Aren't Spillane and Landry their starting LB's? Could be a good day for Cook if they don't play, along w/ Williams already being out. Hard to complain about our injuries looking at their report.
-
I agree with you. We have seen better Bills teams. But I don't think we have seen the AFC this weak in years. I don't look at one team and say "Wow, look at how awesome they are!!!" Now if we got to the SB and faced a fully healthy Rams team? We would probably be 5-6 point underdogs. They are a step above the rest of the league. We would probably need to score 40 points against them.

But are you Jessie excited, mayne?

Peyton Manning is 100% considered one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play The most surefire quarterback ever drafted He didn't even go to his first Super bowl till he was 30 The Buffalo Bills are considered by everybody to be one of the best organizations in football now we're not a dumpster fire

Game week thread - Bills at Patriots*
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just a friendly reminder that the Patriots got beat by the Raiders and Steelers. What other signature win do they have besides Buffalo? We just went thru a murderer’s row of a schedule and with a W this Sunday the Bills will be breathing down their necks. Sorry, i know Drake Maye is the new media darling, but he is no Josh Allen. It greatly upsets me when people even make the comparison. I live in New England and it’s sickening how many people think he’s already on that level. Child, please. -
Yeah but Sean has no idea what's going on with Darius slay Just got way too much on his plate getting ready for the next games It's on Brandon Bean to make sure that the dude is going to show up.. I'm sure he said hey would you rather have slay for Ingram? And McDermott is like yeah as a number four for sure Not putting into account all the other things to GMS to take into account.. like where the waiver wire players head is at The Buffalo Bills have 100% been consistent since we signed Brandon that he is in full control of the roster... Sean tells him the type of guys he wants and Brandon gets them Sean doesn't have the time to be scouting and looking at players

NFL announces return to Munich, Germany for 2026 and 2028 regular season
zow2 replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Went to Munich this past June for work and took my 20 year old daughter since she’s never been overseas. We both thought Munich was great and she figured out the train stuff on her own. Very safe and walkable…cool old city vibe with a lot of modern mixed in. I’d definitely go to a Bills game over there ahead of London. -
Yea it's my dream that Beane sucks at drafting and free agency. I've been waiting since 1973 to watching a once in a lifetime QB being wasted. Eight years and zero Superbowls. I'm so ecstatic. Can't wait till someone drops fifty on this defense in the playoffs. I'm so excited I can't stand it.

All time Hof QB, ✓ Pro bowl game breaking RB, ✓ Top 3-5 oline , top 2-3 in run blocking ✓ Top te in Kincaid ✓ Te room top 3-5 ✓ Organic pass rush when Bosa , Oliver & Groot are healthy ✓ Number 1 CB in benford ✓ Very promising young s & cb ( Bishop/ Max)✓ Milano & Thompson, pretty good ✓ Promising young dt in Walker ✓ The roster is not top 5, but can we please stop pretending the team depth chart sucks. Wr room is bottom tier but Shakir and Gabe are decent Shavers is the next Stallworth imho 😉

That's a great name for a bills bar lol I can't tell if it's meant for Bills fans or consigliere of the Italian mafia

If trubisky was our starter we might have three wins. Cosell spot on per usual.

Christian Benford in a medical walking shoe
Kelly to Allen replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
The most ironic part is physicality had less to do with stopping the Ravens run, it's the scheme and health of Bernard. Everyone could clearly see him limping around. -
Defenders also have eyes. They are watching the QBs wind up and release the football. They see this happening as they are rushing them. Those are visual keys that allow them to know if they will get there on time or late. They have time to alter their momentum and slide away from them. If their view is blocked or they don't see, oh well, they should have been watching for it.

Candidly, some good players but devils advocate- Cook is a very very good player at perhaps the most devalued position in the league and comes off the field in many of the biggest moments. I think he’s electric but you’d trade him for JJ or Chase in a heartbeat at wr oliver has good games but is not a truly elite DT. A good one but certainly not telling your kids you got to see him play. It’s possible to fill a top ten list at the position without him. Benford is the closest to an elite player at a premium position but started the year cold. Kincaid is tied for 93rd in receptions currently. I’ll add bosa has potential for your list too… but the theme would be getting these guys healthy and at their ceiling for a month straight and as much as I’m glad they are on our team that is still a hard bet to make.

Only if we watch Juice right after. That Bishop was a real rogue, ya dig?

Football and the laws of physics
EmotionallyUnstable replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think the late hit stuff it obvious and should be flagged when a QB is unprotected in the pocket. There should be less protections while they are scrambling, extending plays or become a runner. If Josh Allen is in the pocket, released the ball and gets hit well after the play or in a dangerous way, there should be a penalty. If he’s escaping the pocket extending a play, looking to chuck it down field, I think those protections should be significantly reduced. In fact, I’ve repeatedly said I believe they should remove the slide as a protected play. I think it is such an ambiguous call and it seems like every week it’s a new QB getting whomped. When you slide, your head and momentum begin to swing backwards towards the turf so any additional force added just compounds that into the ground and we see guys getting concussed because they tried to protect themselves. -
What if the Bills had an awful OL and college level defense? They would be.....well.....the Bengals. Top 5 worst then.

Lived in both Simsbury and Farmington for several years. Can recommend Sparetime in Bristol, for sure. Will have a group of Bills fans (not a ton, but enough). The Simsbury options are legit cool places to hang, don’t know for sure the level of Billsiness. Since it’s Pats, the game will obviously be on. Congrats on your Grandpa-ness! Go Bills!

Can we watch get rich or die tryin? And listen to MF doom and pharoahe monch

I’m holding out hope for Cooks This is the same as we’ve all said. No players besides Josh and Cook that scare anyone.

BillsFanForever19 replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Cool. Oliver got hurt. Message sent. That's kind of my whole point. Again, I'm speculating. I don't know this to be a fact. But we're *constantly* taking mid week injuries. More so than other teams. I can't help but wonder if things like "sending a message" (as you put it) and in general how he conducts the physicality in practice isn't more to blame than the board whipping boy of the Strength & Conditioning department. -
I agree. Not sure if you were commenting specifically on what I posted, but I was saying, Beane wouldn't drop Ingram without McD's approval.
