  1. Past hour
  2. We were at 13 seconds, I looked at my wife and son and said, “ This isn’t over yet.” Then I started jabbering “ They're gonna squib it…..They’ve got to squib it, right???” Then I started screaming at the TV, “ Why are you giving Hill that cushion?!?! Jam his arse!!!!!” The rest is history I was surprised but not fully……life of a Bills fan😮
  3. Sierra, you're an intelligent poster and I usually agree with you. But not here. According to one source, opposing QBs have a 121.9 quarterback rating when targeting whoever Tre is covering. If I'm a QB and I need a third-down conversion, I'm throwing to Tre's guy. Maybe Tre's dealing with something and will improve as the season progresses? I doubt if that's the case, but as a Bills fan, I can only fill my days with hope.
  4. Not the whole place, but certainly large swathes of it. Certainly including this dumb thread.
  5. In another thread this is how I ranked my options: 1) Kevin Stefanski (if the Browns fire him) 2) Brian Flores 3) Robert Saleh 4) Klint Kubiak 5) Kliff Kingsbury/Vance Joseph I favor picking a retread coach because the clock is ticking on Allen's career and I'd rather not have someone learning on the job if I could help it. Flores and Saleh would have to come with the right OC but Allen is going to be successful regardless of who the OC is and I'm sure they'd have their pick of the litter given the career opportunity of getting to coach Josh Allen's offense. Kingsbury and Joseph I kind of just threw in there as the other retreads floating around the league who have since had successful stints as coordinators, but I'm not sure either of them have the right temperament to be a head coach. At a certain point though I'd be willing to try even them over McDermott because I just can't imagine a significantly lower floor. Kubiak is the easy choice if you're trying to pick the young offensive coach. Like I said I'd rather not waste too much time on a newbie learning on the job but his coaching resume is legit and he could probably build an almost unstoppable offense in Allen's remaining prime years. I could be convinced he deserves to be higher on this list. The head coach picks the GM these days so this question is irrelevant.
  6. That makes sense. To me the Yankees are like the Lakers, Cowboys, or Leafs. Just so hard to justify liking them. But, if you're a fan. You're a fan.
  7. Not a big fan of either of McD or BB, but they are going nowhere. Pegula just is not going to fire them.
  8. If the year ends in similar disappointment as every other year, the fanbase will be restless. Having a brand new coaching staff in place as the new stadium opens would be extremely marketable. "Come watch the next stage of Josh Allen's career." The excitement in WNY would be palpable. Like you couldn't draw it up any better than that. By the way I don't think Pegula is actually going to fire McDermott after this season no matter what happens. But it won't be because he's thinking about dollar signs. It will be because he genuinely likes McDermott as a person and I don't think he has it in him to put his head on the chopping block unless the bottom completely falls out. As long as we're going to the playoffs he'll convince himself good enough is good enough.
  9. VICIS actually has an inner and outer shell with a series of columns in between. The inner shell is solid and the outer shell is kind of soft. I can actually put my fist into it and it and the knuckles sink in a little bit. Any contact with the helmet, causes the outer shell to conform to the impact point, and the columns distribute the energy so that the skull absorbs significantly less force. The Axiom from Riddell is pretty great too. It has a lot more flexible points than the speedflex, including the base of the skull. But for my money, the VICIS Zero 2 is the safest helmet I've ever worked with.
  10. Guess It wasn't a beautiful day in the neighborhood.
  11. Today
  12. Every good team will probably lose 3-5 games. The way a lot of fans are it’s either win or panic.
  13. Conclusion: other teams' OL are better at hiding the holding than our OL.
  14. It’s ok for fans to not like elements about this team. All of us just don’t have to turn in our fan card because the regular season success isn’t doing it for us anymore. Most of us already went thru the 90’s. You aren’t beating that group for success without a Super Bowl win so running that back is a tad hollow as Allen approaches 30. So as we fumble thru an insanely weak part of our schedule looking ripe to have KC or somebody else decimate our defense when it matters it’s all valid talk.
  15. Maye looked like the Josh of old rolling out to his right and hitting the receiver at the sideline. He even had the "jump in the air" throwing mechanic of the rookie Josh.
  16. On the issue of helmets you'd think the interior could use some form of cushioning to absorb the force of the back of the head hitting the turf. Maybe cushioning on the outside back of the helmet or better yet, natural grass.
  17. Upgrading Tre #1. Upgrading Rapp #2 Nothing wrong with these guys being in sup packages like 3S Dime or CB4 Dime/Quarters.
  18. At a certain point ability plays above the scheme. Do the Bills have the ability to play above coaching?
  19. I just want to operate with a higher sense of urgency ….. no particular reason comes to mind.
  20. It's not a matter of liking or hating cities. The Yankees have a long, proud history of great players and winning championships. Many were long time Yankee fans before the Blue Jays became a team. Many of the Blue Jay fans here are fans because of the affiliation with the Buffalo Bisons. There's also the fact that the Yankees and the Mets are both NY teams, just as the Bills are the only NY team. Personally, I'm a Yankee fan and am disappointed by the Yankees season ending. They were beaten by a clearly better team. The Blue Jays played championship caliber baseball. Best of luck the rest of the way.
