Those who know, know why:

I think you're dreaming. He had a 3rd round grade on him for a reason given his small arms meant most likely a slot only WR. However, if Shakir can put up 700 to 900 yards receiving every year I'd be cool with that at $15m per year for a slot only WR.

Excellent Game 1.....the Oilers two superstars come through in the clutch once again. Something good is bound to happen when they are on the ice together.

I was a janitor. People confide in a janitor. I knew a lot of dirt.

I'd be more with you if it wasn't $12m guaranteed for a one year deal spread over two years with $7.2m in dead cap in 2026. I just wish it was a clean one year deal but I get why they did it. For that money we should absolutely expect him to be a difference maker in the playoffs. If we fail to make the Super Bowl, it's a bad signing no matter how you spin it.

I find it odd I've never heard of pink cocaine before this. Turns out it's a total misnomer, and is actually closer to exactly what my first ID was: molly and other more "designer" synthetics. All news to me. The unhinged behavior in this case is Diggs letting anyone record and release anything unvetted. One imagines the attention is not entirely unwelcome, despite being negative. Builds upon his off-field legacy/persona.

Pretty much a “my **** don’t stink” remark by Day. With the way CFB is going it’d seem inevitable that 3-4 teams from the B10 and SEC every year will be in the playoffs with a 16 team format. But even with that, tend to think there’ll few surprises when it gets down to the Final Four most seasons. I hope it doesn’t go to 16.

I generally agree with all of this, and I have a special disdain for fans who gripe and complain while the Bills are winning (which sometimes involves grinding out narrow, chippy victories over inferior teams, and other times involves stealing a last second victory from the jaws of defeat). However, it's understandable that some passionate fans are fighting against the trap of "good being the enemy of great." As in, good isn't good enough. And ugly wins CAN raise red flags for that cohort of discerning Statler and Waldorfs.

Citing positive statistics as the OP did is an expression of appreciation for what the Bills have accomplished. Moreover it's a way of acknowledging that they're an excellent team and it indicates that the person expressing the data is happy with the team. Along those lines, if you don't get enjoyment and pleasure from watching the Josh Allen Buffalo Bills, you're probably not a happy person. Another sign of being a generally unhappy person would be if you're irritable or unsatisfied with a Bills victory because it wasn't as convincing as you wished it to be. JMO.

Yeah, a more descriptive title. And more descriptive words in the post. Other than no idea what this is about, great post.

PFF's top 32 TE's (Dalton Kincaid at 10!!!!!)

Did you notice any discernible variance in his route tree in the aftermath of your yelling? -
Joe Brady says Dalton "lived here this offseason"

That's not it. That's maybe a part of it, but only a part. And he has been working harder again in the last year or two, from the evidence anyway. And that he "quit" against the Bengals is pure personal opinion, and in my own personal opinion, a dumb one. Not playing very well isn't quitting. He failed. They failed. -
Once McDermott took over, Darby was facing extinction. He hopped in his infamous Bentley and headed to the Eagles. This was actually somewhat of a homecoming for Darby as Philly is less than an hour from his hometown of Hamby, Maryland.

Agreed that in the first few seasons he worked like a dog. Sure looked like after he'd made it he took his foot off the gas a bit. That interview on Bussin' with the Boys podcast did not look like or sound like a man working hard in the offseason. Not even close to Tom Brady or Peyton Manning hard, anyway. Having said that, it sure looks to me like he noticed it and consciously got the fire lit under his butt again. Pure guesswork but it looked to me like Hailee has been a really good influence on him, and that his earlier breakup with his high school girlfriend might maybe have thrown him for a loop, but as I say, that's all pure speculation. -
Bills games you’ve never rewatched
The Frankish Reich replied to Bills!Win!'s topic in The Stadium Wall
Same here. I also can't watch a recorded game that I missed live. The most I'll do is record it and join in while the live action is nearing halftime, then catch up to real time before the game ends. Sporting events are made for live viewing. -

Can't say it better than that, Shaw. I agree with every word. So frigging close, but it didn't happen. He certainly hasn't been "the" issue. But even though he has overall played terrific, he's been part of the problem. Not "the" problem, but part of it. Look at the first two or three drives last year in that Chiefs game. Josh was awful. Yeah, he played really well after that, but if he'd played at the same level the whole game we're in the Super Bowl. -

Luck is the residue of design and while timing is said to be everything, it's correct that it's harder now than ever before.

I was a bit late to come across this one… I’m spending more time than I should wondering what the original title actually said …

I got no problem with these deportations. It’s good to see scumbags tossed out due to an absurd border policy past 4 years. I don’t really get the order from Miller to deport 3k a day though.
