  1. Past hour
  2. I get that. I just don't see a logical reason to get rid of it, personally.
  3. That year we would consistently jump out to 14+ leads, then put offenses in pass only scripts with back up level QB’s and we just steam rolled people. Not exactly what we face when the stakes get higher.
  4. You could say they had a “playoff caliber” offense
  5. Our previous defenses were in the top in "Yardage Allowed" and Turnovers. I don't think we have ever had a strong run defense in McDermott's term.
  6. Philip Rivers is a tremendous quarterback and was doing basically what Daniel Jones was doing right now and look how good they are Patrick mahomes is obviously a beast Philip Rivers is way better than Daniel Jones and look what the colts are doing right now.. they have a really good offense in place Philip Rivers had a great offensive line and a running back with some weapons a better team than he had in 12 years in San Diego no matter what their record says And that was his last hurray Patrick mahomes is Patrick mahomes and can score 30 on any team just like Josh Allen... Gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice versus the Chiefs secondary We had none of those big time weapons they had.. they had all pros we had stefon diggs who didn't show up big in the playoffs
  7. Every team has injuries in the playoffs. I'll grant you that year, that game, it was worse and we likely win if healthy. What about other years? The excuse game is lame.
  8. You must be the Life of the Party
  9. 2021 was he best defense this regime fielded. We allowed over 40 points at home to the Colts, over 250 yards rushing. We allowed 40+ to Chiefs in 13 seconds. This was never going to be some dominant playoff unit. No evidence to suggest that besides beating up on inexperienced QB’s.
  10. I agree. Given the injuries and other issues Brady and McD finally said F’it and gave Josh the green light to go downfield. Throwing to the RB seems to have been installed against the fish and it carried over in this game. Kate they finally also started opening running lanes for Cook and Josh. I hope they utilize this same game plan against a tough Hou defense. Make it impossible for their DC to take anything away. If they stack the box, throw over them. If they cover deep hit them with RB and Josh runs. If they blitz hit the RB out of backfield or Shakir in the space the blitzes vacated. This is the way everyone truly eats.
  11. Good point. I read that Belichick designed the Giants D around the Bills' passing game. To limit YAC they played to keep all passes in front of them. So they were vunerable to our running game.
  12. This is the last thing I'll say on the subject it's not a lame excuse They had four players on the injury report... Patrick mahomes who is 100% playing.. two backups and 1 starter and they played .. any injury that happened 8 weeks ago is irrelevant because they're professionals and adapt.. I never throw von Miller's injury into our injury discussion because we had eight weeks to adapt okay The bills didn't have their best safety.. and lost their best cornerback in the first half But we had 10 players on the injury report going into Arrowhead.. in a game of inches ... Played without two starters ... Six starters and two contributing backups on the injury report with fresh injuries from the last 10 days This is a game of inches and all of that happened and we lost by three... If we were healthy we're beating the Chiefs That doesn't even talk about the injury report two years ago I don't care if you don't believe me I am fully certain that the bills can and will win versus the Chiefs if healthy.. beating them five straight times in the regular season shows we can .. that's not a fluke Everybody says they have a better roster than us yet were barely losing while being hurt more ... Ravens had six all pros last year and we beat them in the playoffs Maybe McDermott's not that bad of a coach
  13. I have been looking for a long time for the stat that tracks every teams relative health historically so we can truly discuss how unfortunate we are. I would guess in the scheme of an entire year, we are actually doing pretty well. While we have had some poorly timed things occur in the postseason, does anybody here really think those past defense, even when healthy, would shut down a legit playoff team? (not the wild card carousel of bums and back ups we have had, but an actual contender). The answer is hell no and if you think that’s a yes you should be required to provide some form of logic to support it.
  14. The Unicorn has to overcome… usually every game : 1) His crap OC designed game plan; 2) Scrubs & spare part WRs, courtesy of his GM; 3) Some goofy game calls and absurd TO stuff by his HC, who is also responsible for 4) One of the poorer HS level D in years- can’t cover, can’t tackle, can’t blitz, can’t stop 3rd & longs. So, he must go full cray cray mode to overcome all, something NOBODY wants him to do- because of injury risk, but because there are no other options in 2025!
  15. "Communist Mayor of New York City, Zohran 'Kwame' Mamdani, has asked for a meeting," Trump posted on Truth Social on Wednesday nigh. "We have agreed that this meeting will take place at the Oval Office on Friday, November 21st. Further details to follow!"
  16. Prescott’s 2nd in this concocted configuration and leads the league in QBR. 🤷‍♂️
  17. We've seen Josh make some bad decisions. Although Josh throws picks at about the same rate that Brady did, Josh throws more boneheaded picks, and I think that affects how some people see him. And yet, Josh leads the entire NFL in EPA/play. 1. Josh +0.26 2. Mayfield +0.25 3. Daniel Jones +0.24 Josh's score is higher than most of Brady's season EPA ratings. It's an interesting Top Three list because teams had given up on #2 and #3. Even with the league's best score, I think Josh's EPA can go up even higher when & if Josh improves his decision-making process, Brady does a better job scheming a downfield passing game, and Beane gives the offense better weapons.
  18. That’s a good looking admin
  19. Playing Klein was a decision. A terrible one. He may have known the defense but he was spent. Every single team deals with injuries. It's a lame excuse.
  20. Either he is being benched as punishment for behavior or because they don’t think he’s good enough. “I’ll take BOTH, Alec! BOTH, FINAL ANSWER!”
  21. Maturing is realizing Brandon Beane is the man we should want fired, not Sean McDermott.
  22. We rank 30th in EPA per rush. We rank last in average yards per carry. Teams league wide are attacking two high looks with renewed energy in the run game and we didn’t prepare for it. Sometimes we score more than the other team. That doesn’t make it better that we are vulnerable here. This reminds of the old arguments about Allen’s interceptions not mattering. It can rarely be that we just mismanage or stink at something and that’s bad. Usually we see a contingent of people almost try and warp it into a strategic decision to just suck and how it makes sense to just concede. That somehow bad is good or bad is fine. Meanwhile our entire offensive identity is built around what you’re saying should not matter. A boomer inefficient ground oriented offense. It’s ok for us offensively, that’s what we want, but we don’t care on defense and it doesn’t matter. Makes sense.
  23. Coleman needs to demonstrate that he’s ready to play, before he ever is allowed to actually play. This means, stop ***** up immediately!
  24. Ever met an anesthesiologist? Why does being a pedo need to be a partisan issue. You all think we give a ***** if a democrat goes to jail for sex trafficking? No one is above the law is what I constantly read on right wing sites. Let it rip. Clinton and Trump. In one cell. Put that ***** on Netflix.
