  1. Past hour
  2. The comments below the X posts are already claiming it.
  3. Palmer was a good intermediate to deep threat for the Chargers last year and he’s been getting good separation so far this year. I’m hoping a lot the concerns about the downfield passing game will be quelled as he builds more and more chemistry with Josh throughout the season.
  4. They are close enough, they should be doing that right now IMO. No point to wait
  5. The 21st centuries MLK Jr. with less drugs, prostitutes, and assault on women.
  6. Tomorrow I will be rooting for my fantasy players. Other than that, it’s going to be 82 degrees. So probably watch some games late and get a swim in with the kids.
  7. Was it last year or the year before? I was talking to an eagles fan Friday and we couldn't remember. Rams beat lions - rams played in phili? I think the rams are better this year and the eagles are not the same team now as they were 6 months ago or the same they'll be in the playoffs
  8. best band at Rhythm and Roots this year
  9. There's that and there's how teams play D against us. I love Jimbo but defenses don't crowd the box to stop him. Defenses often take away the long pass and challenge us to dink-and-dunk and run the length of the field, hoping at some point they'll get a stop. Even the best offenses have miscues, penalties, dropped passes, and so on. Eventually, by taking away the deep ball, the defense gets a stop or gets us to settle for a FG. Not on every series, but enough to keep the game close.
  10. If the Bills played a flawless game, some would complain that they didn’t face enough adversity. They are a great team, not without flaws, but we got 17. It’s all good.
  11. I like our backs. But if we could get a Cookie Gilchrist clone - i.e. a power back with speed - I'm in. Defenses couldn't play 2-deep shells with itty-bitty coverage linebackers if we had a powerful bruiser like Cookie. Give me an Eric Moulds clone at wideout and Josh would go off, assuming Brady knows how to scheme a downfield passing attack, which I do wonder about. On defense, we have many needs. Bruce Smith is too much to ask for but an Aaron Schobel clone to pair with Bosa would be great. We need to generate more pressure. And we need another good CB - I'd be thrilled if Tre simply regained his old form. Maybe Bishop will evolve into something eventually but right now, I miss Poyer and Hyde. It's all science. Cloning can solve every one of our problems.
  12. I understand that Cook’s public statement of $15 million turned some people off. I think people should consider what we don’t know about any conversations that happened between his camp and the Bills. It’s weird to me, for instance that Rousseau, Bernard, and Shakir, we’re all in the front of the line when it’s very obvious who the best player from that draft class is. Maybe Cook’s public comments was frustration regarding the Bills’, treatment of his contract. Maybe he felt disrespected by the team. Maybe his comments were necessary to get what he was seeking.
  13. I can't find myself on that post. But that's not bc I was on the right side of history, but because I was so upset by the pick, I didn't even want to talk about it. Glad I was so wrong. Though to those that were upset by the pick like me, I still maintain that Allen is a unicorn. The exception, not the rule. If we found ourselves in the same situation in the future, I'd still be against the Allen like prospect. Bc 9.5 times out of 10, you're ending up with Trey Lance or Anthony Richardson instead of Josh Allen.
  14. T minus 12 minutes until one of the wonderful thought leaders on here tell us he's a secret MAGA - a Kroyper against Kimmel, plays simcity 2000 online, and writes messages on his bullets in enigma code.
  15. Ugh That's all I have
  16. As I'm optimistic as I am, I dare not say the words. Here are three moments I will never forget, my three biggest Bills heart breaks My son rejoicing (we were quite literally jumping while hugging in front all his teenage friends) with me as we took the lead vs KC with 13 seconds left, and then I told him it's not over yet and got a sick feeling as he said no way we won dad I got that sick feeling Because I immediately started thinking about.. I was thinking about the music City forward pass. A much younger me( 21 years old)and my best friend were calling each other all game talking *****. All game ever big play I either called him or he called me talking *****. When that forward pass happened I will never forget the sound of that ***** phone ringing as they crossed the goal line. I did not answer the phone Because in 2000 the 4 Superbowl jokes were all the flavor when people talked ***** to me about the bills Which takes me to... Young teenage me on the couch watching wide right, saying he made that right and then reality sinking in The Washington loss, we were destroyed. It was awful, by the third, I was embarrassed and after the 4th I wasn't surprised. That fumble changed the game. We were in it until then Those were the worst ones. There are many others. In fact the term Billsy was similar to.being Munsoned was a real term, But those are the worst for me so until it happens, we gotta shut the ***** up a bit about proclaiming anything til we get there
  17. For sure. If that defense can’t turn it around, their season is going to be a long and losing one. Agree but with what’s been shown on the field so far, they are a better team than the Steelers. Like you said, it’s going to come down to mistakes They’re both poorly performing teams but I out the edge to the Steelers right now.
  18. Our D is not good. This is a typical year.
  19. Is Cook being mediocre to bad at pass pro a legitimate reason to keep him off the field at this point? Davis looks horrendous and Johnson doesn't look much better so far this season. If we're running 13 personnel then he should always be on the field, surely with 3 TEs they can block.
  20. We’re probably going to need a CB for when Benford launches with his head and has to miss time. He’s not gonna make it to the end. LB to be safe.
  21. It's not a UB season without at least one big fat choke job. Up 17 at the start of the 4th, UB gives up 3 TDs and loses 21-17 to troy. QB Ta'Quan Roberson is injured in the 3rd Q and Coach Lembo, showing zero faith in his backup, just runs the ball, goes three and out over and over, and lets Troy back in the game. Then with 45 seconds left and down 4 they start passing and get close enough to throw it to the end zone three times. You couldn't have tried throwing the ball a little sooner?? Ay yi yi, every UB coach gets one massive choke of a loss and Lembo now has his.
  22. Me so hungry:
  23. So far through preseason and the regular season, I have not seen one good Davis run Just Took a scroll down memory lane there
