The guy seems to have the "Knox" problem, of being able at times to make the spectacular leaping grab, but dropping the ball that smacks him in the hands and he needs to catch in this league. That's something Knox was able to improve, going from a mid-50% catch % his first 2 seasons to >61% since (his 3rd season was 69%). He did it by following some eye training program that required a buttload of work and having ping-pong balls fired at him. Shakir also went from a 50% catch % his rookie season to >75% since. He did it in part by working with Eric Moulds who had him catch balls bare-handed, which requires more focus. So that can be improved. At times what I see is that the guy just doesn't hustle. He is in no hurry when he runs his routes, including ones where he appears to be the primary target (like that route over the middle on 2nd and 10 vs Miami that someone posted video of). So that's within his control - is he hustling as much as he can hustle, every route? He hasn't earned the right to "pace himself" on some routes where it's a run play or going to the opposite side of the field, and with Josh, you just can't run your route and stand there. So that can be improved. As far as how fast he is, that may be an "is what it is" thing, but athletes can train for burst and suddenness, which help them release cleanly and fake defenders out. It's re-training muscle memory, and it's a lot of work, is what I understand. So I'll give that a "maybe". I think his main problem may be between the ears.

Previous And Ongoing Election Rigging and Interference.
B-Man replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
SCOTUS Must Stop Mail-In Voting Madness. One of the suppurating sores that still bedevil our body politic in the aftermath of COVID-19 is the ongoing abuse of mail-in voting. Absentee ballots have long been available to a small number of voters, of course. But, during the pandemic, many states used public safety as a pretext to dramatically expand eligibility for mail-in voting and to extend the deadlines for receiving these ballots. Now, at least 30 states continue to count such votes long after Election Day has come and gone. This inevitably creates concerns about election integrity. Consequently, it was only a matter of time before the U.S. Supreme Court would be required to decide if post-election vote counting violates federal law. This is why the Court quietly added Watson v. Republican National Committee to its docket last week. In 2020, Mississippi passed “emergency” legislation requiring election officials to accept absentee ballots “postmarked on or before the date of the election and received by the registrar no more than five (5) business days after the election.” Long after the pandemic had ended, Mississippi inexplicably made that post-election deadline permanent. Thus, in 2024, the RNC and the Mississippi Republican Party went to federal court to challenge the statute. The U.S. district court judge ruled against them. The RNC subsequently won, however, in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mississippi appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court, which agreed to take up the case. https://spectator.org/scotus-must-stop-mail-in-voting-madness/ We’re an international laughingstock, unable to tally our own election results while blue staters magically find whatever ballots they need, taking as long as they like. -
According to Cover 1, Coleman will be a healthy scratch

I think Moore will take Samuel's spot and Codrington takes Hardmans for returner i hope I'm right lol as would prefer not to see Keon -
What the Brown Eyed Girl said. Do you remember when… Hes over the hill and for now, our answers are upon the team. For me it’s’s Palmer, An alternating Shavers and Davis, and Shakir. 5th can be Moore or Samuel, whoever is healthy, and if we needed after this week a returner, then Hardman. Screw Coleman. Disorganized, not prepared or even professional. Knox or to a smaller degree Hawes until Kinkaid is absolutely 100%. Cook of course, and when needed the other two, but make them the safety valve for the out route passes. Brady should confuse defenses by sometimes when we decide to run, have Knox in there sometimes, so we are not predictable. No more of this crap behind the line of scrimmage. Did you guys notice our running game against Tampa stunk as they loaded thr box, but then we kept hitting downfield, and softened them up, and wha la, the running game dramatically improved. Sure, they had 200 rushing yards, but Baker who is my second favorite QB, was pedestrian. We gave up the running game, and they blitzed 60% of the time, which is common for Bowles and it normally works. It did nothing for their defense and we took advantage of it. Bowles is normally a defensive expert, but not this week. We made lots of mistakes, but darn that game was fun. Almost as much fun as the Chiefs game. We may have finally found a WR crew with Coleman on the line. So a hell no to OBJ. I’d rather draft one to two every year for a couple of years. I know we need a LB, a Nickel CB, but WR has to finally be top priority, and free agency is a no go. We just don’t have the $.

Jumping Offside in an adrenaline filled football game is different than missing and being late for team meetings Especially when you’re a second year player who has been nothing but a disappointment compared to a respected 9 year vet who doesn’t miss team meetings (and not dancing on the sidelines on a game where he’s benched for missing team meetings ) -
I get the nostalgia... but no... we need to stop kicking money down the road to sign aged middling players in hopes that they can resurrect glory days... its really not working all that well...

Josh after his 6 TD performance: "I didn't play well."
GoBills808 replied to Sierra Foothills's topic in The Stadium Wall
when did he say this? -
Funny little ESPN video I didn’t see posted anywhere:
-
I’m sure he’s beyond cooked when did he play last? He got cut from the dolphins IIRC? did the ravens even make an attempt to to resign him in ‘24?
-
Davis in not on the injury report. He is still on the practice squad, so they don't need to provide status updates.

I hope Codrington takes Hardmans spot for returner and Moore takes Samuel's spot. Want nothing to do with Coleman after how good the offence looked without him -

His toughest test will come this Thursday when he plays against the NFL's #1 defense. Best 3rd down defense. The Bills will have to run a balanced attack and keep that defense honest with play action. The OL really needs to step up this week. Josh needs to forget those lame interceptions against Miami and Tampa and turn it on a notch and get a win in Houston. His last two trips there were not very good (except for the receiving TD) -
Eli Manning is an interesting case. He had those 2 superbowl runs beating the Pats. But he only had average stats in regular season and was never an NFL MVP. Tough sell to get into the HOF and thats why they passed him over the first year.

Saudi Crown Prince Pledges to Raise U.S. Investment to Nearly $1 Trillion by Nick Gilbertson Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman told President Donald Trump on Tuesday that Saudi Arabia will be upping its investment commitment in the U.S. to nearly $1 trillion, up from the $600 billion pledged in May. Trump received the crown prince on the South Lawn with plenty of pomp, culminating in three F-35s and three F-15s flying over the White House. After giving the crown prince a tour of the “Presidential Walk of Fame” along the West Wing colonnade and a photo opportunity, they held a bilateral meeting before reporters in the Oval Office. After giving the crown prince a tour of the “Presidential Walk of Fame” along the West Wing colonnade and a photo opportunity, they held a bilateral meeting before reporters in the Oval Office. “I believe, Mr. President, today and tomorrow, we’re going to announce that we are going to increase that $600 billion to almost $1 trillion of investment, real investment, and real opportunity by details in many areas,” the crown prince said. “And the agreement that we are signing today in many areas of technology, [artificial intelligence], and materials, magnets, etc, that will create a lot of domestic opportunities,” he added. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/11/18/saudi-crown-prince-pledges-to-raise-u-s-investment-to-nearly-1-trillion/

I think we match up well in this game. So they have Stingley and Lassiter... Whatever, we can't throw outside against the likes of JuJu Brents and Jack Jones, so it's not like that was ever going to matter. They have the best EDGE duo in the league, well we have great pass protection on both ends. This is a game our offense is built to win - punish them with the run and throw over the middle. The defensive game plan is easy. Bracket Nico Collins and expose Davis Mills' complete lack of mobility in the pocket. It's a matchup league and I don't think Houston's strengths matter with how our team is built, while their weaknesses play right into our preferred game script.

Moore, Shavers and Coleman appear to be the only 100% healthy wide receivers we have. Assuming 6 WR will be active on gameday with Shakir, Palmer and Davis being banged up/listed on the injury report, 3 healthy and 3 managing injuries and playing.
