That's fair. I get what you're saying. I think pricing himself as the second highest paid running back in the league (as has been reported) and putting his house on the market seems....a bit much. On the other hand, staying away from all organized activities until the season starts seems reasonable to me. Why practice (and thus part yourself at risk of injury) if the team isn't willing to offer you the contract you think you deserve? It's a situation with a lot of nuance, and the sports talk world generally doesn't do nuance well. At the end of the day, I maintain that I support Cook's overall goal here, but I'm still not sure certain aspects of his methods of trying to achieve that goal are in his best interest. To be fair...I'm not an agent. I'm not a player. I'm just a goofball sitting on his couch playing armchair contract quarterback.

Obviously, the Bills are counting on Rousseau to have a major role on the defense as he did a year ago. They are hoping that Joey Bosa will be able to return to his play of a few years ago. In four of his first six seasons, he had ten or more sacks. Rousseau and Bosa have both played mostly left end. In the last few years, Bosa has played more linebacker, but that's probably not happening with the Bills. I think they are hoping that Landon Jackson will be effective playing RDE, so Bosa and Rousseau can rotate on the left. Epenesa is the incumbent starter at RDE, and at this point, I don't think the Bills are ready to get rid of him. Hoecht is obviously not available for six games. Even when he returns, he's something of a unicorn as a 310 lb defensive end. He times fast, but I can't believe he's going to be more than a power rusher. Besides Solomon the rest of the defensive ends on the Bills roster, are scrubs; Paris Shand and Hayden Harris. Those two are extreme long shots to make the roster, so discounting them, and not counting Hoecht at the start of the season, Solomon is the fifth DE. There is a decent chance, the Bills will carry 5 DEs. If they do, Solomon will be the guy. How much playing time he gets is very much up in the air. Epenesa has been solid, but not a difference maker. Epenesa has never had more than 6.5 sacks in a season. Granted, he's always been in a rotation, but I think the Bills would like to see more from him. If he give the Bills the same level of play that he always has, I could see the Bills experimenting with giving Solomon more snaps when the game is important and hasn't already been decided. Solomon is the only defensive end buffalo has who relies on quickness and bend to get to the QB. I just don't think they want to get rid of that in their toolbox.

https://www.cnn.com/2025/06/09/media/dr-phil-mcgraw-ice-immigration-raids-los-angeles Dr. Phil did a little ride-along. Yeah, that Dr. Phil. What, no room for Kid Rock? Can't make this sh!t up. Impossible to write parody headlines when reality is more absurd. -
Bug heavy LB, could help in the run game if he’s able to stay in position, guys like Baylon can go to practice squad or sit the bench .

In your head deep...!'m somewhat incapacitated at present. Bingo's OK ,I guess. But when I play games, I prefer bridge. And pi$$ing off the lib "owners". And I've been a Bills fan since I saw them practice at Niagara University. This is very cool: https://www.buffalobills.com/news/throwback-thursday-bills-training-camp-history-10537441

Ok, but it seems a bit unreasonable to apply Occam's theory and not consider that being lied to is pretty much a mainstream issue these days. You imply I'm thinking conspiracy, but I'm thinking with a cell phone and communication/messaging apps it's pretty simple to organize a crowd of individuals intent on creating a ruckus. That said, you asked what I thought, I replied. When you pressed for further information, I replied again. There was nothing conspiratorial in what I suggested, yet here you are offering your opinions on my potential conspiracy theory. For what it's worth, we were lied to about Russia and who knew what and when, lied to about the deteriorating mental condition of JB, lied to about HBs laptop and Russian disinfo campaigns, lied to about elements of COVID including death counts of the elderly....all of which had the numbskulls on the other side of the political aisle screeching about conspiracy nuts. I'm not doing that here, and certainly acknowledge the possibility you have laid out. It's quite reasonable. It's ok with me to disagree agreeably. -
Slightly surprising in terms of timing. Did have a poor season in 2024 though. If this happened in March I'd not have been as surprised. While I don't think he is a high end MLB he wasn't exactly expensive so having made it to June it's a tad odd.

Kamara is a pass catching RB. Compare #s. It's not even close.

Yeah, but not as insane as that avatar you have. 😀

Serious question cos I don't follow the Bengals closely - is he worth kicking the tires on? I wouldn't mind an experienced LB on our team.

His build makes it very difficult for him to improve in pass blocking. I'm guessing he's worked on it going on at least seven years now going back to college. I don't think it's due to a lack of effort.

Same old song in the PSL thread. Always harping on the negative. Relentless.
