  1. Past hour
  2. From what I've heard any team that signs him now would have to put him on IR right away... Physically he isn't ready yet. If he wants to hang out in Buffalo and use our renowned training facilities and be there as our break glass in case of emergency option, I'd have no problem with that.
  3. Joe brady absolutely salivating at the thought of another blocking receiver who can run in a straight line.
  4. That may be true of his last game with us. I'm not defending that game and him dropping the ball there at the end. There's no question there was a fall off in his play and/or disconnect with the team at that point. And again, that was inexcusable. But the narrative of his Playoff "disappearing act" and my discussion of scheme is about much more than that game.
  5. Well, for about 5 years they have been on par with B grade SEC schools getting consistent top 10 pre season rankings and never coming close to expectations in the weakest division in college football. We should give Nebraska some credit for those Natties with Tommy Frazier.
  6. hard to say. too many moving parts in the NFL.
  7. It doesn't mystify me in the slightest. Mack Hollins was never supposed to be relied on as heavily as he was. It was just a matter of Keon Coleman not being ready for primetime out of the gate and Curtis Samuel being hampered for the majority of the year with injuries. And ultimately, his even being here had to do with what we could afford at the time. Hollins was always brought in to be mainly a Blocker and Special Teams ace. He wasn't someone in their long term plans as a WR. Extenuating circumstances and him overachieving led to a bigger role and more production than expected. Even then, his abilities and what he did last season are greatly exaggerated by Bills fans. In 20 games and 15 of those him starting, he put up 482 yards and 6 TD's. That's a lot more than was expected of him. But that's still not great numbers. When the time came that we could do more at the position, you want to have someone more talented there than Mack Hollins playing as much as he was. And as likeable as Hollins is as a character, Josh Palmer is world's more talented as a WR. We signed Mack Hollins to a 1 year 2.6m contract with 1.1m guaranteed. The Patriots signed him to a 2 year 8.4m contract with 3.5m guaranteed. That's a massive pay raise and a longer term contract. We were already looking to upgrade from him. We were never going to match the kind of money and role NE was offering. And that was the right call.
  8. If we could get out from that contract I agree but we would literally need to restructure a deal just to get rid of him or find savings another way
  9. The amount of hot air spent here trying to mock or dismiss Fergs little protest is amazing. Like, who cares? You all remember all the Tea Party cranks? The right to peaceful protest is one of the best things about America.
  10. I feel he quietly got better
  11. Phoenix & Salt Lake City are further west longitude than Easter Island.🗿
  12. I was thinking the same thing about Bishop. He could be cut. Guy doesn't even look built like a football player in the slightest. Didn't he play safety at Utah. Why is he always out of position playing the position he played in college. Something really seems amiss. Hancock at leasts looks and plays like a football player. And has loads of upside. I did not watch the second half of the debacle on Sunday night. But Cain looked good last year in the preseason. Has decent size and speed. Why is it never an open competition at WR on this team. Its like we go into OTA's and training camp with the team pretty much set at WR every year. I was reading that we had like one of the least roster turnovers from last year. We need some new juice at WR. Why not keep Wilkerson Shavers and Cain? And put them with Coleman Shakir and Palmer. Moore and Samuel are small and injury prone. If not all three of those. Keep Chenault to return kicks and be a gadget guy. And go with Shavers and either Wilkerson or Cain.
  13. I’m not sure this is all true My recollection of Diggs towards the end in 2023 was that they just put Sneed on him and erased him. Back in the day, the gameplan used to be to put CB2 on WR1 with help and then leave CB1 on an island for WR2 IIRC. Thats valuable if your QB and WR2 can make CB1 pay.
  14. Meanwhile…..Howie Roseman signs DT Justin Rogers…. a guy that Beane just cut. Brett Veach just signed Michael Wiley and Nate Matlack just last week. Your wanna be diss on Beane is just so ridiculous. It’s like you just have to bash on something to make yourself feel better. Literally every GM in the league is dumpster diving right now. Every. Single. One.
  15. I am fine with Hamlin as the BU and situational. Hope for Hancock to become all he can be , in good time. You sell him on winning a SB as to why he takes a cheap but guaranteed contract ? lol
  16. I believe he goes by the name THE BOSS.
  17. When the real ammo was flying and shots counting Bishop couldn't survive in live fire.
  18. and yet ... Forrest is no where to be seen
  19. With one week left in the PS this is a disgusting comment. Safety is probably the most important position in McDermott's defense and to not have 2 guys identified at this point is a tremendous problem.
  20. Simmons is a cerebral player. If you are bringing one in , thats your best bet. Babich have to scheme over the weaknesses Like , slow. Both Rapp and Hamlin and Simmons (age) This is why we need the D line to get pressure and fast. Hold the line for the quick LBs and never let the other team get over the top lol Scheme LOL 😋
  21. Averaging 500 or so yards and 4 TD's more a year isn't really an argument? Like... what? That's a MASSIVE difference in annual production. On top of that Diggs' top years in production in Buffalo when it comes to yardage and TD's eclipses that of Moulds. The argument about him disappearing in the Playoffs to me is dismissing the fact that the game plan in big Playoff games was to go to the guys who weren't facing the heavy coverage. Many of those games he was flat out used as a decoy. Why do you think he lost it in the Cincinnati game? Why do you think Gabe Davis had the game he had in Kansas City? Should he have come down with the ball against KC at the end of the game? Absolutely. But the "disappearing act" everyone likes to point to was largely scheme. They wouldn't even look in his direction bc of the rolling coverage and McDermott being too conservative in big games and it was infuriating to me. I get not liking the guy. How he handled business. How things ended. His general Diva attitude. But to say Moulds was a better WR is just factually false. Stefon Diggs as a player will be remembered by fans of the NFL way more than Eric Moulds and no one but the most homer of Bills fans with an axe to grind would even try and make this argument.
  22. Sign Simmons. Groom Hancock behind him. Cut Hamlin. Allow Cole Bishop to play out his rookie contract (didn’t like him coming out and not surprised at his lack of success thus far. Hope things change.) PS I liked Hancock more than Bishop as draftable players.
  23. That was not always the case in the BJ Era (Before Josh).
