I saw AJE the same coming out. But I think you are slightly underselling how explosive he is now. The best bit of his game since he reshaped his physique is his explosiveness off the ball. The reason it doesn't convert to more sacks and pressures is he lacks big time bend and really doesn't have an array of pass rush moves. His technique is still that of a bull rusher with the body and first step now of a speed rusher.

Makes one wonder about Epenesa's prescribed, dramatic and counter-intuitive transformation from a big, long, physically strong and stout DE to a long but lean DE with questionable explosion and bend for his avg weight. Coming out of college, he seemed like the perfect fit for an odd-front defensive scheme that would value his natural strength, length, and leverage. Like a Pitt or GB or Bal type of landing spot. A 5T DE in a 3-4 alignment. Someone they'd want to see ADDING weight and strength, leaning into his traits. He'll never be twitchy and bendy, so why not maximize what he CAN be? A big, tall bully on the edge. That was my take on AJ Epenesa's best NFL projection. Still is, to be honest. The fact that he obviously overshot his weight loss targets in year one, thereby neutralizing his previously natural strength and leverage, was a multi-layered failure. The 2020 pandemic offseason was no time to ask that rookie to radically redefine his body composition and effectively weaken his strengths. Coleman and Rousseau, conversely and correctly, should both be steering INTO their strengths and lengths and getting bigger and stronger. Hell yeah. -

But unless that younger guy is as effective as Goodell at increasing revenues it's a false economy. In the last fifteen years the league has gone from an annual revenue of $8bn to an annual revenue of $23bn. No other sports league anywhere in the world is even close. The owners are not risking that kind of growth profile to save a few million a year on a commissioner's salary.

I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree. While a title is the ultimate goal, it doesn’t mean that fans can’t appreciate when their team or an individual on the team do good/great things. Like I mentioned upthread, my college basketball team has won five NCAA Championships. There’s still other good/great things they’ve done (team or individual) to appreciate besides the titles. While I hope our continued success leads us to a title, this has been a great half decade of Bills football in many ways. And hopefully it’ll turn into a great decade of Bills football, along with a title. Go Bills!

Why would Dion, Knox, and Kincaid be the only players? And what makes you think he and Kincaid are that tight that he would be one of only 3 invited players? I'd envision Shakir is getting an invite before Kincaid. ... not that i've given much thought to Josh and Hailee's wedding. -

You're claiming that fans of Green Bay, New England, and Kansas City never talk about regular season stats, pro bowls, mvps, and hall of fame? They don't care about those things even a little bit? -

The Bills You can hear any song you want on YouTube. Also, If you don't want to spend $300 - $1,000 plus for one concert ticket, someone will tape the whole show and post it on YouTube for free and you can watch it in the privacy of your own home. Paying bills on your cell phone. You can get organic foods anywhere now, not just specialty stores. -
That is 100% fair. The reason people were so snarky was the idea that Brandon Beane of all people would be willing to eat the most dead cap ever ($31m) for a position that wasn't a QB during the prime of Josh's career was just highly unlikely. Especially when your only good WR besides Diggs was Shakir. Beane ripping the band aid off was shocking to me and a lot of us had to eat crow because of it. I underrated the toxicity of the situation when in retrospect I shouldn't have. People like Stephen A Smith were mocked on here but he turned out being right. I learned my lesson when it comes to looking too much at the cap ramifications and not enough about the locker room dynamic of a team.

Liked this song back in the day....looks like the band got together to celebrate the 15 year anniversary of the song......that makes me feel OLD!!!
