  1. Past hour
  2. The deep diving has more to do with me enjoying the intricacies of the game of football. Yes, you can boil it down like you did here. You can watch the ball 100% of the time in the game and enjoy the hell out of it. I dont bemoan people who do. But why bother commenting on the thread if its not what you like?
  3. I’m not a conspiracy theory guy, but I’m also not a fan of the excuse that we’re not crooked, we are just totally incompetent.
  4. Joe also mentioned the fact that the Bills are getting exactly what they want a lot...stacked boxes, single high...but all to often just running right into them... They have to take advantage of the mismatches they are creating... I've been saying this for two years now... They are REAL stubborn with the run game... They are a great running team no question... But they also get stubborn with it and don't take advantage of what opposing Defenses are giving them.
  5. Stupid that the fans can’t keep the balls that they catch. The NFL and the owners bring in so much money. Let’s say 3 balls go into the stands each game (which may be on the high side), the NFL can’t afford $500 per game? Give me a break.
  6. Right. I mentioned elsewhere that the Pats are the first team to figure out that if you stop Cook, you stop the Bills. Allen could have eaten a sandwich on some of those pass plays, and even then his receivers evidently couldn't get open, or at least not when Allen was looking their way. Take-away: Elite receivers make so much money for a reason: They really do make a difference. "Everyone eats" is happy talk for "Our wide receivers are mediocre." Yes, the offense can and will still carry the defense to win a lot of games, but what an appalling waste of Allen's prime. It's like making Usain Bolt race wearing mud boots.
  7. Josh Allen played in a tie game? Someone remind me...
  8. Top tier jersey matchup. Home vs Bruce the pirate for Tampa will look great too.
  9. Which is why nothing else matters with Trump II beyond bringing these traitors to justice. Without it the entire term is a failure.
  10. This is 100% a Vrabel thing and it shows. We historically struggle against him.
  11. Could start a go fund me…. Get a street sign….. hire a plane to haul a banner……just spitballing 😜😎
  12. The “deep diving” into this game is way too much. The coaches are bad, the defense is bad, the wrs are bad. 2 flukey fumbles don’t happen the game is over by half time. That isn’t even including the redzone pick Allen has never thrown. No different than the, Jets, Dolphins, or Saints games. Going into the game, how do those teams win? Multiple turnovers. The Patriots got them and Buffalo lost a game they shouldnt. NE is closer to NO than they are close to Buffalo. Deep dive, dont beat yourself by being careless with the rock. The end.
  13. He wasn’t as good as the defenders covering his prime target (Diggs)was awful. If that’s the way our corners play man defense, we’re going make opposing QBs look like Probowlers. How many times did D-linemen have opportunities to sack him and he got free to find open receivers who got YAC. Dequan, Bosa, Epenesa and Rousseau all whiffed on Maye and let him run for 1st downs or completions. We need Hoecht, Ogenjobi, and Oliver to make an impact because with our D-line’s inability to get pressure and Milano’s limited availability, our crappy secondary is being exposed. Beane made all these D-line acquisitions and oft-injured Tre White for corner depth with Hairston in the 1st round and through 6 games, we have zero impactful additions to our defense. I like Palmer, but on offense as well, who is making a difference as an offseason pickup? Now if Beane stands pat at the deadline, he thinks this roster can get us to the SB. If teams go to school on the Pats game, we’re in for a lot of shootouts.
  14. Flacco bought the ticket (probably)
  15. I don’t have an answer, Just more questions. Am I missing something with Moore? Everyone keeps saying Bills can’t stretch the field, doesn’t Moore have like 4.32 or 4.34 speed? Is Shavers so important on special teams that he should be active rather than Moore?
  16. Fully agree. They dont have a guy who can consistently beat teams week in and week out without help from the coordinators plan.
  17. The disclosure that Jack Smith spied on a member of Congress and 7 U.S. senators is part of a bigger picture: Had Trump not won the election, Smith was going to bring a superseding indictment against the president for seditious conspiracy (something I said for years) and implicate GOP lawmakers, White House aides, and campaign associates. Imagine what would be happening under that lawless, vicious, unaccountable thug had Kamala Harris won. Only part of the hellscape we avoided with Trump’s victory.
  18. To trade him in division, the Browns really soured on Joe.
  19. No matter the color, our Monday night record is not good.
  20. And Russ is the President of the XFL BTW... it was a joke, the Dolphins are not gonna go hire Russ Brandon or Whaley for that matter... but please accept my congratulations on your gotcha moment... !
  21. There were a few things I thought went into the poor run game. Collinsworth mentioned one on the broadcast. The Bills personnel and where the Quarterback lines up under center tips the defense off to whether its run or pass. Against the Patriots 80% of the snaps they took from under center were run plays. Even the personnel groupings were a bit of a tip off. 78% of the run plays came out of 11 or 13 personnel. Essentially, Brady didnt make them guess enough. Joe Marino mentioned the Bills ran a lot of 11 personnel. Which is true. But when they ran in 11 personnel, even if they had trips to one side, they ran the receivers tight to the tackles rather than outside the hashes. The Bills ran 46% of their run plays out of some sort of bunch formations. Which means in those instances they were facing some variation of an 8, 9, or even 10 man boxes. Even if the line plays well, which they did, its hard to make progress against stacked boxes. Further evidence the Patriots were not very worried about play action or the wideouts ability to beat anyone over the top. Next time they play a team like this it would be helpful to show more runs out of shotgun and spread formations. Right now Brady is tipping his hand. Lastly, give the Patriots credit, their linebackers are extremely patient in the run game. They are sound with their gap integrity and dont overrun plays. Brady needs to make teams like this more uncomfortable with misdirection. They ran that jet sweep, but never set it up with fakes, or motion across from one side to the other. Daboll was a master at this. He could show you three plays out of the same look and just build and build on it. I miss that aspect of his coaching.
  22. Probably, but he is doing something
  23. If anything, I feel he’s way more creative than Brady and would take advantage of our limited talent better.
  24. They did not reverse the call, calls like that make me wonder sometimes.
