  1. Past hour
  2. True. But they will continue, they have nothing else.
  3. Good to see you, Thurm. Frankly, I've forgotten about last season, and I'd forgotten about that play until I saw the discussion here. I saw it like you did. It was one of those plays where, if you want to win championships, you need someone to make a play. Josh didn't, and Kincaid didn't. It was a tough, tough throw under the circumstances, but one that Josh needed to make it better. If he'd made a better throw, none of us would have been surprised. We would have said "Incredible Throw!" but wouldn't have been surprised. And it was a tough, tough catch, particularly as we know now Kincaid was playing without his usual mobility. If he'd made the catch, none of us would have been surprised. We would have said "Great Catch!' but we wouldn't have been surprised. Eli made an incredible throw, and his man made an incredible catch, to beat the Patriots. Edelman picked a ball of the ground to win some big game. We came name a dozen of those plays. Making the play and not is the difference between winning championships and knowing that you let one get away. I wanted to wake you up from your nap.
  4. Damn straight! Get off my lawn!
  5. We actually got a pretty good look at Mahomes' routine, plan, and activities in the Netflix "Quarterbacks" show. It was beyond impressive. While I am not criticizing Josh, or questioning his work ethic, I don't see how it could be at the same level. For example, Mahomes built a facility in KC and moved his long time personal trainer to KC. If Josh was doing something like that, we'd know it. Again, I'm not questioning or criticizing Josh. But I dont think the effort/dedication/whatever you want to call it is the same. Could certainly be wrong. Maybe Josh is doing everything Mahomes is and we just dont see it. But Mahomes' level would be difficult for ANYONE to match.
  6. I'm in 124, end zone seats 21 rows from the field.
  7. Both can be true, but its my viewpoint that McD has done more with less. Aj Klein on Kelce was mismatches that Andy Reid, and any other top notch coach could scheme against a depleted LB crew. I've yet to see us have a "super star" on defense, Tre and Von (pre injury even he wasn't a blue chip player anymore). We've had a LOT of very good players, but injuries and lack of a blue chip talent on DL have held us back when it matters most. JMO
  8. I'm amazed that Allen was able to get that ball to the spot of where Kincaid was. I hope that Kincaid can put that play out of his mind, and I'm hoping he can become a very good player for us.
  9. Are you forgetting Cook is only 25 and he outplayed Henry in the divisional head to head in the biggest game of his career.Give Cook more touches and you’ll see more production in yardage and TDs. Beane is mishandling this negotiation. He could have had him for $42 for 3 years with $35 guaranteed. How many mediocre backs have we had since Thurman. Even Lynch, who was good, was crazy when he was here and had to go. Sign Cook before he has another great year and he becomes even more expensive.
  10. This is my reply to your ad hominem claim. People always claim as hominem attacks when they refuse to let go of an issue. As you have done. You have made multiple threads and posts blasting Kincaid and Coleman. You asked people to show you anytime Kincaid made a tough catch and when multiple folks posted such, you deny them. You continually blast Coleman even though he’s only going into his second season, as if it is impossible for a second year player to improve. You blast both players based on the messages Beane and McD gave them this off-season, then refuse to acknowledge they responded by working hard. Can both of these guys get better? Sure. And that will make a great offense even better. The offense last year did a great job, but you continue to focus on one play in the championship game, a play where Spagnolo made a great defensive call, as somehow proof all of the receiving core sucks. Well guess what? They don’t or the team would not have had the success it had. And as far as the complaints about separation ability and speed, they added two WRs in the off season to address those. So these and other reasons are why I have said your posts are like a puppy dog with a chew toy. If that’s an ad hominem attack, and if all the other posts from folks who differ from your myopic stance are as well, then so be it. If you were tough you wouldn’t complain.
  11. the fact that you got 4 “disagree” reactions to this post is a little concerning, and makes me wonder how much those people really watched the games last season. (unless you want to make the syncophantic argument that Josh Allen is actually Josh Allen’s best playmaker… )
  12. Henry is a unicorn. He is still top 3 in the NFL even at age 30. He is getting what he deserves. James Cook is a nice RB. But he isn’t changing the landscape of the NFL. I think the Bills may offer $35 mill for 3 years tops. And that’s a very fair contract for him. If he won’t take that, he may not play for the Bills again. And we won’t miss him. Because there are a lot of guys who would run very well behind our O line. And if we have to become a more passing centric team w/o Cook we will be that.
  13. that sounds unhealthy and like it’ll lead to burnout pretty quickly.
  14. That may well be true, but Ty Johnson is the better receiver.
