I guess I'm underwhelmed by this whole thing. At first I thought Terry was hiring the position and it would be advising Adams, NOT that Adams was hiring a gopher. Plus ya heard names like Ken Holland, Lou Lamarielio, Brendan Shanahan thrown around and they hire Jarmo Kekalainen. meh

why do trumpers want autocracy
Homelander replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
See, thatâs the problem - it drives all the MAGA cultists insane. They blindly swallow everything Trump, Elon, or whatever the latest right-wing hero spits out, no matter how ridiculous, as long as it glorifies MAGA. And the moment you call them out? They completely lose it. Screaming for bans and censorship because theyâre fragile as hell and canât handle anything that doesnât come wrapped in their propaganda. Just look at the fools scrambling to clean up Elon Muskâs drug-fueled mess. -

why do trumpers want autocracy
Joe Ferguson forever replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's all about breaking lines. For instance, unqualified, useless "journalists" who have no idea how to access and divulge crucial info even if they knew where to find it vs those trained to do just that, equalizing inferior intellect's superior ones. In the same way, the public has begun to respect the opinions of midlevel medical practitioners with those of well established quality . We are being trained to accept less for the same cost. This is R mantra these days. , -
Thereâs something to your thought. On an island where they believed theyâd be rescued, neither Mary Ann nor Ginger made any headway with Thurston. In short, I think Mrs. Howell mustâve had skills. Same thing with Brady Bunch and Alice. Sam the Butcher personally delivered the meat to the Brady home and hung out with Alice. I think she was a magician in the sheets.

Elon's Scheduled Temporary Special Employment Ends!
Homelander replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So cute watching you preach about journalistic standards, but letâs be real - this isnât about truth, itâs about protecting your idols - that's what this is all about for MAGA. If the New York Times ran an anonymous hit piece on Bidenâs brain function, you'd be posting it with confetti. But the second itâs about Elon a guy whose public behavior speaks louder than any unnamed source - suddenly youâre a media ethics watchdog. You donât care about facts. You just canât handle criticism of people youâve decided are above it and that's so you. -
Oh, thatâs just great! My kid just started doing trials. Heâs gonna walk into a courtroom and the opposing attorneyâs gonna be a cyborg! But yeah, hadnât heard him mention anything like that, but with whatâs happening that doesnât seem a stretch.

Trumpâ â¤ď¸Â Tariffs
Joe Ferguson forever replied to The Frankish Reich's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I just got my passport renewal approved. was concerned as I'm a registered D and not ashamed of it. they're looking at social media posts for foreign higher education visas. But was any R ever concerned in the same way? I think not. Not for any good reason. When a fifth gen American is worried about the guarantee of his citizenship, there's a problem. No obvious litmus test for citizenry now, but it's not far off. -
Elon's Scheduled Temporary Special Employment Ends!
Homelander replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Ah yes, the adults are back - the ones who brought us record deficits, reality show politics, and policy via tweet. Spare us the fantasy novel about Guatemalan antelopes and âGod-fearing patriots.â What youâre describing isnât leadership, itâs a culture war tantrum dressed up as governance. If this is what âadultsâ look like, itâs no wonder the countryâs exhausted. -
Elon's Scheduled Temporary Special Employment Ends!

Hey, this is just whatâs in the news and this seems to be the place to post it to let people be aware of it and stir the pot a bit. Thats all quite normal for Trumpers to do here. People will believe what they want. When the big bad wolf leaves the farm, the chickens start to squawk, so it wouldnât be unusual for this report to come out now. Itâs not the first time that Musk has reported to be a user of ketamine. Trump himself publicly speculated recently, without evidence, that the cocaine found in the White House during Bidenâs term belonged to sleepy Joe or his son. Trumps FBI is now reopening the investigation into that event. Trump makes suggestive allegations, without evidence, about his targets all the time. Itâs how he plays politics. So whatâs fair game and what isnât? -

this is what happens when you give morons power... you need a new phrase. I dare you to come up with one. try a thesaurus. -
why do trumpers want autocracy
Homelander replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Exactly - it's not just about distraction, it's about preemptive disruption. If you can keep people constantly reacting instead of thinking, you never have to confront real questions. The system thrives on noise, not substance and the less independently people think, the easier it is to sell them the illusion of choice. -
Good thing they got rid of those DEI folks and replaced them with all this âwhite competenceâ - itâs really going great.

Joe Ferguson forever replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's about disengaging the average brain from serious thought. If they can break up a formulating argument in its genesis, it's unlikely going to reinsert itself into the public conscienceness. they're well studied on human declining independent thought. -

Word is, Goebbels is fuming because an African American stole his wife. History has a twisted sense of irony.

I donât see toughness as being a weakness in Bishopâs game, matter of fact, I think that toughness is a major strength to his game, heâs similar to Poyer in that regard. The question is, does he have the brains of Poyer or the dog mentality that he had? I see Bishop as a SS/hammer that can lay the lumber down. But how well can he cover? And how well does he have the playbook down? And can he be our QB on defense? Im more worried about who will take on the Micah Hyde role on our defense.

During the playoffs as well until facing KC. And I guess that one time against the Bengals. -
why do trumpers want autocracy
Homelander replied to Joe Ferguson forever's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
If unelected bureaucrats quietly making decisions is the problem, then thatâs an issue with how our government functions and itâs been that way across all administrations, Republican and Democrat. But letâs be real: MAGA constantly needs a conspiracy to explain the world, because facing their actual track record - from policy failures to indictments to chaos - is too uncomfortable. So, they invent shadow governments, stolen elections, and âdeep statesâ to avoid taking accountability. Itâs not patriotism. Itâs deflection. -
I'm more interested in weeks 7-superbowl than weeks OTA through week 6. Recent Bills history might agree with me
