack

I’m sorry for whatever happened to you that made you this way. Best wishes. -
I'm not sure in today's NFL, Cook is a 15 mil/yr back. But I do believe that the Pro Bowl player on our offense with the 2nd most touches of the ball, 2nd most TD's, 3rd most receptions, and rushed for over 1000 yards is worth at least Josh Palmer and Khalil Shakir money. That would put him at a minimum in the 12 mil/yr, 60 mil 4-year contract range.

Why Terron Armstead retired (His knee hurt) (Clickbait Article)
NoSaint replied to stuvian's topic in The Stadium Wall
yea I ride the fence on this… obviously a fan and often advocate for preserving the game… but also the reality is it’s quite rough on the body and we normalize some extreme things to protect the game. especially in recent years I’ve fallen under them being incredibly well paid even at minimums and grown men can make grown decisions…. But some of these are certainly grown up choices they have to make in risking health for money. -
Stadium Construction Discussion (No PSL/Seat selection posts)

So your plan is build the stadium in Des Moines and put it on the back of tractor trailer to get it to Orchard Park? -
A better WR gets the 1st on the quick screen we threw on the previous play. Instead the older WR we were forced to desperately trade for slipped and got shoestring tackled which led to the 4th down attempt. Two plays where Allen gave his pass catcher the best chance they were going to get and both times they let him down. His legacy is being defined by the failures of those around him.

Oh sure, both are bad but save the performative outrage when your friends literally pissed in the Capitol, smeared ***** on the walls, and replaced the American flag with a Trump one. Just save it. -
Did he look invisible because he literally didn’t get any snaps? Lol.

And decides to actually stay healthy.

back end CB's end up washing out in Miami who likes their two scrubs away from being washed has-beens. back end CB's end up washing out in Miami who likes their two scrubs away from being washed has-beens.

They’re so desperate to change the subject from the complete disaster happening in DC.
-
That sucks, especially if he ends up with one of our AFC competitors.
-
Not sure why but since they picked him I've had this feeling that he could turn into a steal. As others have stated, he gives them a different skill set at edge rusher. They've got the length guys like Groot and Epenesa, and now a length & power guy in Landon Jackson, Hoecht seems like a power rusher, Bosa when healthy can bring a little bit of speed and power. Solomon probably the speediest of the bunch tho and I think they could probably create some pressure packages that he's a part of. It can vary depending on the matchups as well. If they have an opponent with a right tackle who really struggles with speed rushers then yeah maybe he's getting some snaps that week.

Exactly. This is exactly right. What the rioters are doing is BS. But this is an LAPD/mutual aid/CHP/Cali state response area. They deal, until they can’t, and then governor asks for outside help if necessary. At that point NG comes in and assists as permitted by law. -
I would figure we reached out prior to the draft. I think once they used a 1st on CB position Beane's interest level has come down since. I'm sure at the right price anything is possible...but the room is pretty cro now IMO

Good post and agree with most of this

It does. It's so deserving of it's own thread it has 3 of the same already.

Fair assessment. 👍🏻 edit: I guess where we differ most is regarding our belief in McD. I think he’s capable. He’s regularly shown that he can devise game plans to stifle Mahomes in the regular season. Then the playoffs come around and we can’t stop them. I would attribute some of this due to injury- not strictly McD. Looking at the corners we’ve run out there in the playoffs compared to the regular season is a stark contract. Benford has missed 95% of the snaps in the last two loses- which left us with Douglas/Elam and Douglas(on a sprained ankle)/Dane. Neither pairing is Lombardi quality and hurt our D dramatically imo. If Benford plays both games- I think we win at least 1. Throw in AJ Klein playing and the investment in Von Miller yielding us nothing for 3 years in the playoffs. maybe that contributes to your lack of confidence in McD - and that’s fair as well. Does he need his D to be injury free in order to beat them? Maybe so. Will the D ever be healthy come playoffs? Doubtful. I get it.

So you believe an image of two guys taking down an American flag is equivalent to video of groups of rioters waving Mexican and other national flags while parading around celebrating the burning American flags? -
offer him a 1 year deal with huge incentives for playing time and INTs convince him he gets the chance to "re-establish" himself as a top 5 CB who can stay on the field and get huge $$$$ from someone next year
-
You mean the tactics that got Dalvin a 5 year, 12.6M per year average extension in 2020? Say what you will, but under the circumstances it worked for big brother...
