For years I have begged the Bills to add speeed to their defense , particularly in the secondary and they finally after years listened. Bishop and Hairston are freaks athletically and Hancock is above average as well and you saw such a stark difference in this Gamecin comparison to others. Trust me what Hyde, Poyer, and White did for this organization establishing culture and using their brains were fantastic but they were never fast enough to stay with elite speed on offense. These kids can. They just need to commit to it now. The 3 youngsters should start in the secondary with Benford and Johnson when he’s healthy. Get them as many looks and reps as humanly possible to get them ready for the playoffs. My concern is on the DLine, we need to get these guys healthy and quick. Jones and Sanders need to be back ASAP

If McD is calling the defense, then he needs to be accountable for the failure of Babich. We had a shot to get Vic Fangio and instead went with this painful exercise.

This matchup not playing to our weaknesses was completely intentional for the record lol. The team is molded to do exactly what it did today to the chiefs. We’ve had not much of a pass catching threat from the outside WRs for two consecutive seasons now and despite that have the 3 highest offensive point totals against the chiefs among afc teams in that time. (3 of the 4 if you’re counting the total nfl) jags did score 31 but there was a pick 6 in that one

I agree with everything except the part about not kicking the field goal at the end of the game. Prater will make that kick more often than not. It’s definitely risky but the reward is that you win the game if you make it.

Toronto fans might be the most underrated classless group of fans in sport. Here they didn't sell out a game all regular season but they care so much to hang around and boo the trophy presentation. I get it, hockey set the bar for their behavior in other pro sports but it's just weak AF.

The bills DEs have looked pretty good to me all year…there’s just been so many coverage issues early that really no amount of quick pressure really mattered

I agree with @Special K that the bye week was far more important. The loss to the Falcons may prove to cost the Bills the division and a #1 seed. A terrible loss to a team that was basically trying to give the game away in the second half. Nothing they may have learned that day wouldn't have been obvious with a self-scout during the bye week. They still have plenty of issues to address regarding things they may not be able to execute with the personnel they have in games where the players aren't as excited about the project as they were today.

I am very anti-Blue Jays so was delighted they lost. I grew up going to games at the Ex in the late 70's and those fans were the most obnoxious I've ever encountered. I was the only fan in the stands that leapt to their feet and cheered when Dave Stieb lost his no hitter to Roberto Kelly with two outs in the ninth at Skydome. Their players were classless in victory and I think Yankees and Mariners fans alike would agree. Good team but not likable. WNY is Yankees/Sabres territory not Jays/Make-Believes. The Bills organization wishing the Jays luck against the Yankees after the state coughed up the better part of a billion for the new stadium was absurd. Last I checked, Ontario kicked in nothing. The play there was to be neutral. I apologize if you think I am being insensitive to you as a fellow Bills fan but you introduced it. It was great seeing basically zero Blue Jays gear at the game today.

I think it was more the Bye Week coming at the perfect time.........it gave the team a chance to look in the mirror, figure out what isn't working, and what needed to change to get back on track. I agree that the most important change was McD realizing that he needed to put the D into his own hands, and call the Defensive plays full-time. The loss of Oliver and now Hoecht really hurts the Pass Rush, but the continued emergence of Bishop, Hairston, and hopefully Hancock in the secondary could help counteract those losses. Go Bills!!!!

Difference is, and they could tell themselves as many anecdotes as they want... That they just played a Bills team that was more injured than they were.. we're still down our best outside wide receiver, and our defense is very hurt We beat them without our best team.. they're not adding anything that will tip the scales back.. specially when we're getting stuff back also
