i want the queefs to miss the tourney but to also play spoiler to some teams who would otherwise be ahead of us in the 1 seed sweepstakes. i think they beat the colts. kc has the best run d in the nfl over quite a few seasons now, and i don't think the colts can drop back and pass on them. i think kc might write the blue print for stopping them and they might just end up splitting vs jags, houston (both of whom they play twice after this week) and even the nfc north teams (seattle and sf). i think the colts will be a 5 loss team. i think we can be the one seed if we only lose 1 more game, but we might have to run the table to get it. upside is if we do run the table i think it's almost certain we are the 1 seed.

I strongly disagree on your first sentence. The prevalent rumor is that he was set to play last weekend until he missed a meeting Friday. I actually think that's a true one. I do agree that he just hurts the progressions. But if he plays I think he will see more than 10 snaps, some coming in relief of Shakir who is banged up as well.

Since this is a Thursday night game does that mean Practice Squad Elevations are due by 4 pm EST today? That's an hour and 20 minutes from now. The 3 players up for this to me would be Davis, Latu and Fox. I'm kinda hoping they elevate Latu and Fox and bring Davis up to the active roster while putting someone like Mathis on IR.

I believe he already has the most ever for regular and post-season combined. But once he passes 75, I believe he'll also then have the most ever for a QB in either regular season or regular/post-season.

so i know we play base nickel, but tbh that (for us and other teams at least like 40% of the time, if not more) just means we take off an LB and put in a corner. a lot of the time 7 for us (and the nickel corner for other teams) basically plays linebacker in that they line up exactly where an LB would line up and do exactly what an LB would do on that play. when we are in different formations and do creative things to disguise and post snap and all of that then it ends up being more of a tool for the DC, but the bear formation discussed above is the same thing as a 3-4 where the outside LBs line up on the line in a 3 point stance, there are two things at play -- who you put out and what you have them do. IMO, what we've seen many times and especially this season -- when we go 3 LBs instead of nickle we are taking off taron johnson who is shot/washed right now (hope he's hurt and just gets better) and we put on dorian williams who is perhaps a touch undersized but is a physical player and a real plus athlete. 3 LBs also creates some formation changes so that 8 and 58 don't have to be super fast and perfect in technique and reads or else they get their tiny slow bodies thrown around, so i think having DW out there improves their level of play as well. i think 8, shaq, and dorian williams (when they are available) should be our base LB set and should get a good number of snaps going forward. when he was in his prime 7 was a nasty player, but he's not been steady in coverage for over a year now and he's really undersized in the run game. also, as max gets more burn and benford is back to health (something was wrong with him before, he was just not good in a few games this season), along w old may poy/hancock and the suddenly solid cole bishop, the secondary is better so we can put more resources into the front 7 to stop the run and be physical/pressure the passer.

No I don't think he's a complete bust It's just that when you're getting picked where he gets picked your expecting kind of expecting a lot Expectations are sky high

I think we’re doing a little too much here with this Texans defense. Outside of a bizarre week 1 game (which was a loss) what good QB have they kept in check? Aside from the fact that they have barely played any…teams have gotten theirs. They are pretty good. Let’s relax here. They aren’t better than the KC defense. We can score on them
